There's ample room to grab a seat inside although there is also a take-away and home delivery option. When in Rome, or in this case Tuscany or to be more specific Carlingford, we always seem to do what the Italians do and over order. A pizza (or two) to share between everyone, an entree each, a main of pasta each, a dessert each(the tirimasu seems to be the most popular option) and a coffee to help digest it down. Hubby and I come here at lease once a week for lunch and tonight we tried them out for dinner. Firstly, lunch. Pizzas and Paninis are the focus. They have $5 pizza - lunch size specials which have such soft chewy dough that we just love with fresh ingredients and lots of cheesy goodness on top. We usually end up ordering margherita and hot salami plus a Nutella calzone. The Nutella calzone fresh out of the oven can burn as you just can't wait to eat it but it is so good fresh! They do have some sitting there if you can't wait but you can have them make the pizzas to order. It takes all but 5 minutes most of the time to make the lunchtime size pizzas. Haven't had the chance to try their paninis but they are reasonably priced with it priced based on how many items you want on it. Dinner- this place is pumping at night! We didn't book but came in early for dinner (6pm!). I'd suggest to book as it is so popular! They have those metre pizzas if you're interested but as we have it all the time, we thought we'd try their specials. We weren't disappointed! They don't have a standard dinner menu, it seems it's either pizzas or their specials which is how we like it. Christian seems to have his specials based on produce availability which works for us! We had full 3 course menu as we couldn't help but want all the specials. Entrees- The prawns wrapped in speck just brought out the flavoursome freshness of the prawns. It also came with some bread. The calamari and zucchini fritters were well fried. Not too oily and light. We had Tuscan pasta (Fisarmoniche pasta - had to look it up as I'd never seen it before!) with speck, Gorgonzola cheese and walnut. Sounds odd but it worked. Well balanced flavours and tasty! We also had the spaghetti marinara which had some clams, mussels, prawn and scallops. Pasta was al dente and had the seafood saltiness to it. Delicious! We couldn't resist having dessert even though we were so full! We chose the Tuscan dessert special as it was something a bit different plus the Tiramisnu. Our usual pizza chef from lunch time sold it to us when we spoke to him earlier in the evening that Christian's wife had made the Tiramisu. The tiramisu was just awesome and I'd come back just for it. Looks like they had some you could take away! The Tuscan dessert had cantuccini (biscotti) and a fig/almond tart which was the tiniest slice I'd ever seen but it was very rich so tiny for a good reason! We then decided to order a different meal from a different restaurant only to have the order from Vulcano pizza delivered just as we submitted a new order. There were items missing from the vulcano pizza order and the delivery person refused to get the missing items. Tried calling the restaurant again but no answer. We emailed menulog and asked for a refund. That took forever because they couldn't get In Contact with the restaurant. The restaurant refused to give a refund or reimburse the missing items. I spoke directly to the restaurant after hearing this decision and they asked why I waited 3 weeks to contact them. I explained that I ordered through menu log and they were waiting for a response from the restaurant . Meanwhile the woman was yelling obscenities in the background in Italian (yes, I speak Italian too) and then the guy hung up on me. When I tried calling back they wouldn't answer and then got their junior employee to talk to me and say they had gone even though I could hear what they were telling her in the background. I am absolutely disgusted in their lack of professionalism and even if I couldn't get a refund they refused to honour the missing items. The "partners" seem to be very defensive even though they have made a mistake. I followed the right protocols but was treated like crap. I don't appreciate the rudeness and will certainly not be ordering from here again. Just to be clear we have ordered from here several times before without an issue But that doesn't seem to be taken into account by the company. I have written evidence of my attempt at seeking a resolution through menulog. In spite of this they think I am wrong because I didn't call them directly. Customer service is clearly not high on their priority list when it comes to dispute resolution. Save your money and go anywhere else.

Their pizza crust is delicious, one of the best I've had from pizza places of this kind. They are a bit on the expensive side when compared to Domino's or Pizza Hut, but in the same range as Crust Pizza and tastes better too! Crust used to be my favourite in our area but they have now been topped by Secret Slice. They also offer pasta dishes, salads and dessert, and they have a nice and cosy eat in area for casual dinners with family or friends. They are open 7 days a week but only for dinner.
