Like many, I've seen their vehicles around town but I've never had to use their services as I do…read morenot have dogs anymore. Unfortunately, I do have a next door neighbor that is feeding 2 sibling feral cats, heck it might even be several neighbors. And the reason I say this is because these 2 feral cats poop a lot and I do mean a lot and it's in one section of my yard underneath and around my poor dwarf pomegranite tree. I can't keep up with it as it's so much so today I decided to call the Scoop Guys. Mike completely understood that it was a cat issue and a one time deal (hopefully). He mentioned that they generally deal with people with dogs but wanted to help me out. He said he had an employee, Jose, who lived in Petaluma and could stop by & discuss when he could clean my backyard. I told him to check with Jose what would be convenient for him, and shortly after I got a text message saying Jose would stop by today at 3:30pm and I could show him where these cats "spread their love" so to speak. Mike also mentioned that Jose might just do the job today. I got home at 3:22pm, saw the Scoop Guy van out front, went to the van & notice no one was there. Jose was already in my backyard working hard, we conversed, I showed him where I've seen the dirty deed and that was it. Oh and when I met Jose in my backyard he was wearing gloves and properly wearing a face mask. When I came home from work tonight I was pleasantly surprised to see everything cleaned up and they take the evidence away with them so it never goes into your garbage cans. I can honestly say that if I had a dog or dogs I would have no problem using the services of Mike's business again or even on a continual basis as after seeing first hand their work on a one time deal as well as talking to Mike about what they offer, confirming his prices & services I know that they are very affordable & do good work. Even if it's just a one time deal it's still not a bad price. I can without a doubt recommend Mike and Jose with the utmost confidence that they will clean up but not clean you out. They are excited when he arrives and they become upset when it is time for him to leave. Diego has house sat for us many times, from just overnight and for as long as two weeks. We are confident of his abilities and can relax on trips, knowing that are pets are in good hands. Diego sends us photos and provides frequent reports, which are very comforting when we are halfway around the world. Diego has handled the few emergencies that have come up very well. We have a three week trip coming up in the fall. Knowing that we won't have to worry about our pups makes the trip planning much easier.

If there's one thing Berkeley needs (well, there's definitely more than one, but I'll pick my…read morebattles) it's quality dog walkers and watchers. When we somewhat surprisingly became dog owners a little over a month ago, the first thing I did was email my pal Miyuki and ask for more information on the pet care business she works for. She got back to me quicksnap, and as soon as Sadie (our 10.5 month old mini dachshund) was fully immunized and spayed, we signed her up for group walks! We were a bit nervous--Sadie is tiny, weighing in at a ferocious 8 pounds--but Catherine and Miyuki tell us she has a good time scampering and bounding around with the bigger dogs. And she's always pooped when she gets home, so we know she's had a good day. It's a kind of big deal for us to feel comfortable enough with people to give them access to our house and our tiny beast when we aren't home, but Catherine came over one evening so we could all meet, and she did an excellent job allaying our fears (about anything) and explaining the precautions Floppy Ears takes with every house and every dog. We love them and Sadie loves them--what else matters?
