I am extremely happy and extremely upset that this is two hours from my house. If it was like only an hour away I would be here every single month for their weekend sales. Since it is a little far it's fun to make a day out of it a few times a year. There are tons of books to search through and you could literally spend the entire day here. MASSIVE! The Book Warehouse Outlet is a book lover's dream. The selection was impeccable. Shelves and stacks everywhere. I came in with my blinders on and a budget, but there's truly something for everyone. Pro tip: go close to opening! I arrived about 30-45 minutes after they opening, and the parking lot was already packed and lines inside were long. Patrons were super friendly though as you'd expect from fellow book lovers. I'd suggest bringing a big tote bag. People had carts, but they're hard to maneuver through the narrow aisles, especially in the busier sections. The entire warehouse isn't open for browsing. They have mountains of books and products stacked to the ceiling, so I'm sure each visit bring new finds and fresh stock. No direct thriller section this time, but I snagged a few great sci-fi, true crime, romance, and self-reflection picks I'm excited to dive into. And don't forget the classics! I am so happy that I saw an advertisement for the Book Warehouse Outlet on Instagram. Once a month the location has a 70% off all books. Hence the importance of my visit. We arrived about 30 minutes after the business opened. This was a visit that we pre-planned/research for. Our research led us to learn that the warehouse has no AC. Because of this heated detail, we decided to bring fans and water. Our choices led to our first visit being a bit more enjoyable. The amount of books at the warehouse was insane. We were at the warehouse for two hours to give some context. It was a bit overwhelming, but brought me so much joy. I was able to find series books by author Kimberly Lemming, a date night cookbook, a Lisa Jewell novel + so many more books. The selection was plentiful, although I do wish that the genres were all grouped together in a central location. Also, I think having direction signs for payment lines and directional travel through book aisles would be very helpful. read more

Luckily I saw a video with tips on how to shop here--it really helped! This is a true warehouse, so it's hot inside. We came prepared with portable fans and a cart for our books. Got there at 8:15 (they open at 8) and it was already packed. It's definitely overwhelming with the crowds, but we took our time and browsed what we could. We were a little disappointed not to find books from some of our favorite authors, but there's still a huge selection across all genres. My biggest critiques are the lack of clear signage for genres, no arrows to help with flow, and a need for someone to direct the checkout line--cashiers were calling people up but many couldn't hear them, leading to unnecessary wait times. That said, I compared prices with retail and Amazon and still saved over $300--spent $175 total. Definitely worth the 6-hour round trip, and we'll be back! read more

I purchased books from them on TikTok and returned them over personal reasons. And they pretty much lied and said they didn't receive them TWICE and refused to give me a refund and they were new unused books with plastic wrapping. Good thing I have my tracking and pictures proofs. I will not be buying a thing from this company again. And it is no direct phone number for their company another red flag. They have great books and prices but, avoid them if you can the customer service is not good at all. read more

Holy comic books Batman! All I am saying is that every book is 70% off. Just a few notes: 1. Parking is on the grass. Yes, THAT many people came. 2. They open at 8am and closes and 6pm. I got there around 9am they were using the overflow parking. 3. Parking is free. 4. BRING A TOTE! A basket, a wagon SOMETHING. You will need it. I'm happy that I keep a random cold/hot bag in the car. 5. There are price charts every where (who does math in public ). 6. THEY TAKE CARD! 7. They literally have books upon books upon books. Going to the comic section, I saw a lot of other things. 8. The comic section is towards the back. 9. They favor DC more than anything. Next is Marvel and then the other publishers like Image. 10. They're somewhat organized but not really. Make sure you have some time in your hands as you will want to go row by row. 11. The rows are SUPER narrow. I wouldn't recommend being that person who brings the basket into the rows. It gets beyond cramp. 12. Checkout is towards the front and the line moves really fast. 13. It's a warehouse, so the place looks and feels like a warehouse. But there are so many books to look through that I felt like a kid in the candy store. The prices were incredibly low and the cashiers were fast as well! Will be going back. read more

I'm all about books....I drove 2 hours for this experience and it did not disappoint. For me, this is a twice a year venture. SO SO SO many books and it's all over the place. They tried their best to categorize the inventory but with how many they had......it's just impossible. Deals were worth the drive. Advice: bring a buggy, water bottle and fan. read more
