Ordered a pizza and a sub to go. Sat in restaurant and waited because pizza was only $12 on Monday nights. It was very good. I will definitely eat a pizza from here again. Maybe I will try a ricotta; my favorite. The service could not have been better. The man that took our order was so hospitable it was refreshing. read more

I have been looking forward to trying this restaurant for at least 4 months. My friend had some delivered while setting up for her baby shower and I haven't been able to forget the smell since. When I had my opportunity to give it a try I decided to order take out to enjoy over a movie at home with my son. I placed my order over the phone (one small half cheese half pepperoni pizza) and was greeted by a very kind voice and quoted a 15 minute wait time. When I arrived to the restaurant there was only one family seated together inside. As soon as I walked to the counter I was greeted by two friendly employees (one I assume to be an owner) I paid, and my order was handed over. The inside of this place is bigger than I imagined and decorated traditionally for an Italian spot. When I arrived home my pizza was still very hot and fresh. Flavor was immaculate and honestly I'd solidly this place as my new favorite pizza joint easily. read more

Decided to try delivery from here. Ordered a medium specialty pizza, all meat. The ordering process on the Yelp app was very easy and the delivery service was GrubHub. Pizza arrived in about 15-20 minutes at my hotel. The pizza was warm and loaded with toppings. The crust was the thing to talk about. It had a nice crunch to it. Good flavors in the sauce and the ingredients tasted good. Good delivery experience for a guy who was exhausted and didn't want to leave the hotel. read more

I have ordered takeout twice. Both times were with coworkers. They do deliver but we went and picked up. Both times they were busy. The employees were friendly and professional. Nice pizza place. We have gotten pizza both times and very pleased with both orders. The pizza was hot, cooked perfectly on the bottom and the cheese was fresh as the sauce. I really enjoyed the pizza sauce. Best New york Pizza especially when the owner Boris is making the pizza thin crust enough cheese and excellent sauce. 11 out of time 10 Bono is the best hidden secret, I been going there 3 to 4 times a week for the last year. They have been in business for 5 years I missed out on the first 4 years. I have taken several of my family members there they share my opinion that it is the best. When Boris makes my pizza it is #1 and that includes any New york city pizza place. Sometimes I order an eggplant parmesan sub and take the eggplant out of the bun and put on top of the pizza a delicious! combo (not the dry eggplant bitter strips that you can order as a topping not the same) I am a diabetic and I go to the gym do weights training and walk 3 miles so I can go to Bonos and eat not sure my doctor would agree. Incredible. It's off the beaten path, kinda hidden, but worth it. Not a ton of seating inside so we've got carry out every time but everything on the menu we've had is very unique and flavorful. We came here for really great pizza and we left amazed and so satisfied! The crust was so crunchy, the ingredients included fresh tomato, basil, and a high-quality mozzarella. The cheese pool was insane and the pizza came out piping hot. Although the restaurant is a bit outdated and old, looking on the inside, it still felt really clean and we decided to dine in. Well, get on in to Bono Pizza, where Boris, the Jamaican owner, and his lovely family work extra hard to make sure you have the best experience and a fantastic pizza, all with big smiles and warm conversations - if you choose to hang around and chat for a minute or two. We ordered a large Sicilian house pizza and what came out was just about the size of a house. The portions are massive. The prices are like something from before the pandemic and everything is as tasty as if it was made with love by your grandma. The restaurant is located in an industrial area, which is probably how they manage to keep their prices so low. So the ambiance isn't so great, but man, that pizza is something else!! Bono pizza is just like the name states: bono/good. The restaurant is located in a nondescript strip mall, but its well worth the visit. There is little in terms of decorations inside the restaurant, but it is perfect for children; they have an arcade video game, and TV which are all free. The pizza and wings were really good. The cashier / waitstaff was very friendly and attentive, she check in to make sure you are enjoying the meal. Overall a good place for quick bite to eat or for takeaway / takeout orders. read more

This place was great! It looks like it's in an industrial park but truly a hidden gem. When we arrived there were many first responders and shift workers waiting for their orders. The sweet gal behind the counter knew everyone and their order, it made the whole visit enjoyable to see! Also, huge thanks for having individual slices for pizza, it was convenient and everyone got what they wanted. It was also good for the many tables of coworkers with separate orders, everyone got what they wanted and didn't have to share a pie. We loved the pizza and will be back any time we're in the area. First: If you haven't just moved here after Covid from NYC or one of the other Northern Metropolitan Cities and concurrently jacked up everyone's rent, Boris might still be downtown. Second: One of the best pizzerias in the WPB area. Kudos to Boris who put up with endless late night shenanigans and still sold a great pie. 3: However, if you're gonna be great at pizza you better have classic dishes to go with it. They do it. Extremely accommodating and welcoming service and even more accommodating and affordable pricing. Definitely a great neighborhood place where I'd feel comfortable bringing the toddlers. The pizza was delicious. The sauce was tangy and had the right amount of cheese and the dough was soft but crispy on the bottom. The dough was honestly top notch. Nice cozy little hidden gem. This little spot is not in a heavy traffic area so I'm sure they don't get as much business as they deserve. Yesterday was my 2nd time coming to this location. I heard about it from a friend of mine that I coach basketball with. We came after a game a while back and they were delicious. Well yesterday my son and I were waiting to play some golf at Drive Shack and we decided to eat while we were waiting for our bay. I knew this spot was nearby. We walked in and was welcomed right away and our order was taken shortly after. The staff are always very nice and it has a great family vibe to it. Their pizza was delicious. Very fresh and hot! I have only ever had pizza but seeing some of their pastas and breads that other customers ordered, I'll def be back to try other things on the menu. Check them out! You won't regret it! read more

Boris is the Famous Jamaican chef formerly of the pizza parlor in the 500 block of Clematis street. Boris' and a partner has opened a new place of his own only a few minutes from downtown and has delivery to all of downtown. His food is the best around. He knows how to make great Pizza, wings, salads, sandwiches, etc. etc. We have known him and been eating his wonderful food for 10 years and now he has his own place right off of Okeechobee. We were so happy to find this establishment (off 1-95) after a long day of sports. Super friendly service and our food was delicious. We ordered pasta dishes and a Stromboli. It was definitely the best Stromboli we've ever had! The bread was crisp and there was filling in every single bite. The pasta dishes did not disappoint either. A gem find for our out of town youth travel hockey team! We all agreed this was some of the best Italian ever. Baked ziti was hands down the best ziti my husband ever had and I had the shrimp Francese which was just incredible. The gentleman who was at the register was the nicest human ever too!! The menu was a little confusing and felt all over the place. The "appetizers" were mostly fried foods that honestly seemed more like à la carte meal items. Along with that, they offered low country boil bags, fried rice dishes, and Asian noodle options, just an unusual combination overall. We ordered one of the boil bags along with a few appetizer items. Everything tasted good, and there really wasn't anything bad about the food. The crab legs were definitely the highlight of the meal. That said, nothing really stood out enough to make it memorable, especially for the price point. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but it's probably a one-and-done visit for us. Glad we tried it, but not somewhere we'd likely return to.

As a New Yorker, pizza is very important to me. This place has surpassed my expectations of what a pizza place should be. The slices taste fresh out of Penn Station and to be completely honest, I did not expect to find a spot that had ACTUAL New York pizza. The owner was very friendly and was very excited for me to try a slice, especially after I made a comment on his NYC hat.
