Nice looking play place for the kids BUT if you have a non-participant kid or teenager that is coming for support but does not get on any of the inflatables you have to pay full price for them. I wouldn't have a problem paying half the price, but why would I pay $18 for my daughter to bench warm. Definitely will find another venue next year for my niece birthday celebration with family. AVOID THIS UNPROFESSIONAL SORRY ASŚ EXCUSE OF A "BUSINESS" Jump N' Jam Inflatables & Jump N' Jam Playland at ALL costs‼‼‼ They may be a few dollars cheaper than other bouncy house rental companies but just go ahead & spend the few extra dollars at a different rental company or you will regret it! I paid for a bouncy house +generator rental back in APRIL of 2025 for the delivery date of August 16th @ 11am. There was a free snow cone machine included for my order because it was over $350. The first red flag was when I called 7 days before my event to confirm all of the details of my delivery & they tried to act like I was crazy for bringing up THEIR PROMOTION that was all over THEIR WEBSITE. I had to wait 2 days for a "supervisor" to confirm that the promotion was "accurate" (which again, was all over their website & Facebook page). Second red flag- at 11:00am (the delivery time) on the date of the delivery, they were not there with the bouncy house & they refused to answer the phone. I called for 2 hours straight before I got an answer. When I finally talked to someone at 1:00pm she told me the drivers were behind majorly & all deliveries were delayed an hour late. (Mind you, my delivery was now 2 hours late). So I asked why is it that the paying customer, had to call you for this update? Why haven't you all called me? She Couldn't even give a direct answer to my question, just "I don't know". Third red flag- At approximately 4:00pm (Now 5 hours late) my bouncy house rental finally arrived. He sat in the car for about 8 mins (I counted). My phone didn't ring at all. I was confused on why he would just be sitting there when he was already 5 hours late so I walked up to the van & said hey I'm right here could you go ahead & set up please. He set up & just left Like he knew something was wrong but didnt want to be questioned about it . He also Left the snow cone machine & the materials for it on the ground without any directions on how to use it or anything. Fourth red flag- The bouncy house had only been there 20-30mins when it STARTED FALLING ON THE CHILDREN THAT WERE INSIDE!!!! So not only did you deliver equipment 5 hours late, U DELIVERED 100% DEFECTIVE EQUIPMENT! Then once we figured out a way to keep it up (still not all the way inflated) the generator stopped working!!!! Then once we finally got the generator back started, the entire bouncy house flew all the way to busy 87th street WITH CHILDREN STILL INSIDE IT (we were at the Dan Ryan woods) BECAUSE THE DELIVERY PERSON DIDNT PUT STAKES DOWN TO SECURE IT!!!!! Fifth red flag- The snowcone machine was missing parts & was not even able to be used as well. Sixth red flag- I called them at approximately 5pm & told them they delivered defective equipment & asked them to please come pick their equipment up ASAP & issue every penny I spent with them back to my account. At 6:50, they still hadn't come to pick their items up. (Everyone HAS to be out of the forest preserve by 7:30pm) She Wouldn't answer the phone, wouldn't text back. The pick up time was originally 7pm but since the equipment didn't even work they were called at 5pm & told to come ASAP to pick up their equipment!!!! At 9pm that same night I rode past the park just to see if they picked up the items & they still hadn't!!!! Seventh red flag- On the next day (Sunday), I received several calls from the Forest preserve about a bouncy house & generator still being on their property & threatning to charge us for a extra day. I really couldn't believe it. So I called & called & called Shaneka (the owner of jump & jam) & she would not answer any of my calls. All of my texts begging her to please pick her items up said "delivered" but I never got any response. Family members started calling her for me & she answered every one of their calls & told my auntie they would get it by 3pm but never showed up! How could you just ignore a paying customer that is literally BEGGING you to come & get YOUR EQUIPMENT? That doesnt even sound right! Fast forward to today, August 27th (almost 2 weeks after the rental) & she's reporting that we "stole" her equipment. I just got off the phone with the officer that called me about it 10 mins ago & he even LAUGHED at you & said you really just wasted his time! Like baby yall really tried it but yall got the RIGHT ONE! Yall better get it together, it's gotta be COKE! GO PLAY WITH SOMEBODY ELSE!!! You let your equipment sit on 87th & Damen for almost 2 dam weeks! Did you REALLY think it would still be there 14 days later!!??? I'm sure whoever "stole" it is upset they even wasted their time "stealing" items that DONT EVEN WORK!!! My niece had her 3rd birthday at Jump N' Jam Playland. While my children and I did enjoy the location, my sister-in-law