A delicious Thai and ramen restaurant here on the mountain!!
    Audry P.

Excellent customer service, very clean dining area, and good Thai food! I'm so stoked to have a Thai and Ramen place here on the mountain again! The menu sports at least three kinds of ramen, Thai fried rice, Thai garlic chicken (I ordered this), spring rolls, and mango sticky rice. I wish I had the stomach space to order a ramen bowl too, but I'll save that for my next trip. The Garlic chicken was good 4/5 for flavor, and presentation. The spring rolls were a 4/5 for flavor. All-in-all a good place to grab lunch and I'm excited to try the ramen bowls next time I swing by. ***My only suggestion for the kitchen is - to use less rice in the Thai garlic chicken bowl. There's enough for three servings right now, and it would be a better package with half the amount of rice, would be less wasteful, and cost less for the owner.

Cliff Notes Price Range: $$ Parking: Plenty Perk: Ummm Non-Perk: Food, paying Ambiance: Tired Dress: Please, just have clothes on Noise: Low Temperature: Cold Recommend: Not too many choices in Brian Head Response Time: Fast Professionalism: 100% Date: 2/06/2026 Dissertation: Stopped by First Chair and I really wanted this to be a win. I had the fried rice and the meat tasted like it had been cooked, cooled, reheated, and then thought about being cooked again. Not in a food safety panic way, just in a tired way. The white rice also tasted like it might have been from the day before, which is never the flavor profile anyone is chasing. I tried the egg rolls hoping for redemption, but they reminded me of the store bought frozen kind that come with instructions you ignore. Soggy, yes. Memorable, heck no. That said, maybe we caught them on an off day. It happens. I would be open to giving it another shot, just with slightly lowered expectations and a backup snack plan.

Delicious food at high altitude!! My husband and I loved this place. Their chairlift tonkotsu ramen with the pork is super delicious. My husband enjoyed the yellow curry.

We tried out this new Ramen and Thai restaurant yesterday located in the mall near the Giant Steps Lodge. The portions were huge, and the food was absolutely delicious! If you're going order one thing, I highly recommend the Khao Soi. The midnight Tonkatsu was also good, but the Khao Soi was off the charts delicious!!! Service was friendly and quick. The restaurant is very clean. Highly recommend!

    Khao Soi

I'm so excited about this restaurant! I've been coming to this town for the past 6 years, and seeing a place that serves both Thai food and ramen feels perfect especially for winter. I'm Thai, and I would say this is very good Thai food and also very good ramen. I tried the Khao Soi and the Midnight Tonkotsu, and OMG... this is it. Everything was unexpectedly flavorful, rich, and comforting. I'll definitely be coming back again!

Grabbed a quick dinner on our way into town. We ordered the yellow curry, Thai fried rice, and chairlift tonkatsu. Everything was good and came out hot!

The dinner was very good, although it is a little on the pricey side but I think it's worth it. We ordered the steak and fried rice, and we especially loved the fried rice! The ambience is really nice, and the wait staff was friendly and attentive. Since we were staying at the hotel, we were also told that breakfast was included, so we came back the next morning to try it. The breakfast is definitely geared toward a specific type of person, and unfortunately, it just wasn't for me or my friend. They serve yogurt, an egg, and a pastry, and we didn't really enjoy it, so we ended up finding breakfast elsewhere on the other mornings. Overall, we really enjoyed our dinner and would definitely recommend coming here for that, but the breakfast just wasn't our favorite.

The reservation was written down for 730pm. The host team did the best they could and had us seated in 15 minutes. Good recovery. Our server, Bailey, was kind and friendly. She was quick on drinks, soups, and salads. We waited quite a while for the Hibachi chef to arrive. A solid 30 minutes. He was great and made it fun. The chef, Bailey, and others apologized many times for the slow service. We were still having a nice time until the bill came. We looked at each other (the 5 of us) and said, "No dessert? Nothing was offered. No menu provided. Big miss! So we just paid the bill, tipped well, and left. There was a $45 discount on the bill that wasn't mentioned so I suspect this was the slow service or was it for not offering dessert? The hosts were friendly on the way out as well. This was definitely a 3-star experience on this trip, but we have had 5-star experiences in the past. This is the reason for the 4-star rating. If you're having a 5-star experience, the price is right, but it's a little pricey when it's a 3-star experience. Really great people at Sakura. A very clean and beautiful restaurant.

