I accidentally ended up with a consult with Tilly and what a joyous accident that was. So she made time for me even though she was already well into her work. She was honest and provided options for hair extensions. She advised me on color and styling. I truly was so excited for my appointment because I love this lady to start but she is so positive and so clearly excited and happy to do her work and make her clients happy. I got my first set of extensions and I loved them. I came in with a blah blah hairstyle that was just some hair on my head but there was nothing about it making me happy or motivated me personally. I followed Tilly's advise in the care and maintenance of this hair and found my groove and confidence. Tilly is not just a masterful stylist she is a beautiful person inside and outside. She brings an upbeat vibe while working away. The salon is lovely and has ambiance but the true focus when you go to a salon is service and outcomes. Anyone who has their hair done by a professional knows it's an investment and people want value for that and this salon delivers. Tilly is so flexible she will even let you bring in your own hair. You heard right she is so skilled and confident it doesn't matter what method you are looking for she can do it. More important she will tell you when what you want would not be a good idea and if she is sure what you are looking for will result in damage she will not proceed. I have sewn in wefts and let me tell ya her braiding game is the best in town with confidence I feel her history and experience makes her a top stylist if you need any service that requires braiding. I have that fine,limp, slippery hair and her braids stay in! The cost of this work which takes a lot of time and effort is quite reasonable here compared to others and the fact is there are limitations to what can be offered at other locations. Tilly wants you to feel good, she demonstrates excellence in her craft. The quality of the work is second to none. She is beyond creative and knows what will look good with the shape of your face, tone of skin, even eye color. She makes people who have never felt beautiful walk out feeling great. I honestly cannot express enough how much I love this lady and her work and without a doubt the confidence she has me feeling about my look and style.

I like adding the brow tinting from time to time with my brow wax. It makes a huge difference. Now that they offer Microblading to their menu of services, I will be highly considering that. I have also had a facial at the East Vancouver location by Marissa not too long ago and she was very knowledgeable with skincare. I definitely plan to see her again for future facials. I am excited to eventually try the hydra facial.

I booked with Hannah online and mentioned I have thick long hair and wanted a chop for summer. I've never been to this salon before, but know from past experience it's important to note thick hair while booking. Their online booking system requires the stylist to "okay" the appointment, so someone must have seen the note about thick hair. At other salons, most stylists will see the note and book out an extra 45 mins..or call to reschedule with an additional block of time. This never happened and lead to maybe the worst salon experience I've ever had? Hannah started cutting my hair, and was a quarter way through before she mentioned I'd have to leave with wet hair due to time constraints. I wish she would have been honest and up front and I would have rescheduled or found a new salon for a cut that would include a blow dry + style. She shampooed my hair for less than 4 minutes and everything just felt so rushed! I was expecting to see another client waiting for her but that was not the case. I was in and out of the salon in less than an hour. She gave me her card so I could contact her if the layers dried funny or looked bad...so off I left with wet hair and a potential hack job of a haircut. I don't recommend this place, I got in my car and cried. I expect to leave a salon feeling beautiful and that just didn't happen!

Original review: This salon butchered my hair for $60-80 and then banned me from ever receiving my promised "fix". In the salon chair I began coming down with a flu, and it was really horrible and hit me hard and fast. I couldn't really tell how bad my hair really was until 2 or 3 days later when I felt human again. I called the salon after looking at my hair from all angles clearly for the first time, trying not to cry because I was so upset at what I was seeing. I had originally asked for an A-line cut. This is what I received. The owner asked me to email a photo showing my haircut, so l did. She then told me she DIDN'T SEE ANYTHING WRONG WITH MY HAIR..... I can laugh about it now but l sure was devastated when it happened. So after being dismissed I decided to open up a case with the BBB to try and rectify the problem since the owner wouldn't help me and was quite rude to me for no real reason I could see, considering this was not my fault. She tried blaming me since I was sick and didn't call them immediately. The salon owner told the BBB they would give me a free haircut to fix the problem. Ok, I accept that from another stylist, sure. I'm not looking to rip them off, I just want normal looking hair like I paid for. When I tried calling the salon to make an appointment for a fix a while later (brave, looking back) the person on the phone said I wasn't allowed there and nobody there would cut my hair! I didn't curse at these people, yell at them, or do anything disrespectful just to be clear. This was some time ago but I still want people to know how this business operates and I've never forgotten how horribly they treated me for no reason.

Very poor experience, I went in for a haircut at around 11 when they opened and there was 1 lady…read moredying hair for someone and said if i can go in later in about 1.5 hours i said its fine and left. I went in again at 1 and she was still busy with 1 employee working, She asked if i wanted to wait or come back later. I decided to wait. The lady completely forgot about me waiting there as i was waiting for about 45min. the lady was in the back doing idk what while i was waiting for my cut. I went and called her up to see if i can get my cut and she comes out eating and says she has to finish dying the others hair. Not only that she wasnt even attending her. She was like waiting for it to dry or something. It was so dumb me sitting 45. Complete waste of time and very bad service.
