It also took like 10 minutes for someone to notice that we were even there so that we could get seated. Worst of all is that the server had an attitude and he messed up our order. He didn't show us an itemized receipt, and when I asked to see the cost of each item he word for word said " I could charge you more". It felt like he was rushing us to pay cuz he overcharged, which he might have cuz I honestly barely got to see the receipt on this guys payment system. In conclusion, I wouldn't go back. I've looked through other reviews on Google and they had the same experience with their shady up charging. They try to be slick with it. Anyways I never leave reviews. We ordered 9 tacos but they brought out way more than we even asked for. We told them and they said they'd just take it off the bill so whatever, fine. Stumbled on this place. The outside looked inviting, especially the patio which had lots of televisions The online menu looked good and it seemed like a good place to watch Monday Night Football. As I walked in I noticed a casual environment with pine wood interior finish out along those same lines. The first thing I noticed when entering was a strong smell of cigarette smoke. I did not realize that the city of Lewisville allowed smoking in restaurants. I suppose I could've sat outside but it was cold and I wasn't dressed for it. Me and my mom come up here to play pool, have drinks, as well as definitely come for the FOOD.. Their food is really good, I've had just about everything on the menu. Well when I got to the restaurant it was so easy to park. There were a lot of wide open spaces. So then I parked and walked in. I could hear a band which was nice. Somehow I got seated on the opposite end from the band. There was hardly anyone there. I know that sometimes it's nice to dim the lights but not to the point where you can't see your food in font of you. Luckily I have a camera that brightens the exposure. My waitress was Kimberly. She was very nice. When had asked for a moment to review the menu, I thought she had gone on a journey or something. I didn't see her for about 10-15 minutes which is pretty long if you're waiting to order. When she brought out my drink I noticed there was no coaster. After I drank a cup of soda I had to ask about getting a coaster but they aid they were all out. This can often happen when someone doesn't do inventory correctly. The other thing I wanted to point out is the kids of groups that come in. At Twin Peaks the obvious majority of people are guys. Chill is where all the couples go that don't want to see women in short shorts and short shirts. Just something to think about it's definitely not a "gentlemen sports bar." As I'm halfway through my meal I noticed there were more customers filling into the area which was great. I didn't feel like I was in a deserted section of the restaurant any longer. When you check out they have these handheld devices to complete your transactions. It was nice that it was so easy to check out and I didn't have to wait for my card to come back to me. When I was leaving, I found that the parking lot was packed. There were very few spots available except on the side and the back. If you're not a regular forget these girls ever paying you any attention or service. Our waitress in the bar area was soooooo attentive to one table of two regulars that she never even came around again after initial greeting. I've been to both locations (Grapevine and Lewisville) and I have to say I very much prefer the Lewisville location! Not only is it a bit closer to home for me but the drinks are great, food has been consistent and on point and the servers rock!! Whatever you do in life get you the brussels sprouts with parmesan. They are always crispy, well seasoned and darn delicious! Live music on Friday and Saturday nights can't be beat. There's always a cover band that plays non stop hits well into the night. The patio is MASSIVE and they also have a little area in the back to play pool and all sorts of games. I even think I spotted a one of those basketball arcade type games back there! I was greates immediately (on a week day for lunch) and ordered water and meat pies. The menu says choice between queso or gravy to top, but since you get two, they let you do one of each. The pocket is filled with ground beef seasoned with cumin, mashed potatoes, onions snd peppers, diced small and sauteed to where you can't taste or feel the crunch. The white gravy was a delight. Ordered the chicken breast, Oscar style. Many choices for sides, all at the same price (most places want to charge you extra for sweet potato fries and onion rings)! Got onion rings and sweet potato fries all of this for just under $14. When it came out, another great surprise: large portion of chicken breast, as well as onion rings and sweet potato fries. Not only was the chicken breast good sized, It was moist & tender and well prepared! Sweet potato fries came with marshmallow dipping sauce (first time I've ever gotten that with sweet potato fries, anywhere) and ranch for the onion rings. The portions of the onion rings & sweet potato fries was more than expected and excellently in preparation and taste! Jordan was our waiter and did a really great job! Stopped in for a bite on Saturday afternoon. My wife and I sat at the bar, plenty of TV's, good tunes on the box. They have happy hour drinks even on a Saturday. While it took a little while to get initial service, one server was way more attentive than the other 3 bartenders, I believe her name Since our initial contact was much more engaged than the others, she was obviously not as available because it seemed to us that she was running the bar. We asked for a menu and another drink from one of the other 3 bartenders, but they just ignored me/us anyway, we ended up calling our friends and headed to another spot down the street that we knew would be able to accommodate us . This is the second or third time that we've given Lewisville Chill a chance because we've been to their Grapevine location and had really good experiences.
