This place has continued its downward spiral. Just wanted to stop for a cold beer and some chips and queso. Super stale chips, lukewarm queso, and a discussion over what beer I ordered vs. the one I was served. Instead of replacing the stale chips, they warmed up the stale chips. We paid for it all, but didn't bother eating the "food." Or tipping. Don't waste your time on this dump. Terrible service, lousy food, but at least it's really noisy. Pass. read more

My fiance surprised me with a date night here. The night we went the soccer game was on. It was packed. We had an amazing time. The atmosphere was great. Decided to grab a quick lunch here with a friend, and upon arrival, we were promptly greeted and taken to a booth. Our server Zoe greeted us and took our drink order. After a few minutes she arrived with our drinks, and took our lunch order. My friend and I both ordered the Southwest Salad that comes with cheese quesadillas and Chipotle Ranch dressing. Zoe was attentive during our meal, and brought drink refills without us having to ask, and she checked on us throughout our meal. We visited Boomer Jack's to watch the USA vs. Australia match with a party of 4. The food was decent and everyone in our group enjoyed their food, but the real highlight of our visit was the outstanding service. Our server, Riley, was fantastic. She was incredibly attentive, constantly checking on our table, making sure our drinks were refilled, and ensuring we had everything we needed throughout the match. Even with the restaurant being busy during the game, she maintained a friendly attitude and provided excellent customer service. Riley's attentiveness and professionalism made the experience much more enjoyable. We'll definitely be coming back for another game and hope to be served by her again. Food was wonderful. Service left so much to be desired. It took a really long time for our server to come see us. She was not very personable and seemed to be very distracted. We ordered wings and a turkey melt with fries with water and a sweet tea. The turkey melt was delicious and the wings perfect. Getting a water refill didn't happen even though I had ghost pepper wings. And the sweet tea refill came after we were done eating when she remembered she hadn't brought it yet. We have been coming to this Boomer Jacks many times since they've been in Lewisville, and honestly they have been consistently good, especially for what they are. No, they aren't a 5 star place with 5 star servers across the board serving 5 star food. That's my opinion anyway. But they are consistently good with consistently good staff, servers and management. They get really busy, like tonight with FIFA going on. They often have a large number of big groups with a lot of kids in the mix. Not nearly as fun for the staff as it is for the kids. We had a party of 5 today, 2 kids. We were seated quickly even though they were already pretty full up. The waitress came around quick enough to get drink orders and our appetizers, those came out fairly quick. The loaded fries were hot and good, same with the fried pickles. We then ordered our meals, chicken and shrimp, a big burger, a wrap, a quesadilla and a kids meal. It wasn't much a long wait and we had time to chat and watch the game while we waited. Everything tasted as it should, no complaints, we didn't have to wait for refills or anything. No, the waitress wasn't hovering over us for our every need as she was kept really busy, but she was always near enough to get her attention if needed. As for reviews claiming a server may have been racist, I'll call BS. They have always had a very diverse staff and we have NEVER seen anything like that from anyone there. We ordered Fresh Fried Catfish, a Monte Cristo Sandwich with sweet potato fries and Kid boneless wings. The restaurant was freezing cold and we were all at the table shaking cold. My mom didn't care for her catfish but she did like her fries. My daughter did not love the sweetness of her sandwich but she did enjoy the large portion of sweet potato fries. My granddaughter was served before our food came out and our little 3 year old was given piping hot food. Too hot, temperature wise. If you ask for hot sauce you're offered Tabasco instead. The rating should be 4.5 but still a really fantastic place to come if you and your buddies are looking to catch the next Mavs game or weep as the Cowboys choke yet again. The food is really good. The fried pickles were personally had an excellent crunchy exterior that had a savory blend of seasoning that pairs with the cool ranch. I don't recommend the catfish since the fillets were really thin and so it was slightly over cooked. Better to try the burgers. The flavor is an explosion in your mouth and the servings are very generous considering how the prices aren't too much. read more

