My intention was to get a dermaplane facial, however once I arrived and the facialist, Reiko, took a look at my skin and she had different plans for me! She warned me away from dermaplanning due to the nature that my skin is in right now. I really appreciated her walking me through all of alternative options customized to my skin's needs. I can do all the research I want, but at the end of the day a professional's opinion is certainly valuable. She ended up giving me chemical peal facial, which was fantastic. The process was cooling and relaxing, and took about 45 minutes total. Reiko was kind enough to sooth my skin with an extra treatment at the end, as we had the time (and I needed it). As with most spa treatments, the process is a bit pricey, but I truly look at as an investment in my skin's health.