Every topping on the Rich Rich ramen, the tender pork, the veggies, the egg, tasted fresh and perfectly balanced, and the noodles had that perfect chewy bite that makes you want to keep going even when you're full. The fried chicken on the Chicken Tatsuta was crispy and full of flavor that really complemented the broth. The beef fried rice had that deep, savory flavor you only get when it's cooked just right, every bite had a mix of beef, veggies, and egg that made it feel hearty and comforting. It wasn't greasy, just super flavorful and satisfying. The cream cheese wontons were crispy, golden, and filled with warm, creamy goodness. They were the perfect mix of crunchy and soft, and dipping them into the sweet sauce made them even better. Honestly, they were addictive. On top of all that, the ambience made the whole experience even better. The restaurant felt welcoming, clean, and thoughtfully put together. Overall, everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and made with care. It was one of those meals where every dish hits exactly the way you hope it will, comforting, delicious, and totally worth it.

The poor waiter was running everywhere trying to keep up with the crowd, he still managed to give great service. The food, however, was beyond tasty. I love a good ramen and this one definitely delivered. The broth was warm and comforting exactly what I was craving. The restaurant itself is very small and quaint, that just adds to the charm. If you're looking for super tasty ramen and friendly service, I definitely suggest stopping by.

We drove in…read morefrom Vegas that morning for the day and we worked up quite the appetite after 9 miles of hiking. We were looking forward to some yummy hot food. My husband ordered the Chicken Pad Thai and I ordered the Garlic Chicken & broccoli. We shared an order of Rangoons. If I'm being perfectly honest the food was just ok IMO. I purposely ordered my dish with no sauce bc I don't care for my food to be swim in a sodium, sugar & oil mixture masking whatever flavor the protein & veggies present on their own. I actually WANT to taste them. I didn't expect my mind to be blown by my dish for that reason. I knew what I was getting & honestly my food was very good. The chicken breast was good quality, cooked nicely and cut into small bite sized pieces as was the broccoli. Just what I wanted. Now I DID want to splurge a bit which is why we got the fried stuff too. Now for the not so impressive part. The stuff that was supposed to blow my mind bc it was fried, came with sauce and lots of spice just fell flat. The Rangoons had very little flavor. They were even slightly under cooked it seemed. The corners were the only part that were crispy and the part closest to the middle was barely cooked. Not my fav. I like a very crispy rangoon. Maybe that's just my preference. I sampled my husband's pad Thai, also a bust. Hardly an spice or flavor. He ordered a 3 out of 5 and there was hardly any heat. Maybe my Vegas taste buds have been spoiled or maybe this is a different style of the Thai we're not used to. At any rate I'm only giving it 3 out of 5 stars based on the food itself. The restaurant was in an interesting looking built stone building & plaza and the interior was decorated with a pretty traditional Asian-Thai theme. This place was packed on a Sat night too! The locals must love it. There was a line of people waiting to be seated when we arrived. There are no complaints about the service. We called our order in for pick up. The man who took out order was polite and I believe he was the same host who was greeting people at the door. He was very busy but still gave great service with a smile. Again, this review is not a reflection of him. He was great. The food....just wasn't.

This is definitely a no-frills, order at the counter and get your own utensils type of place. The food here tastes how I would imagine a Korean auntie would make at home. The dinner boxes are loaded with a little bit of everything, and they are incredibly priced at about $15-$20 depending on the protein for a huge amount of food! I tried the spicy pork bulgogi and the spicy chicken dinner boxes. The spicy pork definitely has a kick if you can't do spice. After the spicy pork bulgogi, the spicy chicken tasted pretty mild if you're looking for something less spicy. I truly enjoyed everything in the dinner box and would definitely get it again. The spicy pork bulgogi kimbap ($10) is also delicious if you're looking for something a little lighter, and the portion will have you pretty stuffed. I got both types of tteokbokki (rice cake) that they have. Both were delicious, but my favorite dish is the creamy tteokbokki. Think Korean carbonara--creamy, chewy, and indulgent. Both are $10 each and you can't go wrong with either one if you're in the mood for tteokbokki. During my last meal here, I told them how much I enjoyed the food and the nice auntie came out to say hello. She was so sweet and even gave me a free ice cream!
