It would also be nice if they opened a bit earlier. We did enjoy the pinball area across the way, which was much better overall, but even there, a few machines were completely out of order. Overall, it's a fun idea and has charm, but there's definitely room for major improvement in maintenance, space, cleanliness, and functionality. With some updates, this could be a really great spot.

However, we have only been to Flipz for birthday parties, YAY! It's a great little place to have a birthday party! We even hosted my daughter's birthday party here. They offer 1 1/2 hour long parties, for 10 children, for $108 and $50 non-refundable deposit. I believe this deposit can go towards your party cost, but I can't remember for sure. The parties are 1 hour on the floor and 30 minutes in the party room. The floor includes rock climbing, a rope swing, and obstacle course, a 40 ft long trampoline, the foam pit, and balance beems. The usually have one to two staff members on hand to "supervise" the children or help if they need it. The party room isn't really a room, it's an open space, divided into two "areas" above the gymnastics floor. They have two banquet tables per "area" with enough chairs for 10-12 people. They have bleachers behind the tables for additional seating. The plus is you can bring in any food you want: pizza, sandwiches, cake, homemade, or whatever floats your boat, really. It's a rather large facility located on the north side of Columbia, towards Lake of the Woods area and their parking lot is pretty small. The facility is clean and the staff is friendly. If you are looking for an alternate option for a child's birthday party, this is a nice choice to have available.

It is easy to have a great time there, you can bowl and then continue your visit with games that you can play alone and with friends. A good thing about the bowling lanes is that the bumpers can go up and down for each bowler. Any younger children can use the bumpers and they can go right back down for anyone who doesn't need them, and without hassle too! A downside to bowling is that it is hard to find the lighter bowling balls, I could find plenty of balls over 12 pounds, but almost nothing under that. I found them eventually but it was not easy. SERVICE- All employees I encountered were very kind and friendly. I had no problem whatsoever with any of the service. OVERALL- Overall, I would definitely recommend the Fulton Bowling Center if you want to have a fun night! There are lots of food and drinks available, bowling, and many fun games.