did tell me that she wouldn't recommend anyone else throwing a party there as it was very unorganized. It seemed to me that they were understaffed. They had to shut down the restaurant portion for an hour because they said they had too many orders to accommodate at the time. Her party was from 5-7pm so there were a lot of families there around that time. The pizza was your typical cardboard flavored pizza that they have at these children's places. But the icees and chicken strips were a hit. The room itself was large enough to fit about 30 of her family and friends. The theme of her party was Minions and I did think it was cute as well as thoughtful for them to put the Minions on the tv screen in her room. The kids seemed to enjoy that as well. The location does not provide decorations but they do write the child's name on the sign outside of their designated room. The room also offers a personal shoe shelf for the kids to use while they play. The facility itself was fun for all ages. They of course have the inflatables for the children to jump and slide on located in the large area in the middle. However the also offer virtual reality rides and arcade games as well. Our family favorite was the punching machine in the back room. We took turns trying to beat my younger brother who had the highest score on the machine at the time. You do need cash for the token machine for all the arcade games. The change machine takes $5 as the highest payment allowed. This facility also offers a basketball hoop and a virtual reality room. The balls for the basketball hoop were pretty deflated which made them hard to bounce. We were also unable to try the VR room as it was out of order during our visit. We were able to ride the VR rides they have located in the front of the facility and they were fun however I would recommend them getting better prices or a flat rate to try all of the vr rides. All in all, I would recommend coming here earlier in the day before the large crowds. The staff were as friendly and as attentive as the could be. As I stated they did seem to be understaffed and overwhelmed when we were there. However, everyone apart of our party especially the children had a wonderful time. We were waiting for the next session and the music was off, when they turned it back on it was blaring from a speaker in the picnic area. I went to a representative a requested if they could turn the volume down is so so loud because we have children in here and their hearing is still developing and the parents can't hold a conversation without screaming, the response I received was we turned it down but the volume was still super high, I requesting the owners name/ district manager info and will contact them on Monday about the unprofessionalism in their establishment and I will not be returning because no one working during that timeframe was not concerned with resolving the issue so here we are, so now I need to speak another representative over them to get heard when it was simple. read more

Staff #1 told me they can't offer the Groupon on Wednesdays. Staff #2 told me they didn't post or authorize Groupon to promote for them and they don't get paid for it. Manager told me they did advertise on Groupon but because Groupon put a deal on top of their deal they wouldn't honor it. I was told to buy the $5 wristbands today and reach out to Groupon for a refund. Which fine print says you can use the value you spent which for me was $11.70 which would cover their wristbands but they didn't want to use the Groupon at all. I brought my kids (11,8,1) here for Halloween. Although there really isn't an area for toddlers my 1 yr old is fearless.with that being said. My 1 yr old took off too where the older kids was. I have to review this place because it has such mixed reviews. I'm not a fan of inflatables places overall. I think they're typically overpriced, not well managed, unsafe and unsanitary. BUT I didn't mind Jump n' Jam Playland and I went in with low expectations based on other reviews. My friend had her daughter's 3rd birthday party here. Yes, it's in an industrial park and parking isn't the greatest but that's true for most of these businesses. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The large green area where the jumpers are is a no shoe zone and the rest of the place seemed clean enough. There were times when - chasing my daughter - I had to walk on the main floor and it wasn't gross or sticky or anything. My daughter is only 2 and while she loves inflatables, I'm terrified she'll get stomped or otherwise injured. Jump n jam had one small bouncy for kids 3 years old and under that made me feel a lot better. Of course my girl like slides so she wanted to be on the bigger ones most of the time. Staff didn't do much to monitor the inflatables area for safety issues so parents did. The staff is basically kids themselves so I'm not sure they would even know how to maintain safety. This facility also offered extras like balls, tug-of-war rope, toys, a basketball hoop, face painting and characters. The birthday girl was scared of the character my friend got last