The store is nicely stocked with a little bit of the bookstore vibe of years past with categories of all kinds. They do have a big selection of children's books that include a rack of picture books and puzzles as well a section for young adults. There's not a lot of reference, DIY or self-help books but they've done pretty well with making a nice assortment of different genres available. They have a nice selection of discounted hard and paperback books, some audio books and assorted gifts. There's no coffee shop or couches to lounge in, no magazine or newspaper racks here, it's just books and that's okay with me. We bought a couple books and had a pleasant conversation with the very nice lady who was running the place all by herself. I'm a sucker for a good bookstore, and it's independently owned and operated, so what's not to like? Bottom line: it's clean, well organized and maintained with good prices. Recommended;

Everything about this store is perfect...the decor, the cat (I didn't get to see him :(. But saw of his haunts) , the selection. There are sections for mystery, sci-fi, fantasy and my favorite romance. And within those sections there are local author shelves. Employees are always helpful and available. The store is always clean, neat, and organized. One of the many reasons I go to the store vs online shopping is to view specialty items for gifts. Also, the games department is my go-to for Christmas secret Santa gifts. I also shop the sale sections to pick up great bargains and tuck them away for birthdays so I don't have to do last minute shopping. My latest visit started in the coffee shop where a delightful young woman, Laken, waited on me. She was very helpful and friendly. I could go on and on, but this Barnes & Noble store gets a 10 out of 10 in my book every visit.

lots of books and mostly displayed so you can see all the titles. i came for the children's books…read morewhich were not able to all be displayed in a way that made it easier to see, considering the volume and how thinner books will not have titles on the spine so displaying like the others would not have the same effect anyway. it was overwhelming for me to throughly look through the all books which is a sensitivity of mine with too many options per se particularly in this case as the books sit on their backs so they fill the tall shelves which sit close together in a compact space. the vintage golden children books i was going through were mostly priced at $10 so i passed on them. not sure how other books are priced but i did overhear the cashier recommending another store to someone stating it may be cheaper. cashier let me know to ask if i needed helped and seemed friendly checking out those with purchases and directed where to find the free bookmarks.

Great staff, quality products, excellent price. I just barely made it to the party in time (my fault, not theirs) with the gift. Very happy with the whole transaction. The birthday party was not only a success but turned into a reveal when the "Bithday Girl" announced that she and her husband are expecting. What a great day, and I thank Bible Baptist Bookstore for their being an important part of a day that will always be a fond memory.

I came away with three paperbacks in good condition for less than $5. The owner is a delight, and quite helpful. Only two minor caveats. The business hours are limited, so check to see if she's open before you head out there. Also, hit the ATM before you go, because it is cash only.
