I had read a few reviews where customers had complained about the services so I was a bit wary. But there was absolutely zero need! Everyone from the moment I walked in, until the moment I walked out, was extremely friendly, efficient, and totally accommodating. Dr. Oppenheimer (the senior) was the best eye doctor I've ever been to in 4 decades. We had such a great conversation. (thank you!) And they adjusted my new contacts after a fitting to ensure I could see as clearly as possible. That was the first time any eye doctor or their associates had ever done that. You always wonder after the dozens of "Which is clearer? 1 or 2?" if you got it right because your eyes start tearing, and things that are really clear go blurry. LOL --- but checking after the contact fit, and figuring out I needed a slightly different strength was amazing! YES! I highly recommend Oppenheimer Eye Clinic! It's very sunny here on the island and I knew I couldn't be a day without sunglasses, so I stopped by Sunglass Hut on Duval Street. This was the original company I purchased my Maui Jim's from but in another state in 2010. The manager, Shana was extremely professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming I felt right at home. Within 15 minutes I was out the door with a new pair of sunglasses! If you need sunglasses and you're on the island, this is the only store you want to go to! We were just visiting from Miami and were doing some window shopping. We were greeted by a salesperson by the name of Sharon (red head with glasses) SUCH a great salesperson friendly, patient so welcoming my mom bought a pair of glasses she really helped us out in finding exactly what we wanted. She even recommended a great restaurant that was around the area and gave us tips on what to eat. She was awesome!!!! Seriously a pleasure and hopefully she is recognized for her strong work. I suspect they're inflating the list price and then discounting it back down to near the real list price. The list price of sunglasses I wanted to buy is $240 (they're unusual enough to make them easy to find on the internet). The store quoted me a list price of $315, less a 20% discount, $239. My 20% discount was more like $1. The salesperson said that giving out the model number would violate company policy. Silly. Moral of the story: Don't impulse buy from this store. Do your homework. Ask for the model number. Check the price she gives you against the internet. That discount you think you're getting may actually be next to nothing. Or better yet, buy from someone else.
