I made an appointment few weeks ahead as I have 2 little babies. !!! At 11pm I got text from master to reschedule from 10.30 to 12pm as she had something urgent. I asked how much process will take, she said 3.5-4 hrs. So I was able to change my plans (and I always plan for an extra hour + to what master said). It supposed to be all done by 5 pm in worst case scenario. By 5 pm only color was done, it takes 5 hrs instead of 4, which would be ok but it doesn't include hair cut. She said another 30-40 min. But I had absolutely no time and I don't know what cut could be done for 30 min. About the color, I asked for warm blond wheat color. Instead I got ugly cold dark grey. She also died my roots in very warm color. I was so disappointed with final color so forgot to asked why roots were touched. However, no apologies only excuses. Master offered to redo color. I made another appointment in a week to give master another chance. But before appt I told her I want just a cut instead of color because I'm afraid of worse result. In a week color washed from dark to light grey, but it still too cold and ashy and too far from what I wanted. Master Albina said in a month it will be the color I need. Yes that exactly what I need in holiday season. I'm surprised she didn't shave my hair and tell in few months it will be length you want. Hair cut was ok, but too pricy $70 for bob haircut. It was a bad idea to give Albina another chance. Customer service - Should I mention it was the rudest, coldest and careless master I've ever met? Maybe she doesn't need new customers. Obviously, there was no discount offered for inconvenience, bad coloring, waste of my time.

I am honestly appalled by the way I was treated today. The very first thing said to me when I answered was, "You missed your appointment," in an incredibly rude and condescending tone. I wasn't even given the opportunity to explain the situation before being interrupted and argued with. What makes this even more frustrating is that if the receptionist had simply been kind and professionally explained the cancellation policy, or stated that they had not received any indication that I was canceling, I would have completely understood and comfortably obliged. I am not someone who argues policies -- I understand that when you sign up for something, you agree to those terms. However, it was the rude, disgusting, "mean girl" tone from the very beginning that completely set the narrative for the entire conversation. I loved my previous stylist but scheduling was tough so I was on the hunt for a new one. I'm pretty specific and I know what I like. Whenever I work with any type of artist I make sure I am completely obsessed with their work and have total confidence in their skill so I can fully trust them and let them do their work without worrying. Lexi is THAT gal! I spent the better part of a week scouting stylists and I knew she was it. So I go to AV Beauty and it is the cutest freaking thing! It's essentially one big room and it makes you instantly feel connected because the waiting area is right there in the action. (I'm an introvert and might be turned off by this somewhere else but it was awesome!) Lexi was so sweet from the first second - offered me a drink, caught the vision from my reference photos right away, and was super upfront about managing my expectations with what we could achieve in one session. (spoiler alert: she definitely under promised and over delivered). Ya'll, I have a LOT of THICK hair! Like, you have no idea. I typically spend a whole day at the salon and I was there for seven hours and my homegirl, Lexie, did not quit! She was amazing. She wants to make sure it's complete top quality and she's put her whole heart into it before you leave her chair. One of my favorite parts was that the other stylists and clients are all in the same space and it was basically one big hang out. Kinda the same charm as an old school barbershop where everyone chats together but with way more style. I left there feeling like I was one of the gang and it was my first time there! Arica was our makeup artist and she was truly amazing. She had the most fun and simultaneously calm energy.
