Extremely disappointing experience at Bondi Pizza Macquarie (Monday, 6th Oct) Went in for a quick dinner before a movie and it was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. We ordered two pumpkin salads, made it very clear (even held up two fingers), plus a glass of wine and a Pepsi. After waiting 40 minutes, only one salad came out -- and it was pathetic for almost $30: a tiny handful of rocket, two small cubes of pumpkin, and three tiny pieces of chicken. When we asked where the second salad was, the waiter said there was only one on the order. We reminded them we were short on time, and a staff member later told us the other salad would be another 5-10 minutes. We declined since we had to leave. Meanwhile, multiple staff kept bringing the wrong meals to our table, clearly lost. The manager's attitude was the worst part. While we were explaining the issue, she barely made eye contact, kept saying "yep, yep, yep" while filing menus, and offered no real apology or ownership. Her excuse? "We're busy." The place was half-empty, and staff behind the bar were chatting and drinking. All she offered was to remove the drinks from the bill -- which doesn't make up for terrible service, missing food, and total indifference. I manage a large clinic myself, and if any of my staff treated clients this way, there'd be immediate retraining. This experience ruined our evening and showed a complete lack of care, communication, and professionalism. Would not recommend Bondi Pizza Macquarie at all. Poor service, poor food, and a manager who couldn't care less. read more

The prices are a bit much, but everything we've had is good... pasta, pizzas, and desserts. Service was friendly and quick. This last time we had the new chargrilled veg & pesto rigatoni. The flavors were really nice, and overall it was a great dish! We shared it between two people are were both satisfied. read more

I've been struggling to write a review for this place for weeks now... so I'm keeping it simple today. Chilled dining. +7.5 Host/hostess are pretty cool people. +8.9 TVs around the restaurant play sporting events. +0.2 The casual atmosphere helps you settle in for a relaxed meal. +6.6 An excellent range on the menu. +7.1 Service is fast and professional. +9.16 Food is fresh and tasty. +9.8 Generous with the liquor in their cocktails. +9.61 That's a huge 58.87 out of... something. I have no idea how this point system works but it's still an amazing score! That is one thing that I will point out. The pizzas are pretty darn good. All the ingredients were definitely fresh. Bold flavours with subtle aftertastes and superb mouthfeel. We had the salt and pepper calamari for entree and it was one of the nicest I've every had. Better than at Jamie Oliver's restaurant. A bit on the pricey side but you pay for quality. I will be returning here again. read more

A bit overrated. The pizza is ok, but nothing amazing. The prices are high outside of the lunch special. The decor is nice, and they've done well to make it feel not to tacky despite being inside a shopping centre. read more

I went here for a free birthday pizza and they earned some probs for a decent pizza. Normally I'm reluctant to try non Italian pizza, but it was pretty good. Service was friendly and very fast. And that was at lunchtime. The place is a little bit loud at times, but if you get a seat at the sofa it's really cosy and you'll be fine. I got a peperoni pizza and it was cross and tasty. The price is a bit higher than some other places, but you get Buffalo mozzarella, chili oil and other fresh ingredients. So it's justified, because they put good food in. read more

I have just left your restaurant and I don't even know where to begin with the absolute disgrace the meal was. First let's begin when we ordered our meal, which the order was taken by the manager. 15 minutes went by and still no drinks had come to the table, and it was only two Pepsi maxes, nothing that needed to be made! We asked the waiter and he told us that the drinks had not been put through but he will get them out to us straight away which he did. Then another 15 minutes went by, the table behind us who ordered at the same time as us had already finished their food and still no pizzas had come to our table. Finally 40 minutes after we order, the pizzas come out and guess what the one was wrong! So we sent it back, then the manager came and told us some story about your computer systems not working and that is why. Also the pizza that was correct had a hair on it, the manager took the one piece away and we never heard another word about it, let alone replace that slice. Then another 15 minutes and still no pizza, this time someone brings a plate of hot chips to the table as complements from the restaurant and all we wanted was the pizza, again it was still being made apparently. Then another waiter comes and tells us another 5 minutes, I don't know where it takes 20 minutes to cook one pizza. We had to get up and ask where the pizza was. Finally the pizza arrives, and I have never seen a pizza look so awful in my entire life. It wasn't even the right pizza, we called the waiter and he goes what pizza is that, it was the chilli prawn, his words exactly "I have been working here for three years and I have never seen a pizza come out the oven looking like that". Not to mention the dough was still partly raw. At this stage we were so over the meal and could not be bothered waiting another half an hour for another pizza so we just ate the worst pizza of our lives. We are good customers of Bondi pizza and come on a regular basis and even bring our office staff. The only good person there was our male Asian waiter, he should probably be promoted to the manager. At this stage I don't think I will be back because by far this was the worst meal of our lives. read more

The food at Bondi pizza is nothing special. The pizza is extremely mediocre - much worse than dominos and Pizza Hut. Even the salads are quite bad. The pasta's are really nice though. The staff is friendly and hardworking. Overall I would come back just for the pasta. Wouldn't recommend the pizza though, it tastes like something you'd make at home. read more

I found the bondi pizza franchise in Macquarie Centre to be convenient and perfectly average. So far our preferred non-asian pre movie dinner choice at the centre available. Service was relatively on time and friendly, the interior was also relatively clean and decent for bondi pizza. I think compared to the other bondi pizzas we've been to, this is not the best but it's not bad. The pricing was affordable and the food was consistent to their other branches. This time we had meatball napolitana pasta, lamb salad and chorizo and flat bread entree. The chorizo dish was actually my favorite of the lot. Overall the food was decent and average in a good way though. They had many a special offer available, like if you show your movie tickets you get a free drink etc. We would probably go here ahead for a quick pre movie snack again if we weren't feeling like Asian...because that's the majority of the other options. read more

Points for Bondi Pizza for being fast, convenient and cheap lunch. To top that off the pizzas and burgers and chips are yum. Happy to recommend for a good valued lunch read more

I like pizza and salad dish here, really nice thin pizza, so delicious, highly recommend who don't like to eat big junk pizza
