Took a cab from the airport to our home on May 21st. Seemed like we couldn't choose our ride.. just had to go with whichever taxi was next in line at the airport. It was a Bonny's Taxi Queens City cab (080 to be exact). What an extremely rude driver. I can't ever recall ever having such a rude driver. The drivers are friendly, when you can get a cab, but if they think it might be a trip worth less than $10, they refuse to pick you up. Don't ever tell them your destination when you book it, unless it is a good, long trip. Unfortunately they have a monopoly in Burnaby. A better bet is to get an Uber. read more

Horrible service, inadequate drivers with inadequate experience. I got dropped off at the wrong hotel as I am not from Vancouver I did not know. called the company and they were going to make me pay to get to the right location. Prior to being dropped off I asked my driver if he needed the address as well. Within 5 mins of being dropped off at the wrong hotel I called the company to give them a chance to resolve the issue and get me to the right destination without a fee and they said they wouldn't and I would have to pay for their faults. The dispatch sometimes asks where are you and your name (sometimes not your name just where) and say okay he's coming No time he is coming. Doesn't take my phone number down (I'm caller ID blocked) ... how will the driver know who to look for. It's a bus depot They are losing major business by not fixing the app. The app has not worked over half a year now. During and after covid I now take Lyft. Cuz I can book a ride. I want to see how much the cost might be. I want to compare prices. I want to compare speed of driver arriving. And I want to know the approx time they are coming. It's 20th century. You also cannot book in advance (again. The app does not work) so booking a ride for work to home. Once a week. Every week. Is a manual chore. And since you called. There's no guarantee there's any drivers nearby. So your wait? Is so long. You are better off waiting the 20 more minutes for transit to start running for the day. read more

This is by far the worst taxi company I have ever dealt with. in my personal experience, this company over charged me. My niece had a horrible experience though, her and a couple friends had too much to drink and when the taxi had arrived at their destination, one of the girls got out to throw up, my niece is still fairly young so the driver assumed that the girls were going to run off without paying. He immediately put his hands on the girl who was throwing up and pushed her aside. He then proceeded to drag my niece back into the car. He would not let her go until she paid him 20$ extra. The taxi metre said it was 40$, the driver insisted on 60$. He also said that she could pay in another way if it wasn't enough and shut the camera off. When I called for a taxi their dispatcher was so incredibly rude, talking over me and not listening. The problem was that I had called another taxi service and instead of them telling me they didn't pick up they left me waiting so naturally I wanted to confirm. Taxi B-66 needs lessons in road safety. I was crossing the road with my dog in Delta yesterday. The crosswalk indicated walk, so I proceeded. B-66 was in SUCH A HURRY to do some personal shopping at Superstore, that he turned left into the road I was crossing - directly in front of me. If I decided to run with my dog or to let the leash out more at that moment I would have been hit. I followed him to the parking lot to address the issue, and all he said to me was "you had enough room to cross." PEDESTRIANS HAVE THE RIGHT OF WAY IN A CROSSWALK!!! Today I reserved a wheel chair taxi at 10:30am for a 1:30 pick up to take me to the hospital for my 2:00 chemo appointment. At 1:40 I call to see where the taxi was and they said there were none available and it would be another 15 minutes. I waited until 2:00pm and calked again and still not available. I use this company a lot and for the most part, they are not bad. However, I would like to warn everyone about cab number B122. This has to be one of the dirtiest cabs I have ever been in. I would complain directly to Bonny's, but I think we all know they don't care. I ended up in cab B122 on back to back days. I had called for a cab at 12 pm on the 6th of January and the cab was there quickly, not much was said on the drive to my destination.| The driver stopped and cleared the meter before I had a chance to look at it and I stated 'Please do not do that again.' I was crossing near lougheed mall in front of the bay from Austin road towards lougheed skytrain station with my baby who is in a stroller, when one of the bonnies taxi drivers came flying into the intersection, cut me and my baby off and sped off down Austin. He wasn't even allowed to turn, but obviously was carelessly driving and didn't even look at the lights to see if it was his turn to turn left. On ANOTHER day, I was getting out of one of their cabs with my baby and was trying to unbuckle my baby from the car, from his car seat. I was standing half in the car, standing half out when the driver started moving and was centimetres from running over my toes. I had to move with the car in order for him to not run me over. Bonnies drivers are careless and irresponsible. I would suggest only taking an Uber from now on. This is not USA so they will not help you with luggage or open the door for you etc. But overall, its just the standard taxi ride. Nothing special. Called for a cab from west side of Burnaby, which arrived within 5 minutes. Told driver I was going downtown, and the trip was fine. However, when I went to pay with credit card, the driver insisted he take my card from me, rather than just passing the terminal back to me (which is how I normally do it, there's no reason to let anyone handle your credit card). He immediately became aggressive and angry, demanding I pay in cash, and once I again asked for the terminal, he loudly accused me of using a stolen credit card. He finally let me have the terminal, I paid without issue (no tip!) and got out. I forwarded information about this to Bonny's contact email, and did not receive a reply. I took a Bonnie's taxi to an appointment and was very pleased with my driver, as I usually am. Bonnie's dispatchers can be hard to get hold of, but I find the drivers are kind and helpful. I don't drive and I have physical disabilities - they never mutter about having to fold up my walker (and, of course, unfold it at the other end of the trip). They carry my shopping up the stairs to my house, help me in and out of the taxi (sometimes I need more help than others), and always ask if they can get me closer to the door, should they wait for me, and where's the best place to drop me off. Bless them all, they're one less thing to worry about on those occasions that I leave the house. In my experience, they are gentlemen and professionals. read more

Bonnie's taxi has got to be the single most worthless taxi company to date. Let me kindly summarize: I was shopping at a local costco, where I was approached by a (supposedly) homeless man. He was wearing a large coat, and he was extremely hypothermic, shivering all over. He asked me if I could call a cab for them, and the first google search after typing in 'taxi' was Bonnie's taxi. After about 10-12 minutes of waiting, operator lady finally answered and said that they would need 10-15 minutes to get the cab to the location. The first call was made at 6pm. I told the operator that the man needed help. It was 6:30, the homeless man lay there on his side waiting for the taxi to arrive, but alas, no taxi. I decided to stick around for 5-10 more minutes, still, no taxi. I decided to phone bonnie's taxi again, and with a 15 min hold, the line just disconnected. I was furious! How can a transportation company just leave someone hanging for over 45 minutes? I asked myself over and over again continuously. I called this trash company one last time, and after 9 minutes of hold, the same lady answered with a monotone. I asked that operator why a taxi hasn't arrived yet and she said the following: "Seems like the skytrains aren't working, so just be patient and wait." Dumb lady couldnt tell me that so I can pass on the information to the homeless man that he might have to wait longer for his ride. 7:09 pm (1 hour and 9 minutes later taxi finally got here. By that time, homeless man was gone. Probably thought it'd be better finding shelter anywhere on the street was better than sitting in a cab run by this business. Gee thanks! Guess Bonnie's taxi doesn't care about business or about other people's well being. Kudos! I usually have more luck with flag downs than I do with calling, but today's experience was great. The dispatcher quoted five minutes; the driver was here in 8. The cab was clean, the driver was professional and took the most direct route. At the end, I didn't have the exact change and wanted to give a tip, but the driver insisted on giving me back $5 on a $20 bill for a $14.65 ride. He said not to worry and have a nice day.
