It's been a couple of months since my last review here. Tbh, this new time started off horribly. We were seated super quick and then nothing. I mean nothing lol. We waited for over 10 minutes before some random server walked by and asked us if we had been served...obviously not. The sad part is that I use to really like the food here, but now it is just like the service is sub par horrible. I know the whole gimmick is about the way the servers are dressed, but cmon. A last minute change in plans had me end up at Bombshells. I have to say, it was a better experience than I had expected. We did dine inside, with a clear view of the Astros game on one of the many TV screens. However the patio is large and looks like a great place to hang out too. The service was very friendly. And I noticed that they were busing and cleaning tables immediately. It was a Wednesday evening, so I was surprised when later in the evening a live DJ started up. The food was good. Not great. But good. And the portions were plenty. We took home three to-go containers. The menu is available by scanning a QR code. I ordered a 3-ingredient pizza -- and it was huge! The Southwestern Egg Rolls seem to be the standard Aramark or similar frozen appetizer, but they do give you at least two extra portions compared to most restaurants. My companion order a Pork Chop entree. The sides seemed very heavy and greasy. The cocktails are large and refreshing. I enjoyed two servings of a featured drink called The Camouflage. I would definitely come back if I wanted a casual place to watch a game, or hang with some friends. I had my first visit here on Saturday evening 8/8/20. We had a party of 9 and waited about 15 minutes before being seated. Not to bad is was very crowded. We had a great waitress I wish I could remember her name and very gorgeous and went way above and beyond to accommodate all of us. I enjoyed my food and dessert very much. I had cyclone chicken I believe that's the name it was wrapped in bacon and that apple pie was everything. I had some mixed drinks it's on the drink menu that's a pretty blue color idk the name. Anyways we sat outside close to the bar no issues. My only complaint was the menus was sticky and did not smell well. So they need a good alcohol rub down. I definitely will return!!! read more

I sat myself at the bar with three bar tenders just starring at the wall. I waited 15 minutes for someone to ask if I needed something. I purchase one beer and decided to leave. I was panning to eat here but not worth it or was going to chance it. For a business being pro Americans and veterans it all a fake just to make that dollar. Kind of like Chula's, Hooters or twin peaks. Definitely a high energy place. If you want to watch the game somewhere and be part of the excitement this would be the place. I completely agree with every one star review below. At every establishment it starts & ends with the managers. Every female manager has a HORRIBLE attitude here, so naturally everyone staffed under them falls right in line with the same horrible attitude. They walk around side eyeing, and mean mugging the customers. A year ago I would've rated this place 3 1/2- 4 stars on food and average service. All of the old, (good) employees are gone because of the toxic environment these managers have created. As a customer it's uncomfortable so I can only imagine it as an employee. There's a lot of potential for this place if they had the right people managing. Idk why the "owner" would think this is not a PERSONAL, PAYING experience?? That just proves the type of people they have running this place. Unprofessional and inexperienced. Their pasta is $25 and a shot of patron is $12 when I last visited and had a run in with their distasteful employees. My step dad, a retired police officer of 32 years, and myself were threatened and cussed out by a waitress at bombshell Katy b/c we asked for a manager earlier after waiting 15 minutes, not even knowing who she was, just to ask him if we had a waitress and if we needed to order from the bar to bring it to his attention, not to direct it at her at all since I didn't even know who this girl was. We ended up leaving and going to the better bombshell on 290 b/c she was still antagonizing us. I was a bartender for 10 years through school at 5 star resorts, college bars, fine dining, weddings, etc. She should have been reprimanded and fired. Manager said he would do an investigation, he didn't. It's been almost two weeks. They also deleted my review of what happened. We are currently talking with a lawyer. Don't go here! read more

Came in during lunch time and was able to get a seat at a booth. Me and my friend ordered the starters chicken nachos. The nachos were standard American food, pretty decent. Nothing I would crave for, but it did it's job. The Renegade pasta was ok, not alot of flavor and it came out with mushrooms (which I asked to be taken off) it was also missing shrimp, which comes with it. Although I hate sending food back, they were nice about remaking my food with the shrimp that it comes with and without the mushrooms. I ended up picking some of the meat out and eating that. I ordered the battalion appetizer and they did not have egg rolls and did not tell us. They refused to discount the plate and did not tell us they were out of egg rolls in advance. Service seems to lack training, kitchen lacking proper training, and hostess was non existent. This indicates that management is not competent. Terrible! Literally just left and went to BJs Brewhouse next door. 3 hosts greeted us and they tried to give us a high top with a elderly crane walking party member and 2 young children. We had to stop them and ask for a booth instead. So then they gave us a booth which was furthest from the door and we had to walk up steps to get there, crane walker enjoyed it. Mine you the restaurant was basically empty. Then we sat down waited over ten mins and no server! We sat patiently waiting watching all the servers and managers hanging out and chat by the kitchen and the ramp. (5 servers and 1 manager). There was probably 5 other tables with people and most were sitting with no drinks and no server checking on them. We finally get up begin to leave and a server comes over and says oh are you all leaving? I tell her yes we waiting for awhile and no one came to help us. She says yeah I saw that and was just about to ask. Obviously, there was ten others standing with you as well and no one thought to ask earlier or help the other 5 parties in our area? The reviews for this location are accurate. Unless you like horrible service and have tons of time to waste go somewhere else. This obviously doesn't need to make money. read more
