Picked up my car today from Bomnin after dropping it off for service, and I had such a great experience! Roberto helped me from start to finish and was wonderful, super attentive, helpful and made the whole process easy. The service and treatment from everyone there was excellent. My loaner was brand spanking new, and they even have a fantastic little lounge with great snacks and beverages while you wait. I love free snacks!!! For being a "higher end" car company this service center has the worst service I've ever received. There's never a time I have gone that I have not had an issue. I work (as most people do) and they make it literally impossible to take out a loaner, which to me makes no sense as a lease a car with them... not to mention the fact that in the last two times I've taken my car for service it has left with a problem that never existed. Today I'm stuck canceling everything that needed to get done because my 12v battery is not working .. but my car was at Volvo for 2 days this past week fixing something else. So now I have to get my car towed. Figure out how to get home and tomorrow waste another day of work to figure out what's wrong with my car and pray to god there's a loaner available. The carelessness is beyond belief. The lack of urgency is even worse. I feel bad for my service agent as he is very sweet. Nothing wrong on his part. read more

When I showed up to have my struts replaced, I was informed my car was no longer under warranty due to the mileage, even after the rep I spoke to over the phone confirmed that I was still covered. I was frustrated, but my service advisor, Robert, got in touch with Volvo, and they agreed to cover my struts even out of warranty. Grateful that Robert went the extra mile to ensure I'm a happy customer, he's a great communicator and very professional. They even accommodated me with a loaner car while my car was being worked on, which is a huge plus. read more

Service. Brought the car in couldn't get through to service. When did they failed to recognize they needed to order an additional part necessitated another visit and inconvenience. Failure of shuttle service. Returned the car outside filthy. Did not even have the foresight to remove the plastic and paper mat placed in the car. The service manager and service advisors at Bomnin Volvo in Dadeland are a joke. The tires that came with my wife's vehicle began to fail prematurely as a result of a manufacturer defect - pieces of rubber from the tires were breaking off. If I had to describe it, it looks like the tires were affected by dry rot or had been improperly stored prior to installation. Initially, I took the vehicle to one of the local Pirelli authorized tire dealers. The individual that looked at the tires there said that the tires definitely had a craftsmanship defect. While he could have easily sold me a set of replacement tires, he advised me to take the vehicle back to the dealer and ask them to look at the tires. He said they should be covered under the manufacturer's warranty. When I brought the vehicle in to Bomnin, the first service advisor that greeted me (I believe his name was Frank or Robert) inspected the tires and agreed that the wear on the tires was not normal, and that he had been seeing this more and more lately. He asked me for my information and looked up the service history. He then said it was odd because we had just brought the vehicle in for service in the past 2 weeks, and nothing was noted about the tires in the last service report (or the one prior). I was then past off to a young lady, who is our "assigned service advisor" and had attended my wife on the last service visit. She went out and visually inspected the tires and said, "oh yeah, this is normal wear and tear." I laughed for a second and said you can't be serious. What about this is normal to you? She said she has been seeing this more and more and that it was perfectly normal. That the wear and tear is normal. Mind you, I'm old enough to be this young lady's father and haven't seen tires come apart like this in my 50+ years of existence. Off to the service manager - I believe his name is Luis. Same story, "this is normal" and not a defect of the tire. Then the next guy comes, service director (didn't catch his name), and he repeats the same story... Yep this is normal. I respectfully disagree with this being normal, but to no avail. Just because you say something is normal, think it is normal, and repeat it is normal, doesn't make it normal. If that was the case nothing would be and abnormal. I'm not a tire expert, but I know a defect when I see one. In addition, the tire expert and the first advisor I met at the dealership definitely said it was a defect. If this was normal, why wasn't this noted in the most recent service report? After going back and forth and getting nowhere, I pivoted and said fine are you willing to do something for me on a set of 4 new tires? Sure, says Luis. Let me send this to our tire representative and give me a few days to get back to you. Fast forward a week and I call and speak to our "assigned service advisor" and she says, "oh, it's a great thing you called. I finally heard back from the tire rep yesterday and there's nothing they can do." I said okay, but what about working with me on a set of 4 new tires and giving me a special price? "Yeah, no. Sorry. My manager said there's nothing we can do." No problem, can you please have him call me back and also, send me a copy of the last service report where you performed the required service and inspections on the vehicle? "Yes. Let me have you email and my manager is going to get right back to you" Hours later and no phone call and no email... still waiting. Unfortunately, experiences like these downgrade the customer experience. This is my 3rd Volvo and probably my last. I will be buying 4 new tires, just not from Bomnin Volvo. And honestly, I will probably look at trading in the vehicle for a different brand and dealership that stands behind the products they sell and service, and actually values their customers. read more

