I'm giving this place 5 stars because of the service. The food was great but the service was excellent which is hard to find now a days. My waitress was sweet lady named Altia (spelled wrong) but she was so attentive and just happy to be at work. She suggested I order the chicken bacon ranch sandwich which did not disappoint and of course I took advantage of their drink specials and grabbed a crown and coke which was perfect, the bartender was not skimpy on the liquor Checkout my TikTok videos on my page for more food reviews "taneeshanthecity

We got back in town late from travelling on a Thursday night. Neither of us wanted to see the inside of a car again so we turned to who still had delivery at 9pm. We know where they are located, which isn't far from our home. We even thought we may have eaten here once a few years ago but couldnt recall the details. The menu consisted of wings, burgers, salads, wraps, sandwiches, appetizers and a few grilled items. We ordered a turkey pretzel sandwich $9.49, a cheeseburger $8.79 and an appetizer sampler $12.49. My husband shared some his cheeseburger with me since my sandwich was a disappointment. It was great! Flavorful, juicy and filling. This was the one thing worth ordering again. My sandwich sounded appealing with Turkey, Swiss and creamy honey dijon on a pretzel bun. It seemed like processed turkey so I couldn't figure out why it cost more than the burger! It was extremely dry and bland and there was no dijon to be found! Fail. They included an extra bbq sauce and 3 sides of ranch with our apps, which we appreciated. So why no sauce on my sandwich or at least a side for me to put on? Pretzel buns are dense and tend to need extra, plus the sandwich would have benefited from *some* flavor. The apps were ok. I prefer dry rub wings, but they don't offer any. The honey bbq wings were the best of the appetizer sampler. The mozzarella bites and potato skins were alright, but dry was the common theme of the night. There is a dependency on the sauces to flavor the dishes...if you get any. That being said, the menu is ideally craveable if you've been drinking or have those end of a long day greasy munchies. It's ok and we will probably try it again at some point.

The price you pay for wings that are miniature sized, definitely not worth it at all.

It was cooked perfectly and their house made mayo really sets the stage for the taste! I also got their garlic and parmesan fries are the star of the show. Soooooo good! And the house made dipping sauce - mmmmm good! Our waiter was great! I met a friend and we were catching up on time instead of looking at the menu, and he was very patient with us. This is why my rating is only based on the food quality. Brisket and Queso $10 Smoked brisket, Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce, cilantro. A little too high for an appetizer, but the queso and brisket were good. I wasn't a fan of the sauce, the sweetness was a clash for me. The chips were also way too salty. The house salad $14 was an XL salad for sure! Everything was so good and fresh. They kindly brought me extra cheese and grilled jalapeños. The ranch was just right too! Downside: my patty was over-seasoned and overcooked. My partner purchased their most basic burger, the Waylon $12, the fries are sold separately. This burger was small, and once again, the patty itself was a disappointment. Texas sun cocktail was refreshing but just a simple pineapple and vodka mix.

We ordered some Fried Pickles, which is ALWAYS a hit, especially with that Jalapeño Ranch dipping sauce... Hot Damn that was good! We also ordered the Potato Skins that were filled with mashed potato (like a twice baked potato) and queso cheese. That too, was a perfect start to our experience. My wife and I shared The Flo aka a Mushroom Swiss Patty Melt, with some house fries. I also had dessert, which was an American Pie Old Fashioned. All of it... all so good. My son ordered The Jaky, which was a pork schnitzel topped with gravy. He also had some Mac n Cheese to go with it. He seemed pretty impressed by it. Overall, great service and an excellent experience. We will definitely be back again! As always, Enjoy & Happy Eating!

You never know what kind of night it will be here as the live entertainment on the patio varies daily. They've got Open Mic night on Mondays, you might get comedy or awesome local musicians on the stage. As for the weekend sometimes there'll be solo country acts, sometimes more alternative acts, sometimes full bands, and they've got a pretty good set of DJ's that play Weds & Thurs weekly! Definitely a party vibe always. Inside there are 4 pool tables of which are the best you'll find on Fry. On Sundays and Tuesdays they have 8-Ball and 9-Ball tournaments wherein you can come try your luck against some steep billiards competition. The inside and patio sort of keep separate vibes going where the inside is dominated by the jukebox and the outside is up to the performer. The patio bar is nicely done compared to how it was only a year ago since they remodeled it in March. They have a 100 shot bar that has a bit of everything on it, it's fun to experiment but dangerous to stand at for too much experimentation! Be warned haha! All in all this my go to bar, happy hour has $6 pitchers of Miller Lite, not my favorite but for the price? And the nightly drink specials are usually pretty awesome. Wednesdays get wild as double wells are $1 but it's always a good time! There's a great following here and if you take the time to get to know the staff they're all great guys in their own right, treat them well and they will reciprocate accordingly! The only bad thing I'd say about the place is it can get a bit smokey at times but it's not usually intolerable, no better or worse than Cool Beans or Riprocks. Thumbs up Garage, keep doing what you're doing Fry St. Bar at its best.

For lunch, I ordered the #9 Love Affair burger combo with sweet potato fries and added a side of onion rings. The sweet potato fries came in a good portion, which I appreciated. The onion rings, though, were $3.99 for only 6 rings, and that did not feel like a good value. The burger patty itself was the perfect thickness and cooked well, but it had almost no flavor on its own. The only real flavor came from the add-ons I chose, which were egg and pineapple jam. Because of that, the overall flavor just did not match the $22 price tag for lunch. Cool local vibe, decent presentation, but for the price, I expected a lot more flavor.
