    Garlic Chicken and Seaweed salad

Great Garlic Chicken and seaweed salad, and large portions! Staff was fast and courteous, excellent environment for casual talking. Mix of Japanese, Chinese, & Thai dishes. Highly recommend stopping in and giving them a try

Just passing through around dining time and craving something Asian. The decor and dishes are super cute. The host was friendly and sat us right away. The place was packed, so it did take a little while for our waitress to take our order. But she was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the egg flower soup, gyozas, and the caterpillar sushi roll to start. All delicious. We ordered big plate combos for our mains. We got the Canton Style and Beijing Style. The sweet and sour chicken was really good. We would definitely eat here again!

    Potstickers--YUMMY

It was a Sunday, we were traveling and had a hankering for some Chinese food. Found Asian Bistro in Cedar City Utah online. it was easy to find, easy on and off access to I 15, which is HUGE. We were seated quickly, which wasn't really a surprise since it was kind of early on a Sunday afternoon. There WAS a steady stream of customers while we were there. Tables were cleared promptly. And it was clean. Anyway, our server, I believe her name was Holly, was prompt, courteous, efficient, and attentive. I honestly can't remember the name of the sushi roll that I ordered - after all it has been a week lol! - Nor the dish that my husband ordered BUT I do have pictures and will attach them. I love that they brought the silverware and napkins in a very cool dish that looks like stoneware, but was actually like melamine. Which I have no problem with at all! I loved the dishes! They all look like stoneware, but they were that same material and I lived the Asian inspired design on each. I loved that the silverware was sturdy and had a nice heft to it. That is important to me when I'm dining. The food was spiced perfectly! oh wait, we did order some potstickers and we both exclaimed at the flavors! We loved the combination of spices, and the vegetables inside were just the perfect combination of crisp yet cooked. my sushi roll was rolled perfectly. I think I would've liked just a little bit more of the spiced mayo on top though. Throughout this meal, we both exclaimed at how we were DEFINITELY going to come here again! And we live three hours away lol! The only reason I did not give it five stars ---Well, I rarely get five stars anyway --- but they need to figure out how to minimize the cold air when the front door is opened. It shot straight through the entry and into the big seating area. If they could just move a wall and have people enter a little bit farther over to one end or the other. Ha ha ha

Service was a little slow, but ambiance was really nice, comfortable, clean, nice decor. Good food, and good atmosphere. Definitely one of the best options in cedar city. UPDATE: Had the yakisoba on a subsequent visit. It is about as far from authentic as you can get. Not sure who the chef is or what recipe they are using, but it was drowning in this thick, overly sweet, very white person Chinese sauce. I would bet it came from a bottle, not made from scratch in house. Also got some sushi rolls, and the rice grains were dry like they'd been pre-cooked and stored in the refrigerator for at least several hours, if not overnight, before being used for the sushi. It also was not sweet like it was old and possibly not a good quality sushi rice. Not sure if they changed ownership since my first experience, but this was disappointing enough that I'm not sure I want to give this another try.

There were 4 people behind the reception table and that's good because there were piles of people inside! We were afraid we won't get a table fast because there were probably 30 people waiting both in and out. The receptionist asked if we're ok with sushi bar. We said yes and we were seated in 3 minutes, way ahead of everybody! There are 2 sections: habachi and sushi. We were of course seated at the sushi area. Our server's name was Star and she was lovely, highly attentive and efficient. We ordered sushi and yakisoba and everything was fresh and tasty! I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back next time we're in St George!

The reason for the one star review is the quality of the food. The food was bland and lacking seasoning except for the soup which tasted like you were putting salt directly on your tongue. We tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but the next morning I woke up with severe food poisoning, and spent the whole day stuck in my hotel room sick. We've called the restaurant, left a voicemail, and wrote in. We have not heard back. While we were initially excited to try this restaurant after driving by it for years, we will not be returning, and won't recommend this venue to anyone. They seem to have more focus on branding and being flashy, rather than proper food handling.

Our server, Josh, was friendly, attentive and answered our questions. We had the Tempura Vegetables, Gyoza, the Highlander Roll and The Panda Roll. We also tried their potato salad. The Tempura Vegetables were the best I've had in a long time. There was the standard onion and sweet potato. We were pleasantly surprised by the green beans and thinly sliced acorn squash. All the vegetables were delicious and the panko was perfectly fried. You could tell everything from the oil they were fried in to the vegetables themselves were fresh. The gyoza were standard and what one would expect. The two rolls we enjoyed were tasty and the presentation was very clean. The Highlander had a little heat and good flavor. The Panda Roll was something new for us. The protein in the roll was Katsu Chicken. It was a fun change and I love Katsu Chicken. The house made potato salad definitely had Japanese flavors. It was an interesting change. Our server Josh was great! Very attentive and helpful. This was a great first time out to Yokoso. We'll be back! Two small criticisms, the print on the menus is quite small and they do not have Diet Coke. Other than those two small things we really enjoyed our visit. The restaurant business is challenging. We wish Yokoso great success!

This is definitely a no-frills, order at the counter and get your own utensils type of place. The food here tastes how I would imagine a Korean auntie would make at home. The dinner boxes are loaded with a little bit of everything, and they are incredibly priced at about $15-$20 depending on the protein for a huge amount of food! I tried the spicy pork bulgogi and the spicy chicken dinner boxes. The spicy pork definitely has a kick if you can't do spice. After the spicy pork bulgogi, the spicy chicken tasted pretty mild if you're looking for something less spicy. I truly enjoyed everything in the dinner box and would definitely get it again. The spicy pork bulgogi kimbap ($10) is also delicious if you're looking for something a little lighter, and the portion will have you pretty stuffed. I got both types of tteokbokki (rice cake) that they have. Both were delicious, but my favorite dish is the creamy tteokbokki. Think Korean carbonara--creamy, chewy, and indulgent. Both are $10 each and you can't go wrong with either one if you're in the mood for tteokbokki. During my last meal here, I told them how much I enjoyed the food and the nice auntie came out to say hello. She was so sweet and even gave me a free ice cream! You can tell this is a family run eatery made with lots of care and pride. Give them a try the next time you're looking for some casual Korean food!