year so she didn't opt for one this year. And my girl was scared of the airbrush that they use for face painting so no on that. But they both enjoyed all the playing options. The music was also really good. They had several dance parties. We were there on a Sunday afternoon yet it was thankfully not busy. Maybe 2 other parties, but once 3:30pm hit there was definitely a changeover and about 6 large parties showed up. I'm glad we were there early. I can't speak to the food prices since I was with a party. But our party and the next one over had Beggars pizza. Not sure if that was catered through the facility but if it was that's an A+ in my book. I also didn't use the bathrooms so I can't speak to the cleanliness there. The staff at Jump and Jam were so professional and accommodating as we had a ton of questions and had to make several calls regarding safety, square footage, availability of electrical sockets...and so on. The night of the event, the staff was on hand and available helping out when needed. The rooms were clean and their part of the set up was complete. Went here again since the weather was not good to play outside. Parking was good,we got a spot near the entrance. It was a little more crowded but everyone seemed to be having a good time. Big surprise! Jump zone was giving out ice cream to the kids! What a nice treat...... even grandmas that love ice cream were able to have some........yum yum. We stayed as long as a three year old could tolerate and the adults were exhausted from following and participating in all the bouncers. This is a great place to take your 2-10 year olds. Jump Zone is what it is...in a good way. If your children are like mine and they feel better and thus, behave better, when they get some fun *exercise*, then Jump Zone can be a godsend. When you're faced with an empty chilly weekend morning and don't want to watch your 14th Disney movie, Jump Zone is the way to go. For $10 per child your kiddos can play and bounce in the seven "apparatuses" inside the giant, carpeted center. From my foggy memory, there is (currently): 1) A classic, Frozen bounce house 2) A princess castle bounce house, with a small slide 3) A Batman bounce house 4) A climbing wall (with rope) with a giant slide bounce house 5) A giant slide (with stairs leading up to it) bounce house 6) A safari type maze bounce house 7) A smaller, more level bounce house for kids 3 and under My 2 and 4 year old had a great time bouncing around for an hour and then they got hungry. What a shock. Don't expect uber healthy snacks here. While I would love some fresh fruit or veggie packs, they have the not-so-terrible applesauce squeezes, Honest juice, baked chips, etc. There's also Papa John's that gets delivered on a frequent basis. The space itself is clean, open, and caters to kids of a wide age range. That's one major point to consider though...if your kids are small, proceed with caution when Jump Zone gets busy. It seems obvious, but it can be injury city when your small kid is jumping around the much bigger kids. We use Jump N Jam inflatables regularly for school based events and incentives. We have rented various bounce houses that are delivered and set up in our school gym or on the outside grass area. The staff makes the process very easy and the guys who deliver and set up are great. There is wear and tear on the bounce houses themselves but they have been in over all good condition. This is a great place to take your kids to exert their energy. We attended a 5 year old's birthday party here and it was pretty chaotic. They had four birthday parties going on at the same time as well as open gym on a Saturday. It was over run by big kids as well as little. The parties were well orchestrated. You get to play as soon as you enter and then they announce on the loud speakers when it's time to go to the party room for your birthday kid's food and cake. There is one staff member per room that helps out with cake cutting serving and cleaning etc. They do have a baby (3 and under) area. That's nice because the bouncy houses are just to hectic for the little ones. Especially during open gym. If it wasn't so crowded we probably would have enjoyed it more. Very disappointed in Jump n Jam Playland employees and management. Had a party for my 8 year old and happened to have an autistic child a part of the party. In the process of gathering all the children, the autistic child was apart of the last group of children that were brought back in to the private area (mind you, we still had time left). The employees at Jump n Jam playland took it upon themselves to retrieve all the children from the "playpit" and upon interacting with the autistic child and him being non-verbal, decided to grab him physically, (instead of finding the adult he was with and informing then to gather all of the children, as we were already in the process of) remove him from the "pit", and rip the wristband off of his wrist. Anyone with common sense that has seen these wristbands know they are pretty stringent and require a decent amount of force to remove. To add insult to injury, the employee then stated