Both of them are rude and I met them on separate occasions today. Just put the icing on the cake I walked in. I told her I needed to print my ID was down. She questioned me directly to cut me off. What do you want? you trying to do just rude and unwelcoming I took a deep breath and I looked at her in her face and I said go ahead and work out and ignore her. I went and walked and tried to put it behind me as I went into the workout room. The smell was awful. I stayed there about seven minutes and I left. I looked in the pool area. It didn't look clean I get in. They're under construction so as I walked in the guest locker room there is water all over the floor and every aisle in elderly people walking through the water people get dressed, talking loud in water trying to get to their lockers. It didn't seem to bother them. Maybe they're used to it, but I am not at that point. I didn't do anything else I came to do but get my book bag and leave I will not be returning and will be pulling my membership, awful awful attitude at the front desk as I watched other guests come in while she was giving me a hard time about printing ID she spoke to them friendly She was exceptionally rude and she knew it. The other lady before her that I met was the same way and she was there too and I thought I had gotten around her and got somebody new horrible horrible I will not come back.

I am grateful that people decide to come to work!!!! They have a pool, sauna, aerobics room, workout area, (free) in door walking trail- meaning you don't have to be a member to go in and walk!!! And basketball courts!! How many facilities do you know that offer anything free these days??? Ummmm none!! Lol!! I had to recognize that sometimes people choose to write reviews about the worst case scenario but try it yourself!!! And have some grace.... Paul exceeded expectations in every way imaginable. Meetings were flexible and very thorough. He…read morealways responded very promptly to any inquiries. Honestly, he helped keep me on track with all of the planning besides his own responsibilities. He made sure I had everything else lined up as well, which was really appreciated. Not only did he keep the music going all night but he also did tons of background work to make sure everything ran smoothly. He coordinated with the photographer and caterer to make the entire event run seamlessly. We had to swap out decorations in between the ceremony and receptions because it was held at the same venue and he even helped with that! I don't have a single bad thing to say about the service. He was worth every penny. All of his equipment is very high quality and most if it is wireless, which affords him a lot of flexibility to equipment location. He is very familiar with all of the equipment. Not once was there any feedback from any of the microphones or complaints about the sound being too soft or loud. The music always flowed well from one song into the next, which kept the dance floor full and active. That is not just my opinion. He was also complemented by several guests across all aspects of his work, lighting, music, coordination and general helpfulness. If I have missed something, it is safe to say that he also did that exceedingly well too. My only regret is not getting these reviews done sooner. He really does deserve it!

I paid for a bouncy house +generator rental back in APRIL of 2025 for the delivery date of August 16th @ 11am. There was a free snow cone machine included for my order because it was over $350. The first red flag was when I called 7 days before my event to confirm all of the details of my delivery & they tried to act like I was crazy for bringing up THEIR PROMOTION that was all over THEIR WEBSITE. I had to wait 2 days for a "supervisor" to confirm that the promotion was "accurate" (which again, was all over their website & Facebook page). Second red flag- at 11:00am (the delivery time) on the date of the delivery, they were not there with the bouncy house & they refused to answer the phone. I called for 2 hours straight before I got an answer. When I finally talked to someone at 1:00pm she told me the drivers were behind majorly & all deliveries were delayed an hour late. (Mind you, my delivery was now 2 hours late). So I asked why is it that the paying customer, had to call you for this update? Why haven't you all called me? She Couldn't even give a direct answer to my question, just "I don't know". Third red flag- At approximately 4:00pm (Now 5 hours late) my bouncy house rental finally arrived. He sat in the car for about 8 mins (I counted). My phone didn't ring at all. I was confused on why he would just be sitting there when he was already 5 hours late so I walked up to the van & said hey I'm right here could you go ahead & set up please. He set up & just left Like he knew something was wrong but didnt want to be questioned about it . He also Left the snow cone machine & the materials for it on the ground without any directions on how to use it or anything. Fourth red flag- The bouncy house had only been there 20-30mins when it STARTED FALLING ON THE CHILDREN THAT WERE INSIDE!!!! So not only did you deliver equipment 5 hours late, U DELIVERED 100% DEFECTIVE EQUIPMENT! Then once we figured out a way to keep it up (still not all the way inflated) the generator stopped working!!!! Then once we finally got the generator back started, the entire bouncy house flew all the way to busy 87th street WITH CHILDREN STILL INSIDE IT (we were at the Dan Ryan woods) BECAUSE THE DELIVERY PERSON DIDNT PUT STAKES DOWN TO SECURE IT!!!!! Fifth red flag- The snowcone machine was missing parts & was not even able to be used as well. Sixth red flag- I called them at approximately 5pm & told them they delivered defective equipment & asked them to please come pick their equipment up ASAP & issue every penny I spent with them back to my account. At 6:50, they still hadn't come to pick their items up. (Everyone HAS to be out of the forest preserve by 7:30pm) She Wouldn't answer the phone, wouldn't text back. The pick up time was originally 7pm but since the equipment didn't even work they were called at 5pm & told to come ASAP to pick up their equipment!!!! At 9pm that same night I rode past the park just to see if they picked up the items & they still hadn't!!!! Seventh red flag- On the next day (Sunday), I received several calls from the Forest preserve about a bouncy house & generator still being on their property & threatning to charge us for a extra day. I really couldn't believe it. So I called & called & called Shaneka (the owner of jump & jam) & she would not answer any of my calls. All of my texts begging her to please pick her items up said "delivered" but I never got any response. Family members started calling her for me & she answered every one of their calls & told my auntie they would get it by 3pm but never showed up! How could you just ignore a paying customer that is literally BEGGING you to come & get YOUR EQUIPMENT? That doesnt even sound right! Fast forward to today, August 27th (almost 2 weeks after the rental) & she's reporting that we "stole" her equipment. I just got off the phone with the officer that called me about it 10 mins ago & he even LAUGHED at you & said you really just wasted his time! Like baby yall really tried it but yall got the RIGHT ONE! Yall better get it together, it's gotta be COKE! GO PLAY WITH SOMEBODY ELSE!!! You let your equipment sit on 87th & Damen for almost 2 dam weeks! Did you REALLY think it would still be there 14 days later!!??? I'm sure whoever "stole" it is upset they even wasted their time "stealing" items that DONT EVEN WORK!!! I will NEVER support this "black" unprofessional behavior or business EVER again & I hope yall dont waste yall hard earned $ or your valuable time trying to like I did!!! The toddler area (6 and under) doesn't give much of anything either - a small bounce house and 2 Little Tike slides. Again you get what you pay for bc open play is only $12. My toddler boy and I were there for 15min tops before leaving. No offense to those that frequent with their children bc there's obviously some that do enjoy it but when it comes to indoor family entertainment, I look at cleanliness, what they offer, concession and all. Just not my cup of tea for what I want my family to experience.
