I've often ended up with hair shorter than I wanted in the past, but Dani really listened to what I was asking for. She delivered a beautiful long, layered cut that felt true to my goals while still giving my hair shape and movement. Even weeks later, I'm still loving it and constantly happy with how it looks. I'm also particular about my haircut, which is a polite way of saying I know exactly what I like and notice when it is not right. Hayden gets it right every time. He listens to what I want, somehow translates my vague haircut instructions into something that actually looks good, and then does his barber magic. He is friendly, easy to talk to, and so good at what he does that I followed him to this shop from his last one. That should tell you everything. Appointments are easy to make, parking is easy, and the shop itself has a great vibe. Everyone there seems like they enjoy what they do, which makes the whole experience even better. My son now sees Hayden for his haircuts too, so apparently good barber decisions run in the family. Hayden is a great barber, a great guy, and the reason my hair still has a fighting chance. I also understand that there is a time and a place to take a hard line and when to compromise. Megan Sedres chose wrong...hence, you chose wrong. Your response shows a lack of understanding as to the situation and its tenets. I could agree with it for most people but I know my wife and so do many other people in this area. You didn't do your due diligence to contact her before (reminder call/text) or during her missed appt time. If it is a 3-hour block there was plenty of time for you all to reach out but you didn't. With regard to charging people X% of their expected service for a missed appt, that's a whole different discussion altogether. Make a policy that you all will call/message people a day prior as a 'courtesy' to remind them of their appt otherwise you will be forced to charge them a % of your over-priced services. We will happily take our business elsewhere and not direct business in your direction. Again, it was Megan Sedres' approach as well as yours that is so off-putting.
