On Tuesday I took my 4 month old to get her lobes pierced and had an excellent experience. I called in advance and scheduled an appointment with Shar. Once checked in, we picked out the jewelry and Shar explained the difference between the metal types and benefits. After picking out the earrings she went to prep her tools and piercing station and chatted with us as she went. Once she was ready to do the piercing she explained the process and thoroughly sanitized my baby's earlobes. Everything was very clean and Shar was very kind and gentle throughout the whole thing. Once the piercing was complete Shar reviewed the aftercare instructions and made sure we were knowledgeable about what to expect for the healing process. Bombshell USED to hold a special place in my heart. I've gotten almost all of my work done here. Recently I, and multiple other people I've talked to have been hung out to dry and left with unfinished tattoos. Keira bailed on my first appointment to finish 2 tattoos that she started (one partially colored and one still just line work and kinda shotty line work at that), saying that she was sick, without giving any real notice (didnt find out she was out for the day until I arrived at the shop for the tattoo), she then rescheduled me for a day I had to work, said that she would reschedule me for a day that would work for me and then never contacted me again. I have tried contacting the shop directly, and through directly messaging the artist, and have not received any contact back. Keira used to have a high reputation like her mother, but recently I have heard and read many people saying she just ghosts them and leaves them with unfinished work, much like she did to me. I don't support artist who leave people out to try like this and neither should you. Maybe look for another, more consistent place. read more

Shar is an actual goddess!! I went here about a month ago to get my septum pierced, so far so great. I was daunted at first by the idea of getting a facial piercing, but this is by far the easiest and best healed piercing I have ever gotten! Shar and Carala are so professional and fun. She made sure that my nose had a good "sweet spot" so that the jewelry would look great and that it wouldn't be painful. I've known Mike P for a very long time, (fifth grade to be exact) and as long as I've known him he had always been doodling on homework or binders. Always appreciated his talent. And I was nothing short of amazed at the talent and progress that he had made, I thought, how could he get any better?! I want to first start by saying that everyone there is super nice & that none of my piercings are from them however the jewelry I'm wearing is from their store. They always fit me in to change out my jewelry for something new. My recent visit was a couple of weeks ago (I no longer live in the area) and I went to change one of my cartilage hoops to an opal gold. I asked for the same one above the one I was changing and they didn't actually have any (the lady said they had to make an order) once they knew I didn't live in town they played around with what they had to make one for me. SUPER GRATEFUL! The first one they put in was too tight and the guy struggled to get it out of my ear. He grabbed another and made it work. Fast forward to last week, my 6+ year old piercing is swollen, pissed off, and hurts. I didn't think anything of it when it was changed but they sized up compared to what was in my ear for the last 6+ years and now it feels like a new piercing, the thickness of the hoop is bigger than my other cartilage piercing & I had them all sized the same. Even when I got the piercings my ear wasn't this red. This is the first time orof five jewelry charges that this has happened and I don't think it was on purpose but I just recommend paying close attention to the size of jewelry they're putting in. Also my first gold opal I bought has turned silver, I like both looks so I don't mind but something to consider when you're choosing based on how it looks in that moment. I still highly recommend them because like I said everyone there is super nice just be cautious. Update: my piercing is now infected (white puss coming out & bleeding when I clean it) and even more swollen than the day I wrote this. read more

BEAUTIFUL 5star work but while she was tattooing she drank 2 tall can beers which is VERY inappropriate for a professional shop. Part of my ink faded once it healed so I came in for a touch up (6mo wait) on my $400 tattoo, she was very angry to touch up her own work because I was not getting another tattoo therefore she is not making money. From the very first phone call, Bombshell Tattoo was amazing. It was very easy to set up an appointment, and I was able to get the ball rolling on my tattoo by sending a facebook message of what I wanted. Vanessa then replied that she could definitely work with what I sent her. Vanessa, books out way far in advance, so don't be upset if its a couple of weeks. It's not her being picky, this young lady is POPULAR. However, there is a "waiting list" which I was able to get onto, and sure enough, I got an appointment super fast. The day of the appointment came, and it was a great experience. Everyone in the shop is extremely helpful and very supportive. There is literally NO judgement on any persons tattoo. If you want a tattoo of a monkey wearing a beanie while riding a tri-cycle, that monkey is gonna look awesome. You will not be ridiculed for it. Vanessa works fast and has a great demeanor about her. She has been in the game for a long time and she definitely knows what she is doing. This is my 7th tattoo overall, but the first with her, and I think its the best experience that I have had. I really need to get in here again and get more ink done. I had to get a tattoo fixed here because a different artist from a different studio did a hack job on it, and made me hate it. A friend recommended I come here,(and its not close to home either!) and I am sooo glad I did! The owner did a awesome job on fixing it, so I do not despise it anymore! I love it! Very clean studio, relaxed low-key environment. The people there are super nice. To the people complaining about the language used? are you fucking kidding? you are in a tattoo studio, not tea with your granny. I hate that tattoos (and piercings) have become the new "trend", and when you mix it with the everyone gets offended over EVERYTHING. I don't think i would like to go into one that would be so passive aggressive, "oh this will be a pain in the tooshy to cover up" just doesn't cover it.
