Placed a to-go order and it was ready in 5 minutes (1:50pm). Friendly gal (Taylor) at cashier stand was quick and efficient. I stuck to my usual of Panang Red Curry Chicken and it was as delicious as it was the last time I had it here. I appreciate their consistency. The hot and sour soup had no ingredients. It was basically a real dark broth with no mushrooms no carrot thin slices hardly anything in it and it was lacking flavor. It needed white pepper, and some more vinegar. The cashew chicken was in a bowl, floating in lots of some kind of dark sauce. The vegetables were submerged in this sauce in a bowl. It was terrible. The shrimp and vegetable my wife got was a bowl full of heavily cut vegetables that seem to be steamed or microwave and a few shrimp included, but there was no sauce hardly any sauce and it was just chunky and was nothing that was terrible The orange chicken wasn't bad. It was a lunch special but if you ordered that for lunch, you'd be sitting and eating a huge bowl of breaded coated chicken they need to serve that on a plate with some vegetables on the side or some other thing it's very unattractive. First of all, coming from LA, this isn't a place that is going to compare well with authentic Chinese restaurants with large Asian populations. In fact, this is probably the Asian restaurant most geared toward white America that I have ever been to, and I don't mean it as a dig, because look where they are located. It totally makes sense for them.to stay in business. When asked for recommendations, we were told broccoli beef, sweet and sour ____, chow meins. We followed a couple of the recommendations, plus egg flower soup, and a mapo tofu. All was good, but too sugary for my taste. The kids really liked it though! I've eaten at this Asian Bistro at least 4 times--always because others in my group want to go there--and have just never had a good meal. The sushi is second-rate, the pad thai is just weird, their beef has baking soda overtones that become overwhelming as you keep eating it, and the sweet & sour and curry-type dishes remind me of cafeteria food. It was a Sunday, we were traveling and had a hankering for some Chinese food. Found Asian Bistro in Cedar City Utah online. it was easy to find, easy on and off access to I 15, which is HUGE. We were seated quickly, which wasn't really a surprise since it was kind of early on a Sunday afternoon. There WAS a steady stream of customers while we were there. I honestly can't remember the name of the sushi roll that I ordered - after all it has been a week lol! - Nor the dish that my husband ordered BUT I do have pictures and will attach them. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love that they brought the silverware and napkins in a very cool dish that looks like stoneware, but was actually like melamine.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Which I have no problem with at all! I loved the dishes! They all look like stoneware, but they were that same material and I lived the Asian inspired design on each. I loved that the silverware was sturdy and had a nice heft to it. That is important to me when I'm dining. The food was spiced perfectly! oh wait, we did order some potstickers and we both exclaimed at the flavors! We loved the combination of spices, and the vegetables inside were just the perfect combination of crisp yet cooked. my sushi roll was rolled perfectly. Haven't been to the Asian Bistro in about three years. The last time I was there, they had changed their service from Buffett style to a meal with fixed proportions, obviously to save them money. The value of their product no longer justified the price. read more

Was staying the night in Cedar city and was wanting Asian food. Found this on Google and gave it a try. The outside can be a bit deceiving because when you come inside you are in the Orient! For my entree I ordered beef chop suey crispy noodles. And to not be overly dramatic the fist bite brought tears to my eyes bringing me back to a time when I traveled overseas and this is spot on! We stopped here for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised that there were several types of Asian foo. They have Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, and even some Vietnamese and Singaporean. The service was good, but since there were only a few people in the restaurant at that time of day, that was to be expected. Hubby ordered the Kung Pao chicken, and I had the Kung Pao beef. Finally tried their food via DoorDash delivery and will plan on trying more entrees in the future from their vast selections. Had the Orange Chicken (medium spice level) which had a good sauce. The coating looked thick and I thought from the initial look of it that it might just fall off but was pleasantly surprised it enhanced each bite and held on to the chicken. Also ordered the Panang Red Curry Chicken (mild spice level). I think they missed and made it medium spice as I needed the white rice I chose as the side to give my mouth a break.
