The printers are often down or out of ink. They sell your information. They steal security deposits. They aggressively pressure tenants to leave positive Google reviews. No amount of free kombucha is worth having to deal with bad wifi or bad people.

My membership was terminated abruptly and unprofessionally by the manager, Alice. My daily workflow involves dictating to an AI, so I utilized the plentiful, empty phone booths to keep my business matters quiet and respect the shared space. Despite a massive surplus of these booths at all times, Alice repeatedly confronted me about using them without ever pointing to a clear rule. The final straw was an interaction in the communal kitchen where she raised her voice over the phone booth issue, snatched a snack out of my hand, asked bizarrely irrelevant personal questions, and abruptly kicked me out. She instructed an employee to escort me out (he was very professional despite the awkwardness). You want a coworking space where you can focus, not one where you have to navigate an unpredictable manager. Skip this one.

It was a pleasure walking through the space and it also had some prime spots of snap chatting and selfies! Ha! I actually live closer to the Flatbush location and I have yet to check it out. But I would like to if they have an upcoming event. There's a staircase and also elevators in here. There's no fancy entrance, just a warm welcoming face at reception. And that's all right with me. She loves her members and her members love her. You can tell that the entire community, while a lot of them work for many different companies, feel like they are a part of a bigger team. The highlights from Industrious (similar to some of the other locations I've seen) were certainly the community, hospitality, and design. There was breakfast from a local boutique bakery, locally roasted coffee, fruit water, and afternoon snacks every day. And it was all included! It was so nice to be able to just work out of the space and have access to everything I needed. I felt like I was in a premium hotel. Not to mention a ROOFTOP deck in New York? Who am I, Beyonce?! Speaking of the rooftop, lucky for me I was there for one of their events to kick off their Wellness Month. The event was Oysters & Rose on Friday afternoon (see pictures) - holy buckets this was AMAZING. The freshest oysters I've ever tasted, rose, cheese plates, charcuterie boards, desserts, chair massages, colorpuncture, and more! So many people came out and I got a chance to chat with a ton of people who had such wonderful things to say. He's often gone out of his way to help us with our needs like giving us an locker when we needed to store things overnight. 2. The amenities are very nice as well - there is free coffee and tea, clean plates and utensils for members to use, etc. it's all very clean, bathrooms especially. The decoration here is fantastic - almost feels like your working in an instagram place photo. Lots of attention to small details. 3. There are two sections, a quite work area and a separate group work area, which is great since our team can talk freely without worrying about upsetting anyone. There are also two conference rooms (large and small) as well as two phone booths (again large and small).
