    Chicken Tikka Masala
    Jordan W.

Sometimes I read reviews and think, no, it can't be that bad. This is not the case. This food is total garbage. Edit: Out of curiosity I washed the chicken off. I have no words.

Chicken Vindaloo which actually has white curry base. Tastes nothing like an Indian curry.

I would give this place -10 stars if I could. What food is this because this food isn't Indian. The naan is the store bought pita bread. The curries have coconut base gravy. We ordered Chicken Vindaloo and Lamb curry. They both look white and have tons of coconut in them. Nine if these curries should have any coconut in them and shouldn't be white. I would like to talk to owner to understand what they are trying to sell to people on the name of Indian food. Edit - I wrote the review when I was sitting there with my family and the food came. That's how bad the food looked and tasted. To add, both me and my 9 yo got stomach upset right after taking couple of bites. My son had a bite and I had a few and both needed to run to the bathroom. We felt really sick. I would say stay away from the place no matter how much do you crave "Indian" food. In the restaurant, there was just one employee who was taking orders, cooking, cleaning the tables, serving, taking phone orders. He was a one man show. I feel for the guy but I think it could be the reason for unhygienic condition of the food since the guys probably doesn't have time to keep his hands clean all the time when preparing and handling the food.

I wanted very badly to love this place, but it is three stars. To be fair, it's the only Indian place in Cedar City, so we will be going back. We ordered off of DoorDash, and it was very easy and the food came super quickly, so that was a plus. The Tikka Masala is pink? I've never seen pink tikka masala before, and it's okay. It just kinda tastes like chicken in sauce, but I ordered it mild so maybe when you get spicier there is more flavor. The butter chicken is good. I've never had butter chicken before, but there was flavor and I liked the sauce. Rice is also proper batsami rice, and I loved it. They don't call it naan, they call it flatbread. Which makes sense, because I don't think it is naan. We got the garlic naan and didn't really feel any garlic flavor. However it is good bread. 3/5, could be better but as the only Indian place in town we will be coming back for their butter chicken!

We found pieces of paper in our door dash food order tonight.

Found pieces of paper in our food order tonight. Typically we have been pleased with the food. Sadly, not tonight.

    Cucumber water

The cucumber water is a wonderful touch. The Bombay cafe in St. George is a favorite place, but it's a favorite place for a lot of people and is often crowded. Saturday evening,

The owner was super nice, but the food was awful and too expensive. Would never eat here again

Loved the coconut curry chicken. Toasty flat bread and cucumber salad were the perfect side. Kind service. Yum!

I'm not one for Indian food at all but I will eat here again. I had Chicken tiki masala with nan bread and it was delicious.

Went there at 8:30 pm and the owner said it is closed. If you close at 8:30 pm, please don't put up a sign with the closing time as 9:00 pm.

We ordered the Lamb Biryani, Chicken Tikka Masala, Saag Paneer and Coconut Raisin Naan. Prices were good and the flavors were great. I honestly wasn't expecting an Indian place in La Verkin to be so flavorful, I hate to say, but I was pleasantly surprised when I bit into the Tikka Masala that it was indeed spicy as I had ordered it. And what a nice surprise with the coconut raisin naan! Would highly recommend this place. They were even kind enough to give us to go plates and silverware since we were at the hotel. This ended up being the best meal oddly enough on our road trip from Texas. Sure maybe because we were eating a ton of crappy camp food and then all of a sudden came upon an oasis of flavor again, but I think even compared to some Dallas Indian spots, this one was better.

The staff were so friendly and polite, it made me want to consider dining in. I got the Chana masala and the garlic naan ($20 total excluding tip). The food was ready on time. It did not come with utensils or napkins, but luckily I had some of my own. The naan was flavorful and warm, but parts of it were stiff/stale by the time I got to enjoy it 1 hour later. Not sure if I just got a bad batch. The Chana masala was flavorful and tasted great at just the right amount of spice based on the spice level I typically order, but the rice was clumpy. It was edible and decent, but I've definitely had better even for take-out.

The only guy working seemed irritated we were there, but we stayed. My wife asked for medium hot because most places under spice, but here it was on the hot side of medium or kinda spicy. I got the tandoori chicken and the third cut in was very raw! We will not return. Update! The owner contacted me offering 2 free meals cooked by him personally. We said thanks, but no thanks. I did tell him we would try out the place again next year after his staff is more thoroughly trained.

It was one…read moreof the first places we ate at, I've worked remotely here, brought my kids often, and constantly recommended it to people. The staff has always been friendly, and the food and drinks are great. Sometimes flavors or presentation vary, seating isn't completely comfortable, but it was never not an enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, a recent experience completely changed my perspective for me. We attended their Easter egg hunt for the second year in a row. They advertised a 3-minute head start for toddlers (ages 0-3). As a mom of a 1-year-old and a 3-year-old, this is perfect. We invited several of our toddler mom friends and family to hunt with our kiddos. We enjoyed breakfast and coffee at the cafe before venturing to the event. Instead, it was nothing like last year and there was no separation. Older kids and oddly pushy parents immediately trampled the small courtyard area. It was chaotic, overwhelming, and frankly unsafe for the littlest ones. When I privately messaged the business to share that the promised toddler head start wasn't enforced and suggested better structure for next year, I was met with complete defensiveness. I was essentially told I should be "grateful" rather than disappointed because it was a free event (when technically we did pay over $50 to "be there") I completely understand that free community events are a massive undertaking, but good intentions don't excuse poor advertising, poor safety execution or dismissing customer feedback. To not even get a simple apology after years of loyalty leaves a terrible taste in my mouth. (Especially all while my kids and I are being used in marketing) I hope they can strive to actually make their customers "FeelLove" in the future.