that to grab a child physically instead of retrieving an adult party was the PROTOCOL of Jump n Jam Playland. After getting the manager involved, apparently the actions taken were needed because the child is nonverbal and they did not which party he belonged to (even though he was brought back to our party by physically aggressive employees). I am disappointment in the employees, the management, and the corporate "standards" set in place by jump n jam playland in dealing with individuals with disabilities or ANY child for that matter. I have patronized this facility many times with numerous family members, but will never be back again unless a compromise is reached and the protocols for dealing with individuals with disabilities or children in any regard is addressed. Update: I would like to point out the fact that this employee/owner has stooped to the level of claiming a child committed an assault on an employee that NOT EVEN THE SECURITY GUARD COULD CONFIRM when we were there. We asked to have the tapes played back to ensure all proper steps were taken but were given the choice of calling the police or simply leaving. This establishments story has changed many times as when we were there, the child ALMOST KICKED someone....and now he has punched the employee in their stomach? The fact youre stating that it "could have gone worse had she CHOSE to react" reiterates my point that these people have not been trained efficiently and SHOULD NOT BE WORKING WITH CHIDLREN. When you are working with children (special needs or not) there are lines you do not cross and if your mental capacity can only grasp the concept of 'it's been done to me, so I'll do it back', then you, ma'am, and you're entire staff needs to be retrained and mentally evaluated as well because that is a childlike mentality that no business owner or supervisor should EVER have ESPECIALLY when working with kids. And now, that you and your employees have TWICE verbally accused my child of something that could not or WOULD NOT be confirmed and the statements from yourself and your employees have been consistently changing, you will be hearing from my attorney for defamation of character. I'll take my 'victim' statement there since your establishment doesnt seem to care about the basic rights of individuals (those with needs or not). read more

I wanted to surprise my granddaughter by having a friend dress up as a character from books she's written. The manager Yolanda tells me that I can't have her come in because they have characters. Well they didn't have this character and she was only coming in to give my grand baby her gift which was the books & take some pictures. It was only going to take about 30 minutes at the most. The barstool I sat on was broken and my kid wanted to leave in under an hour. He was just over it. That's exactly what you get, your kids will go nuts! I brought my one and a half year old and he had so much fun. From bouncing in the houses, to dancing to the kid appropriate music, and playing on the arcade games everything was fun for him. The concept is nice, but the customer service and organization of the actual company is horrible. I waited in line for 10 mins before someone acknowledged me and my party. Furthermore, someone gifted me a groupon (I dont have a groupon account) and they wouldn't honor it because I had to open it in the app, and told the person who bought the groupon that they never honor groupons and that everyone who buys them can never use them, and has the same problem. Bottom line, its a joke because whether or not you use the groupon voucher, groupon still sends them a check for the sales. If ur paying cash, cool, but the groupon bit is a complete joke. The staff don't seem to know what they are doing. Overall the experience qas not a good one and I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

And the " summer hours" as if .... I already HATE this place, been there 2 times and had XERO fun so far. We have been here twice: once for an open play and another time for my daughter's 4th birthday party. GOOD: The facility is fun! My daughter has SO MUCH FUN on all the inflatables, and I love that you can see all of the jumpy houses from one spot. All her friends seemed to have a blast too! During her party, it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves- NOT crowded at all (but then again I made sure not to book a party during open play time). The pizza was tasty. One of the ladies at the front desk was very nice and attentive, probably the manager or owner (the rest of the staff, not so great). I complained that the bathroom was dirty, and she had it cleaned up the next time I went in. I requested to have her call my daughter's party over the loudspeaker to take a group picture by the princess jumpy house, and she did. WHY ONLY 3 STARS: The private party room experience- not so organized. After calling us into our private party room, the attendant, pizza and juice boxes were nowhere to be found! I had a room full of energetic, hungry, and thirsty 4 year olds WAITING for food. Now, don't get me wrong, I think kids should be patient