Wow, this store is packed from floor to ceiling with educational toys. It can be a bit overwhelming when you first walk in but the customer service is fabulous. They'll make recommendations when they know what you're looking for AND they offer free gift wrapping. Nice selection of toys Went on a Friday after my little boys first hair cut. Door was locked. It was 4:55 and they close at 5. All we wanted was to get my upset son a toy for being a big boy. Lady barely let us in - "he found 5 more minutes" she said to the other workers, as they sighed. "Not on our clock" another lady said. This place closes at 5pm and gosh darn those employees are racing out then. I bet the owner would not like to see that. The store is 5 star. Employees 2 on a good day. read more

The store is small but seemed to have a lot of things. We are from our of town and where we live, the small stores are ALWAYS more friendly and helpful. We like to support local small businesses, so when we found ourselves unexpectedly in Greenville for Christmas due to my mother being on hospice, we thought we might be able to "save" Christmas for our children and support this store as well. Unfortunately, the employees were incredibly rude. They acted like I was bothering them and creating a huge inconvenience when I asked if it would be ok for me to buy the gifts but another family member pick them up so the kids wouldn't see the bags. We have enough going on without adding this to it, so we took our business (and nearly $1000 of purchases) elsewhere. read more

Everyone here is extremely helpful. We came in looking for a gift for a 5 year old and they were so fast to give us suggestions and helped us find the perfect gift for our nephew. They wrapped it super cute and even the card we picked out matched perfectly! Thanks guys! read more

I visited this establishment today and the lady behind the counter was very rude because obviously she was too busy wrapping gifts and my purchase was not important to her. After a wait she finally rang up my purchase and had to ask if I wanted my item in a bag which she threw at me instead of putting it in there for me. Then when I asked for my receipt, she threw it on the counter and walked away. Customer service is not important to her and I will not be back in the store. read more

In this day of age, it's hard to find an independently owned toy store. It's too bad because as a kid, I remember having 3 toy stores walking distance from our house, though that was in Tokyo, I feel sad taking my son and daughter to .... ToysRUs more than I have to. So yes, what a different feeling you get when you go inside Elephant's Trunk. Sure you'll pay a wee bit more for the same toy you can get at ToysRUs, but you can also find loads of toys and books ToysRUs will never carry. Do yourselves a flavor favor and take your kids here for a change. read more

My mother and I came here and spent an hour just walking around. Very easy to get into trouble here with all the wonderful things for children. Yes a little more money then your chain store, but items you won't find anywhere else. A great store if you value children. read more
