Lock Ness monster at the British festival on High Street.

High street is more than just an outdoor Mall. I actually rarely shop there and I rarely see people in the stores however I do see a lot of people around. It's a great place to hang out, have a picnic, spend time with your doggies, or just people watch. There's great foods at the end of high street though. You got Japanese, Thai, Korean, NY pizza, and more! It seems like there's always a new event every month too. They have different festivals throughout the year celebrating different countries, holidays, or the release of new movies. Never a dull moment at high street

Since I live nearby this is always the place to go to stroll around the Philippines. It's always clean and the bathrooms have toilet a paper something that you can't find in most malls. Bonifacio high street has everything from food, events, activities, parks, and just a sweet place to hangout There are nice parks in the area to relax in

Once in a while, there are a couple of events along High Street. Here's Nessie during the Great British Festival (weekend of 2/26/2016)

While technically a shopping area, with lots of premium retail stores, for me High Street is more of a place to meet friends and hang out. Sure, I like browsing the shops, and I've bought a few books at Fully Booked in the past, but most of the time I'm here, I'm eating with friends and family. (Ok so maybe I just like pigging out.) I find High Street to be a convenient meeting place for people who come from the northern and southern areas of Metro Manila - whenever the barkada wants to meet up, if it isn't at a friend's place somewhere in BGC, it would be here. It's a good mid point for people from QC and Parañaque. Having lots of options on where to go also helps. I remember we once had dinner in a Korean restaurant, moved to Slice because some of our (very) late comers still hadn't eaten, moved to Coffee Bean after that. Went for dessert / ice cream at Mad Marks. And somehow still ended up in Italianni's because someone suddenly craved for truffle fries. Of course we justified all that eating by saying we burned so much calories by walking around. I used to come here just to go to Fully Booked, but with new food places opening up, at least 7 coffee shops (I probably even missed some), lots of pets to look at on weekends, 2 gyms, there's a lot more to do here now. Because I work odd hours, I find that walking around here in the morning is actually pretty peaceful. I sit in a coffee shop and watch folks rushing to wherever they need to go or take a stroll in the morning sun with an iced tea or iced latte in hand. It's very different from the peak hour madness of High Street that also has its own charm- especially when folks bring their pets with them. My only beef with High Street would be the parking rates or even lack of adequate parking. I've seen more parking areas opening up, and I'm very glad for those, but wow parking rates here may get expensive, especially if you park along Lanes P or O. But that aside, I'm happy I love somewhat nearby, and will definitely keep coming back!

This isn't your usual mall here in the Philippines. It goes away from the norm of malls: Being indoors and having a lot of floors. People will feel a bit more free and outdoors in this mall. It's basically just a strip. One strip of stores and the right, and another one on the left. There's food, clothing, outdoors stuff, books, and probably most of the stores you find in the usual indoor malls. This is really good for people who like to walk while feeling the natural breeze at night. The foliage is also very pleasing to the eyes. It almost seems like a park was built in between the two strips. There's some grass where you can have a picnic and play or maybe walk your dog. It's really a different mall experience for people who are used to the huge indoor malls. The design of this mall also jives with the idea of BGC. It's easily accessible and the system was well thought of. Personally, I'd take out someone here and I'd offer a nice evening walk.

Every time I would go to High Street before, I would get dropped off at Fully Booked and I wouldn't bother checking out the entire High Street. After spending four years of college in Makati and getting bored with the malls and even the parks there, my friends and I began our love affair with High Street. We'd hop on the BGC bus in Makati and get off at High Street. We'd spend hours observing the people here, taking pictures and trying the different coffee shops. The main reason I like this place is because I don't have to worry that a guard or police will tell me to stop taking pictures. In fact, they encourage photographers to take lots of pictures. Another reason I like coming here is because it's relatively safe. I mean, don't leave you bag ready to be stolen, but generally speaking, it's a pretty safe place for kids to play, for grandmas and grandpas to take a stroll and for absent minded people like me who accidentally leave cameras on benches. The food in this place is good, exciting and new. There are lots of clubs and bars if you're into that sort of thing. I have yet to find a shop that sells cigarettes here though. And there are no convenience stores in the immediate are. Be sure to go to this place with enough money because you'll sure be tempted to buy something and most of their items including food are pricey.

The whole vibe is relaxed yet polished, and the Christmas lights this year are stunning without being over-the-top. Felt like a nice treat after a long week. Definitely five stars for me.

It even has a Roman Catholic chapel called the Chapel of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I was interested in visiting this venue because, as the name suggests, this structure was once (literally) a power plant. After the power plant was decommissioned, the structure and land were reimagined. It should be seen as part of a master planned development. It also caters to some adjacent, legacy, high-end communities. This location provided an opportunity for me to people watch; examine products and brands unfamiliar to me; and to price compare goods in the PHL, versus back home. And there seems to be more "exclusive" retailers I didn't see at other shopping centers in Makati.

When Central Square Mall was open for watching movies, my girlfriend and I decided to go watch a movie on a whim. When we got there, we got surprised that the cost of a ticket is almost double the cost of a standard one elsewhere - only to find out it's because of the 4D experience they offer (and super comfy lazy boy seating). We pretended to wait for our friends to confirm before purchasing tickets, because they were really out of our budget at the time (and we weren't going to waste 4D on a comedy film). I also hear that you can get your food delivered to you while you're inside the movie theater! Central Square has some pretty good restaurants on the top floor, especially Va Bene and Mad Mark's. My personal favorite snack, Jamaican Patties, has a kiosk present, which makes me very happy. There's also a small Family Mart on the top floor, which has a few tables and chairs for patrons to eat before or after watching the movie. The stores available here are pretty standard and also pretty high end. I'd still rather shop around the stores along High Street, mainly because of the price and the availability. Regardless, they have a variety of stores that will cater to your every (luxury) need.
