Dr. Oppenheimer (the senior) was the best eye doctor I've ever been to in 4 decades. We had such a great conversation. (thank you!) And they adjusted my new contacts after a fitting to ensure I could see as clearly as possible. That was the first time any eye doctor or their associates had ever done that. You always wonder after the dozens of "Which is clearer? 1 or 2?" if you got it right because your eyes start tearing, and things that are really clear go blurry. This was the original company I purchased my Maui Jim's from but in another state in 2010. The manager, Shana was extremely professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming I felt right at home. We were greeted by a salesperson by the name of Sharon (red head with glasses) SUCH a great salesperson friendly, patient so welcoming my mom bought a pair of glasses she really helped us out in finding exactly what we wanted. I saw this store shortly after it opened on Duval Street. I walked in to look at a really good…read morequality pair sunglasses. I found a great pair of Oliver Peoples Sunglasses and was told I could have them in less then 2 weeks (she had to order the prescription lenses for them). So I said OK. 2 weeks and over $400 later, they were not ready. The owner is nice enough to give me a courtesy call and said they should ready in a week. So I go down to her shop to see if they are ready after about 3 weeks, and wouldn't you know it. The store is closed. The owner is out really sick for about 4 days. To make this long story kind of shorter, she finally calls and says they are ready after almost 2 months. I go pick them up and she says bring them in when you have an hour available and I can put a trim on the sides so the lenses blend in better with the frames. At that point I was ready to tell her to give me a refund, so I said for her to keep the glasses and I will pick them up the following day, when they are truly finished. She is currently located on Fleming Street. This is her 3rd store front location in less than 3 years. I don't think I will be buying from her any more. I had to go back once already because the lens popped out and I need to go back to her again for the same problem.
