This is a much overdue review for Charles Lomolino he has been working with my husband and I on different rental properties in CT and he has always been very professional and easy to work with. Being first time homeowners, my wife and I shopped around for a few mortgage lenders. We had a few preapprovals. We were referred to bond street. Our property was not on the VA list (we wanted to utilize a VA loan). Bond street assured that if we went with them they would be able to get a VA approval in time of the closing. Many of the other lenders were super skeptical, saying that there was not enough time. Bond street was confident. James and his team were transparent and had great communication, so we decided to stay with them. I had a lot of questions so I was consistently calling their office. If they didn't pick up they would call me back right after. We are glad we did as they kept their word and was able to get the approval in true little time we had before closing. Do yourself a favor. Go to a bank. Went with the realtor's recommendation on this. Mistake. Asked for same documentation over and over and over. Everyone there working on your case doesn't know what each other are doing. Held out to the last minute (literally less than 24 hours before closing) to know if we'd close on time or not. Sold the loan to Wells Fargo asap and made our first payment to Wells Fargo. Would have received a better rate had I gone to Wells Fargo in the first place and cut out the middle man. This experience was awful. I see others are happy; your mileage may vary. read more

Me and My Husband are newly married and have a 7 year old son. After years of working 50-60 hour weeks we finally were ready to leave the apartment life behind us and to buy a home. We were so excited to go house shopping. Our realtor was great we looked at tons of homes and found one that we could see living in. We put a offer in and were accepted. We were recommended to go to bond street. When we went there for the beginning paper work and introduction is seemed great and like we were in great hands. but as time went on we found out how unprofessional they were. We would get emails after emails of crap and then when we went into fill our paper work to get close to our closing we had to buy point. We were okay with that but then they told us to borrow money from my father in- law. we found out later from our lawyer that's a terrible look on there behave. Then when we would ask them a question they would tell us they were working on it and we would never see results. Finally our lawyer and realtor got involved. we did get our home but I would recommend going to the bank or someone else. It was a terrible experience and I never want to buy a home again!!! read more

Such a waste of time, ask for the same documentation multi time from different person, seems their team don't communicate with each other. No one pick up the phone and finally when someone does answer the call, you can never get the answer you want. Complains not only from us, also from our attorney and title company, but they would always blame that are all our fault. read more
