We were driving through Sandusky to get to Chicago when we experienced issues with our vehicle. After circling around the area, we stumbled upon Carlton's Service hoping for assistance. We spoke to a man named Paul who directed us to Rall's. We thank him very much to this day for sending us to Rall's--he even called to make sure we found the place. Rall's checked out our car politely and urgently. After realizing we might have a transmission issue, one of the mechanics came in and thoroughly explained the issue. Transmissions are a pain; a very expensive one. He explained that he could flush our systems but it may not make it better, in fact it could further damage the vehicle. He said he did not feel comfortable doing work to our car that he couldn't exactly pin point. They didn't even charge us for inspecting our car. Absolutely amazing men and service! The day we picked it up the brakes starting going out on the way home and we discovered a brake line had been broke. Took the truck back and they said they didn't do it. Now, don't get me wrong, dad's truck was getting old, but when you have the brake line go out on you on your back from the service station, something just doesn't seem right. The owner started getting all mad at my father, (which not to brag, but is one of the most honest guys I know) at which point I stepped into the conversation explaining that yes, the truck was old, but the line JUST got broke? (and know, I wasn't even yelling lol) After being yelled at and having a finger pointed in my face, we decided it was time to leave.
