We've been to Boneyard twice. Both times -fabulous! Beers excellent. Try the 38 special, out on bale fresh hopped and of course The RPM IPA. Service was great both times. Order at the counter and they bring it out. Food is also a step up from ordinary pub fare. Wings-big and juicy. White bean dip is amazing- so garlicky and live the olives on top. Burgers are great. Poke bowl superb! Cubano also exceptional. Everything we had was good.

Can't believe I hadn't review the Pub yet, we've been here many a time! If you're going out for really personal table service, don't come here. You order with your phone or at the bar. In the post-covid era, its kind of expected. The latest trip here we sat outside with our two reactive dogs, and it was between lunch and dinner so not too many people which always helps. The dogs got plenty of human attention which they love. I ordered the Phuket Fried Chicken sandwich (menu at the pub isn't what's online). It was quite good, cooked well, lots of messy sauce and slaw. It really hit the spot. Spicy and sweet. Husband ordered the buffalo chicken mac and cheese. Didn't realize it came with bleu cheese on it (yuck) but he could work around it. I tried a bite and did not like it and I usually LOVE mac and cheese. But maybe trying it after my sandwich just wasn't a good combo. Anyway! The pub is fun, lots of seating in and out, dark moody vibes inside and the "biker" look to things. Bathrooms are clean, staff is nice. Parking lot gets full easily.

My family and I absolutely loved our time at Boneyard Pub today! We sat out on the heated patio because we had a dog in our group. The patio, as stated, is heated for those chilly fall/winter days - and if you can't get a spot under the heaters - they have multiple fireplaces as well. I got the Cheeseburger and it was delicious. My husband got the nachos and my kids split the kids grilled cheese. All were pretty tasty. They were having a brewers contest the day we were there so it was quite crowded and the lines to get the flights were long - but the bartenders stayed upbeat and friendly. Overall - I do not know why I haven't been here before on my many trips from Vegas to Bend but I will definitely be back!

During our travels in the PNW, this was one of the coolest breweries that I've visited. The pub itself has several seating areas to choose from (patio, lounge area and bar). On this beautiful Bend afternoon, We stopped in and enjoyed - Boneyard nachos with chicken- nachos were loaded with toppings and this is perfect for sharing with 3-4 people Boneyard wings with Cajun dry rub and sweet chili - you can chose up to two different seasoning for your wings. Wings were great! Beers - RPM and Khu larb Thai lager Food and beers were great in addition to the friendly servers! We're planning on heading back to Bend soon and this pub is definitely on our "go-to" list !

The place is good for large groups because it has a 21+ section and a huge dining section but that is probably the only plus. The food here is really bland non of the items had any flavors. The beer was okay. They had a good stout and ok Pilsner but no hazy IPAs which is a little odd for a brewery.

Food was pretty bomb especially their burgers and shredded chicken nachos. ambiance was cool and service was really great. Very attentive. Their beers are great. Would definitely come back but I think I will hang out in the back room area versus the family dining area.

You can't pass up a "local's" special can you? We decided to not pass it up and go on Wednesday night for the special. $10 for a burger with chips, you can't go wrong. The burger was quite tasty and the selection of beers was great! I definitely like the outside seating, while it was pretty busy, we got served quickly. The only thing I was disappointed I. With was that out beers didn't come as a pint and were expensive. I guess that's the trade-off for a cheap burger.

Been on my list of Bend brewpubs to visit for a while now. Super chill vibe, a mix of sports bar and brewpub, with a great outdoor space. Some delicious beers on tap and had a nice Cubano for dinner. Check it out!

Great environment and their Pretzels are to die for. Best pretzels I've had in a long time, great service and super friendly staff!

We went in on the recommendation of a friend. We were not disappointed. The beer was fantastic and the kids had some of the boneyard sodas that were great. The food was great also. We had the Thai salad with chicken which totally hit the spot and was full of flavor. The pretzel was so great we had to order another one. Kids had grilled cheese and a corn dog that were pretty standard which is great. If you have kids then you know. The staff was very friendly, the woman that helped us was especially helpful, I should have got her name to put here. We had a great time and we will be back. I ride so the ambiance was also really fun.

Came here after mountain biking and needed a cold beer. The beer was delicious but cocktails, not so much. The food was also really good. My boyfriend said they had the best wings that he's had in Bend. They had a lot of meat and sauce on them and they gave a good amount of wings. The ranch was also pretty good. I got the poke bowl and I was surprised by how good it was! The fish tasted fresh and I liked all of the other things in the bowl, as well as the sauce. My friend got the nachos and the waitor warned us they were huge and boy was he right! They were massive! The bar inside was reallt dark but the tables ourside were nice. Service was good except they didn't clean up our plates the entire time we sat there and continued to drink beers.

Jack Waffle (jackfruit sandwich with waffle corn bread; vegan), plus side salad.

Great beer and some vegan eats available as well. This review is for the food, as I do my beer rating/reviewing on RateBeer. We were looking for a dinner spot to complement our beer tasting evening in Bend and saw that they had some vegan options. They have a jackfruit waffle sandwich that looked creative and came default vegan, so we both tried that with a side salad (instead of fries; $14 + $2 for the subbed salad). The sandwich comes on waffles that are made out of corn bread. You get a generous portion of jackfruit inside, with mayo, tomato and mixed green leaves. I liked the corn bread, but I'm not sure I was sold on this weird idea. Very heavy bread (I'm a big eater and couldn't finish my sandwich), with a bit too much mayo. The side salad was nice, coming with various veggies and nice, slightly sweet, tangy dressing. Super friendly, helpful and quick service. Our food came out in under 10 minutes. Of course, their beer is excellent, which is worth visiting for alone.

Ask the Community - Boneyard Pub

Are they back open 6/7/2020 heading into town in 2 weeks and need beer 🙂?

Yes, Boneyard has re-opened, as have most of the other brewpubs. There are still social distancing protocols, though.

After eight years, Crux is overdue for a review update. Biggest reason is that quite a few years…read moreago they expanded the place significantly, opening up the large room to the right of the bar that opens into the outdoor area. That room is equipped with restrooms, relieving one of my major complaints about a lack of facilities, as well as a second serving station complete with taps. Since then, Crux has significantly changed the outdoor area as well although I'm not certain it's an upgrade. It's a little too landscaped and way too much like a playground now. Locals have always tended to refer to Crux as 'daycare but with beer.' The last several times I've come here, the second serving station has not been in operation even though it looks to be still fully functional. Meanwhile the line to the bar serving stations is often long, sometimes almost out the door. Not sure why that is, doesn't make sense to have the capacity to more efficiently serve customers but not use it. All that said, the beer is still stellar and they continue to have a wide range of beer choices, the new(ish) large room has plentiful high-top seating (mobility challenged folks will need to venture outside), and the music is kept below ear-splitting volume. You can also sit at the bar itself although the vibe there isn't great - it's not like a neighborhood pub bar. Crux still has a kitchen. I used to order directly from them but have since transitioned to patronizing one of the several food carts outside. Being food carts, they tend to come and go so I'll not go into detail there. That said, the new Alpine Smash burger is fabulous. The other significant change in recent years has been with the location. A dispute with the property owners to the west resulted in the access road that way being closed, requiring Crux patrons to use the road coming from Second/Scott Street (or ride a bike). The west road is now open, maybe because the Jackstraw housing complex over that way is now completed and the road serves their tenants. RIP Spoken Moto.
