There's still hair everywhere and the top looks like a bite got taken out of it. Sign said $40 for a men's cut, he charged me $50. Long wait (30-45 minutes) when I walked in on a Friday morning. Added my name to whiteboard and walked down street to Great Harvest Company for a coffee. Seating inside was full, so I couldn't have waited even if I wanted to. Came back in 40 minutes and they were ready for me. Old School vibe kinda place right on Bond Street. Depending on when you go, street parking will be ok in best case, forget about it in worst case. Weekends closer to the latter. Anyway, got a great clipper cut (what I asked for) with the details of eyebrow trim and straight razor neck shave rounding out my great experience. read more

Brad Mills cut our 13 year olds hair today and was AMAZING. Great guy, great service, great conversation. He treated customers who came in with respect and I also liked that he acknowledged the presence of those waiting. Offering beer and also letting a customer use his phone charger. I feel like customer service and just being a nice human in general is hard to come by these days. Went by their Barber Shop yesterday, was lucky enough to get my fade/cut done by Brad! I'm originally from New Orleans so I'm definitely no stranger to being cut by the best of the best in this business! I must say though,, this is undoubtedly the best fade/cut that I have ever had!!! Nick is a great barber. I was visiting Bend, OR from Houston and needed a haircut. Bond has a walk-in waiting list so I waited for the next available barber. I was lucky to get Nick. This place is exactly as advertised: hair cuts, more than enough options for a beverage if you wish to partake, and enough televisions to watch whatever game you were hoping to catch. There's enough of a variety of stylist/barbers to match you up with someone who can get your cut right. Don't forget to put your name in the board when you come in, hang out and listen to the relatively lively banter, and get your ears lowered. Good times all around. Can it get any better?! Bond Street Barber Shop offers great local beers (I enjoyed Ten Barrell's Black during my haircut) and professional haircuts in a welcoming and casual space. My haircut took about 15 minutes, enough time for me to enjoy my beer, and the barber busted out a straight razor to clean up my neck after using scissors for the majority of my haircut. The only complaint I have is that $18 is a bit steep for a barber-shop cut, but once factoring in the friendly, professional, service and great beer the experience was a great value. read more

Usually I love this place and have been goin for years. One barber there I always try to avoid but sometimes get. Yesterday drew the line. Dude jacks prices higher than shop and other barbers standards and can't even do a simple fade (screwed it up every time) then complains about the tip (better than 20%). I generally try and not write reviews because we all have different tolerances for what's acceptable, but this is the third time this has happened to me so just some feedback for the owner. All the barbers are pretty good and will give you what you want as far as haircuts go. My problem is with the signup board. No one really regulates it and it's more of a free-for-all. Usually I just sit outside on the bench and someone will call out my name. Did the same thing I normally do, but this time after 45 mins, no one called my name so I went and checked on the white board and realized it had been erased clean. Names were put on it of people that came after me. I don't believe there's some devious plot against me or some other customer is insidious, but it's the general fog of confusion that makes me want to not go back. Am I going to get a haircut today? Am I feeling lucky? Who knows! I'm trying to give you money, maybe don't make it as confusing for customers? There's many ways this can be remedied, like any type of software that most barbershops or hair salons use, or even a clipboard that an employee controls. Seems fairly archaic to have a signup board that no employee handles. Just some feedback for the owner, but if it persists then I probably won't come back. Time is too valuable to guess whether or not I'm going to get a haircut. read more

My husband got his hair cut here yesterday and will never go here again. They had really bad customer service and on top of that the guy who cut his hair nicked his ear so bad that a customer who was waiting there with her kids pointed out that he was bleeding and then left before they got their haircuts. Instead of apologizing he asked my husband if he was on blood thinners because of the amount of blood that was pouring down his ear. I got the best buzz cut of my life here! :) My barber's name was Travis. My prior buzz came out kind of uneven, and my home-cut buzz before that was SUPER uneven, and it was driving me nuts because I am a sensitive daffodil :) and I hate the feeling of the different lengths in the breeze and when I walk. It had been months since it was all one length. So, I asked for a 4 all over with a little taper at the back and above my ears, and I politely begged him, please: if nothing else, please let it be all one length. Travis kind of LOL'ed and was like no girl I gotchu. Here's where the best buzz cut ever part comes in!: so, Travis takes it down to a 4 all over, gets rid of the little hair pieces, TAKES HAIR GEL and rubs it all over so all the hair stands straight up.... and buzzes it again. BE STILL MY HEART. It is the most even and beautiful fcking buzz of all time and it made my little heart sing. Thanks again Travis!! The place is sunny and bright and at least two or three people greeted me when I arrived and offered me drinks and candy. I was a walk-in so I put my name on the dry-erase board, left for a bit, and when I came back they got me right in! Oh and whatever products they use (maybe a dusting powder? I was in town for a wedding. Saw the reviews and went to check it out. Right off the bat, upon entering I was offered a beer, Bloody Mary, tequila sunrise, or a coffee. Since it was 9am I went for the coffee. Great atmosphere. Danny cut my hair and did a great job. You can tell they only hire skilled barbers.