If you want to watch a game, you need to go to this bar. There are tv's on every inch of every walll! Its great especially if you want to watch various games at the same time! We went for the AFC championship game and even though it was full, the server was quick and we got our food fast. Plenty of space. Food is ok. The jumbo pretzel is great! Wings were ok. Stopped here after my football game with my crew, we had a big table maybe like 10 of us. Our waiter was very friendly, I know big tables can be overwhelming but she took good care of us and got everything right first time around. I ordered the double smash burger with sweet potato fries and a few beers overall good experience and they had a bunch of beautiful women working there which is always nice. Late with this, but attended the Sugar Bowl party with other Texas Longhorn parents and alums. It was fun, but so uncomfortable. The area they put us in had mostly high-top tables with picnic-table benches. As a short woman, high tops are awful for me. My legs fall asleep. I was so miserable and uncomfortable, it was hard to enjoy the game. Other longhorn fans at our table also complained about how uncomfortable it was to sit on a bench and high-top table for hours. No back support at all. Even the young longhorn students at our table said, "These tables suck." Also, it was such a pain to get in and out of those benches when a lot of people were seated at the table. Very bad call to put those awful high tables and hard benches in there. I suppose they're OK for a quick bite to eat, but not to have to sit there for hours for a sporting event. Just awful! To host major sporting events like that, they need to consider providing a more comfortable and inviting space for customers who will be there for hours buying food and drinks. The food was fine. While I was visiting family in the area, saw this beautiful establishment . I went inside and was impressed by its decor, presentation and the seating . This shining place is 2024ish . Huge multiple TV screens with capacity of serving over 550 ppl seats . Met the GM Oscar who was very friendly and hospitable. I ordered a drink and Salmon to go . The food was fresh and tasty. Bar attender was professional and new as she proclaimed and still learning about menu and specials . The service could be little bit better at the bar . Overall , I like the place and the food . My partner and I drove into Dallas pretty late in the evening, so we decided to try this place because it was close to our hotel. There were not very many people. So it wasn't too loud or crowded. We got there around 8:30. I ordered the grilled chicken Cobb salad and my partner ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. Both were served well and filled us up. I didn't get to try his sandwich, just wasn't in the mood to haha but he said it was pretty delicious. I did taste the French fries and I liked them. He did say the Au jus sauce was good, just a little too salty for him. I enjoyed my salad, it was pretty fresh and I really loved the avocado ranch! Not a bad place at all. My family and I stopped in one night. It was a Friday evening and the place was maybe 50-60% occupied. We got seated in one of the circular booths in the bar. We all ordered a mix of things. My boys got chicken strips and a burger. I got the Monte Cristo and onion rings. The onion rings are great. It is kind of that "sports bar" food but it's pretty good. Our server was really friendly and put up with my dumb jokes when ordering food. The only negative is I felt the beer selection isn't that great. I wish they had more craft beers or just a bigger selection. Hardly any stouts or dark ale at least when I went there. It's not a tap house or anything like that. Just a casual sports bar style setting. It was clean, a little noisy (not a complaint) but that's this kind of setting. Just people hanging out and eating and having a good time. Will definitely go back. I like this location more than the one in Denton. The one in Denton is in a strip mall setting and isn't that big and the parking isn't so great. The Lewisville location has its on lot and it's by the Music City Mall. Very enjoyable place. read more

I took my family to Boomer Jacks in Lewisville on May 27, 2024 because I had been to the one in Plano and have ALWAYS had a great experience, but the Lewisville location was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! To start, I ordered the Strawberry Western Son (which I have ordered many many times at the Plano location and loved) and it was horrible and tasted like cough syrup so I sent it back, then we ordered 10 garlic parm wings, which were DISGUSTING, drenched in nothing but butter. I ordered the fried jalapenos and my son ordered the California Chicken Club, he ate 1/2 and couldn't eat anymore because he said it wasn't that good, by the time we both got home we were both not feeling very nauseous and come to find out he ended up in the hospital with food poisoning. I called the manager,spoke to James, told him that my son got food poisoning and he didn't seem to care very much and said "I'll look into it". Never offered any kind of apology, a refund or anything for that matter. I will tell everyone that I know to NEVER go there and eat unless you want to get sick! Lunch at 2pm weekday. Several specials to choose from and did take advantage. Our server Kaylee was informative and friendly. Will definitely ask for her next visit. Ordered wings with sauce on the side as usual as to control coverage. I like the crunch and then I can flavor them myself. On Tuesday they are also half price! My girl/ many ppl even says the mix drink's barely have any alcohol,.. they are clearly profiting largely on less than full portions.
