This is a neat attraction at the Springs Preserve. You take the tram there. Or you can walk on the designated path. The last time we visited we had no idea how large the attraction had gotten (well, to be fair, we only came here for the Christmas event so it was dark and at night). But both times we came here and it's neat to see "how things were back in the Old Days." There is a train station, some old homes to visit (but some of them are closed) on one side, and on the other side are the buildings: a bank, the saloon, the store, the open air theater, the hotel, etc. The homes definitely have an old scent. Maybe because the rooms are staged. There are informational signs located everywhere. It is pretty neat to revisit History. In the bank, there is an activity wall specifying the cost of items and goods. You can select the coins and place it along the line item. read more

Boom Town is located inside the Springs Preserve. The Springs Preserve is in Las Vegas off of the 95/Valley View exit. Parking is free in the Preserve. Entry prices into the Spring Preserve vary from members, non-members, and local Nevada residence. My daughter and I stopped by the Springs Preserve on a Sunday morning, as soon as it opened at 9:00 A.M. Our entry into the Preserve was approximately $15.00 for 2, local Nevada resident. Boom Town is right next to the Water Works. You can take the train from the Playground area to Boom Town. The train arrives every 20 minutes and it's approximately a 3 minute ride to Boom Town. Boom Town is a recreated historical representation of Las Vegas that tells the story of the city from 1905 to 1920. You'll see a variety of railroad cottages, Train Depot, Arizona Club, Mercantile, Lincoln Hotel & Majestic Theatre, and the First State Bank! While you're visiting Boom Town, you'll be able to go into the buildings and see what they looked like, fully immersing yourself into the experience. Our favorite spot was the Las Vegas Mercantile. You'll be able to see home furnishings, food, hardware, and other local provisions that were used back in 1920. Boom Town is a must visit if you're at the Springs Preserve! read more

We saw the film in their DFX experience, which felt right for a movie that was a bit over 3 hours! The speakers and viewing were very impressive as I am used to more "retro" theaters around the Valley. I did like having their recliner seats that were adjustable with just holding a few buttons but it was hard to get used to the seating with a movie this long! It shouldn't be a worry for average feature film lengths. I didn't get popcorn this time but I took some from my friend who added a few toppings to hers. The station is right before you scan your tickets so don't miss it! I hope to return soon for more films! Their lovely staff and cleanliness of the overall location is a major win in my books! :)

The concession gentleman understood we were new to a big theater and he was so gracious and patient while we ordered. We wanted to check out all of the cool merch they had and he was ever so pleasant! Theater was clean and seats were fabulous! I had never been to a theater with reclining seats. Again, small town folks used to family vibe businesses. Restrooms need much attention. Sinks were stopped up and very rusty. The two "gentlemen" at the scan tickets booth were less than pleasant. Seemed very annoyed at being asked where the restrooms were. Snotty blokes. They need to be in housekeeping where they do not have contact with the public. Their attire was much too tight, left nothing to the imagination. We would visit this theater again due to the fabulous gentleman at the concession stand, the manager on duty, and the cleanliness of the theater seats."

The movie (Avatar Fire and Ash) was visually enjoyable on their large screen and the sound was LOUD and crisp. Really appreciated that the reclining seats also each have their own swivel tray table. Our family joined the Regal Crown Club, which drastically helps cut ticket and concessions prices on Tuesdays. Ticket prices are $8/adult on Tuesdays with the membership. I couldn't believe that their small popcorn is regularly priced $12 and their large just under $15! If you have the Regal Crown Club membership (it's free to sign up) and go on Tuesdays, popcorn is 50% off regular prices. Nonetheless, this is a really solid theatre, clean with extra comfortable recliner seats, friendly service and good "Discount Tuesdays" deals with membership.

What I appreciate most: plush leather seats, plenty of legroom, a clear view, and the fact that they have concessions and a full bar. Yes a full bar! What I don't appreciate: the sky-high prices. We paid $47.98 for two adults just to get in, and food, snacks, and drinks can easily tack on another $50 unless you bring your own flask. And without fail, there's always someone in the theater who can't behave. Once it was a drunk woman yelling at the screen and her boyfriend. Another time, a pack of teenage boys determined to ruin the movie for everyone else. This time, my neighbor ate an entire large bag of chips from the opening scene to the closing credits, crunching every bite and rustling the bag nonstop. I know not every situation can be handled perfectly by staff, but people who disrupt the experience really should be escorted out. Pro tip: bring blankets because they like to run ac even in winter.

We love coming here on Tuesdays for their movie deals and use the Cinemark movie rewards club for extra discounts. Highly recommend if you love getting rewarded to see movies. The employees are usually pretty friendly. The concession stand is always speedy in popping all the great popcorn! I love the smell of the fresh popcorn!! The theaters are always clean and well maintained. Some of the theaters have recliners in them with a button to sprawl out. Sound quality is always great and clear to enjoy the best sound effects in the movie. Can't wait to continue coming here for the latest films!

I went to go see The Mandalorian and Grogu tonight and here is my takeaway from tonight: - The theater feels really clean and relatively new. The chair was very comfortable (no heater in the chair though) and the recline went further back than most places that I can recall. - The food service was interesting. I decided to go traditional and just get a large popcorn and a large Diet Pepsi (yea, yea I know :P). The price wasn't too bad at all for $9.75 for both. I am still unclear on how to get a refill on the drink though. I do appreciate that the servers did not disrupt the movie at all. I have gone to theaters in other cities where they would step in front of the screen at times and it was maddening. - What's up with literally over a half freaking hour of previews and ads? Holy crap. lol I'm just going to add 20-30 minutes to the start time going forward. - Popcorn was solid. Not the best, not the worst. The soda is a 32 ounce. You're really working to make that last while devouring a large bucket of popcorn. Honestly, I love those large soda machines like at South Point. - Service was a-okay. I see some people report bad service, but everyone I spoke to was nice. I was greeted with a smile when I first got up there and greeted with a smile as I left. The servers were alright. I had to wait a while for my drink after they dropped off the popcorn. The delay was so much that I had to go ask the server in our theater if it was still on its way. Luckily not a minute later I had it. I just downloaded the Regal app and I can see myself coming back here since it's like a 10-minute drive from where I live. There is a points club, etc and some pretty good promos on there if you're a movie lover like me. I will be back. 4 stars.