Wasn't the best experience. The salesperson was ver nice and knowledgeable but the manager/dealership tried to take advantage of us by offering a real low trade in price but then acting like they were giving us such a great discount on the new car. They just played with the numbers and then took the paper when we said we needed to think about it. We had gone to a smaller Volvo dealership up in North Miami just the day before and they had let us keep their offer in writing. It's always nice to compare but honesty always wins me over. So, we went back to the other place. Bomnin is big but they only had one new car that we were interested in and the mobile trailer office just doesn't feel like Volvo quality. Although, the salesman was nice, we were just wanting a more upfront and respectful approach. We bought our Volvo from the classy dealership in North Miami instead. read more

Unfortunately, unable to give a 0 out of 5 - called multiple times to get information on Volvo XC90, but never got a call back. I always got the response of we are busy and will call you back. I tried for multiple days. I even got a call from Volvo Corporate, and they tried multiple times with no success. Very pleasant, very detail oriented, very punctual, did exactly what he promised, called back more than once exactly when promised, kept me updated, and explained every step simply and to the point. After a pretty seamless car purchasing experience the headaches with this dealership begin when the vehicle is in need of service. After two months of owning a 2022 Volvo, my car has two error messages on the screen reading "SOS service requested" and "battery critical charging fault." Someone from Volvo roadside assistance comes to our home to help us because the car is dead but tells us the car needs to be towed to our Volvo dealership for repairs. I call Bomnin Volvo service center and explain the situation that our car is not operational and the response I get from the service center is "let me see when I can get an appointment"; soonest appointment was two days away. The service agent tells me there's nothing they can do for me. She states they do not provide loaner vehicles when the car is being serviced. When we purchased this vehicle, our sales agent Jose Rodriguez, assured anytime the car is brought in for service you are given a loaner. When I explain to the service agent I drive 40 miles everyday round trip to and from work, her solution was "you're going to have to figure something out, we only provide a courtesy shuttle for a two mile radius." What kind of unprofessional response is that??? Plus we were lied to at the time of purchase as we have come to learn of it, they do not offer courtesy vehicles so not only am I out of a car now I'm stuck paying $100 is Uber daily just to get to and from work. Stay away and pick ANY other dealership as Bomnin is only after your money and do not respond to unforeseen operational issues with their vehicles after only two months of ownership. read more

Everything! Service sucks even with appointment. Ask for a loaner and it's easier to hit the lotto. They make it very difficult. The people are very nice and apologetic for the mess and chaos they and their system create. If the service wasn't free I wouldn't take my lease there. Unethical service department. Avoid at all cost! I scheduled a service with them and asked for a loaner. I had to wait two extra weeks but was ok as I must have a vehicle at all times. I received two reminder e-mails, both stating that a loaner would be provided. When I get there, they claimed that someone left me a me a message saying there was no loaner available. I NEVER received a phone call or message. I showed the p o s manager my call and voicemail list. No calls from Bomnin. Also showed him the two e-mails from Bomnin but it didn't matter. He said I could wait for it. I said that was impossible as I had to pick up my son from school. The p o s manager just looked at me with a blank expression. I took my keys and left. Went to David's Volvo to service my car and was treated with respect but ended up paying about 3 K for service, repairs and a SUV rental. So miss Deal Volvo!
