Took taxi from YUL. Driver seemed nice enough and chatted the whole way, which was fine, albeit a bit annoying as we were tired from the travels. This being said, once we got to our destination, the driver insisted on cash then insisted I gave him a bigger tip to pay for the $15 surcharge they have to pay to the airport. Everything I am going to write here is the whole truth and I swear it on my father's grave. It was our unlucky day that we ended up with the worst, foul mouthed driver I've ever encountered in my life. His unsafe driving almost got us into accidents. Driver was speeding and abruptly weaving in and out of different lanes and putting our lives in danger. Driver had the gaul to blame his recklessness on to other drivers on the road and we can obviously see who's at fault. The driver pulled over and stopped on the side of the road. We arrived in the middle of nowhere of a highway. The driver told us that according to his Tesla's GPS directions, this is the drop off address that we provided. I told him, "we are going to a hotel and middle of highways does not have address assigned." The driver once again pointed out his big screen on the dashboard that we arrived at our destination. I told him to enter the address on his personal phone google map as I was entering it on my phone. Both our phones google directions gave us different direction which was miles and miles away from where he was going to drop us off. When I paid for the ride, it was almost double the flat rate I was supposed to pay. At that point, I didn't even care. I was just so happy that we arrived at a destination where there are building structures around us. Avoid Bonjour taxi. You are better off with rideshare. read more

Yesterday at 17:00 I had trouble to get a taxi at Dorval airport after waiting in line. The dispatcher was confused and the taxis were not coming in. The taxis are not clean like they say it is. Most of the time I hope to make it safely to my home as I fear we will break down......Not impressed with an International airport. Very bad first impression when you arrive to this city. read more

We caught a bonjour taxi at the airport going downtown- for what's supposed to be a flat $41 rate for a twenty minute drive. The driver took us on 30 minute drive to laval, THEN another 30 minute drive to east Montreal then another 20 minutes to our hotel. I've used Bonjour taxis now between 5-8 times. I remember first seeing them in queue outside YUL (Dorval/Pierre Elliot Trudeau) when I exited the airport a year or so ago. I was struck by the large, boxy, white taxis with the colorful, large "BONJOUR" printed across the sides (I call them "happy cabs"). I'm not sure if this company has a contract with YUL but I usually only see Bonjour cabs there (and I travel to and from Montreal a lot). I really like how the cabs are all big and boxy and thus roomy enough for lots of luggage (and passengers, if you're in a group). My cabbies have always been great, too: efficient, know where they're going, friendly (but not overtly, in a creepy way). And the cabs have always been clean. I notice these things! I like how you can order their cabs online, in advance. When I last did so, I ordered it to arrive at 6:30am, to go to the airport. I was impressed how it arrived15 minutes early and just parked outside, waiting for me. (I don't like being late or waiting on people who are late. One of my pet peeves). What I don't like (and why I'm not giving this cab company 5 stars) has to do with their website. It's all in French and there's no way to click a button to have the site converted into English (as is the case with most Montreal-based companies' websites). My French is rusty, and I like this company so much, I really struggled to order my cab online on their website. Note to Bonjour: get your site translated into English for your out-of-town customers and tourists who don't speak French. You might get a lot more business. (I nearly gave up and went to the Atlas Taxi site). read more

reserved a taxi online for 9:30am. waited half an hour in the cold rain. Tried to call them, never answer and made me wait for more than 10 min. I ended up hanging up and calling another taxi. Around 11am taxi bonjour calls to tell me he's coming to pick me up at 11:10am. I told him it was too late, I already got another taxi. Would not recommend and will not contact them again. We're a family of 5 were going to Mexico. So, we had 2 suitcases and 4 carry-ons. Therefore, we needed a minivan to fit in with all our luggage. On their website, I booked a taxi to aeroport a week in advance and a taxi on our way back home upon arrival. I got a confirmation, but I still called them to make sure they will be on time since the trip will be in the middle of major traffic hours. They assured me that a taxi will be on time! So, the time came and we are waiting... 5-7 minutes... Nothing! I called them. They asked me do you need a taxi?! Oh well..Yes, of course! They told me that they will send one. The taxi came 35 minutes late. By the time, I got to the aeroport I was already 1.5 hrs late.. Fortunately, we made it, but I had very bad experience with this reservation... I called them next day and gave them hard time about it. They assured me that a taxi will be waiting for me in aeroport, even if my flight will be delayed. Ok ! ...So, we landed tired, exhausted with connecting flight but on time... Guess what?! The Bonjour taxi was waiting for us ? Of course, not! This time, I had enough and took first available cab to get home. Well, I will never use their service again, never! The robot advised me that they connect me to an agent. Then, same robot said nobody is available and hung up on me. Tried several times, same experience. Sent them an email to cancel, hopefully they get it and will not send a taxi. Very unreliable company. read more

I took this taxi from the Montreal Airport and I paid with visa and got my receipt but when I looked on my actual visa statment it was $12 higher. The driver scammed me and when I emailed the company they responded with they couldn't do anything about it and they blocked my email after that. I have filed a police report and reported it to Montreal Taxi Bureau as well. read more

I took Bonjour Taxi from Trudeau airport yesterday. The Taxi driver was not nice at all and when I got home I gave him cash to pay the fair. He deducted the 15% tip without asking me if I wanted to give him tip. He threw my bags at the side of the road and when I asked him to help me put one of them in front of the lift of my apartment he just said No in a rude manner and left.