and learn how to wait, BUT after jumping for more than an hour they were ready to eat! I assumed (incorrectly) that the attendant would have set up each place setting with a juice box and be there to serve the pizza right away. I guess i could have checked before we all went in the party room to see if everything was set up, but I was too busy, you know, enjoying my daughter's party in the inflatable area! We waited between 5-10 minutes to get the food served, which may not seem long, but when you only have 30 min in the room and the kids are hungry it felt like a lifetime to me! Why would they call us into the private party room if the pizza and drinks weren't there? Also, our attendant could have been more enthusiastic. It IS a kid's birthday party after all! Why so bored and uninterested? At the time, I was almost 9 mos pregnant, and I didn't want to worry about doing anything. I just wanted to sit back and enjoy the party. But I had to help pass out cupcakes (imagine if it had been an actual cake that had to be cut and served) and I had to lead singing Happy Birthday. Why didn't the attendant do that for me? Isn't that what they are there for? Oh, and he also didn't clear the trash after juice and pizza, so all that junk was on the table during the cupcakes and singing. I felt like I had to manage our own party attendant- I wish he would have just stepped up and run the party like he should have. One last thing (which is kind of my germ-a-phobe issue), but at other birthday parties in similar type facilities, the attendant was at the door before the kids came into the private room to make sure all the kids sanitized their hands. I don't know if Jump!Zone just doesn't do that, but I had to make sure the kids "washed" their hands before eating. So overall we'll be back to play, but I wouldn't do another birthday party here. read more

The most unfriendly staff!! we have participated in a birthday party in this place and there were 2 ladies in charge.the young lady was friendly but the main person (maybe manager) was the most unfriendly staff I have ever seen.she talked to kids in such a way that they were scared!! She had No Respect for kids. Another problem was they didn't ask kids to wash or sanitize their hands before having their pizza!!! Let me start by saying my (just turned) 3 year old son was there previously during an open play and had a fantastic time! I did too because there is plenty of space to sit, it's brightly lit and decorated, chilly but not cold, I can see every jumpy from the seating area, and it's just small enough and big enough to not loose my son but he can run and play independently. There is a little food/drink area as well. I really liked the open play time and we will certainly return for that. Not so good was the 3 year old birthday party we just had there for him. I scheduled online, picked all of my food/drinks/decorations/etc. and received a confirmation. There was a discount offered but for some reason didn't show up on my order, I called and they quickly corrected that. I chose the $315 party, $105 party package, balloons and extra pizzas & pitchers so I would have enough for the adults as well. I went in to pick up the invitations and was very happy with my choice of venue for my sons 3rd birthday (and with 25 kids attending, very happy all I had to do was have fun!). Upon arriving for the party, they staff was very friendly. Coats off, some guests arriving, greeting them...and the staff comes to me to confirm my food/drink choices. No, they had it all wrong. They didn't even have the $105 package let alone the extras I ordered. So as the remainder of my guests were arriving I had to remember how many kids/adults were coming, choose # of pizzas, toppings on pizza, and drinks (pizza was good by the way). I was very annoyed and angry....didn't they have a copy of my order or my confirmation? I didn't want to deal with this as my guests were coming in. Well at least I wouldn't have to set up, serve, or clean at the party, yea!!! Ummm...I did have to set up, serve and clean. They had one young man for the party, and he was not assertive and with a room full of 25 little kids, easily faded into the background. Also, I thought the allotted 30 minutes in the room would be enough, it was not. He told me I didn't have to clean up, he would. But he must have meant after we left the room because he didn't clean up much while we were in there. Again, a room of little kids with parents is not a place for an assistant that isn't assertive. He was friendly though. As the party was ending...feeling extremely rushed to leave, we asked if we could have another 15 minutes and they agreed as there was not a party following us. He reminded me that guests could not return to the play area after the party. I said that's fine but I hope you're not asking me to police them because I will not. He didn't say anything. I'm sure by now they all thought I was a b***h. I will not have another (admittedly large) birthday party there until my son is a few years older. But again, I loved it as an open play and we'll certainly be back for that. read more
