yelp asked what can you improve and id say the list might just be too long but i would start with the servers (:. we had this girl named McKenna B. and she was hella weird and rude for no reason. not only was she hella passive aggressive but she didnt bring us any drinks because I didnt have my ID, but my friend did. She ordered a drink and not me(because i didnt have my id) she REFUSED TO SERVE US. The chips n queso were hella disappointing we got the chips that u get from the pre packed chips and queso from the Movies lol..... Not bad, typical bar food and 50 cents wings for SB SUNDAY. A little slow but overall not bad at all. The bartender was nice and attentive too. I beer when I got in and fooled around in their arcade before I ordered my food, very nice to have a place like this it's appealing to my generation and especially like the fooseball table, it set up well and not thrashed like some other places might have them. We visited during the day. We had the entire place basically to ourselves which was nice. Our first visit. The bar and game areas were clean and well kept. Booths were spaced and sanitized. The service was great and the food was a game changer!! By far one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. We also ordered the fried cheese curds. I could live on those all by themselves. Affordable drinks, good food, bright atmosphere, and SKI BALL!!! What's not to like? This bar is fairly new, but I have already been to it four times. The staff seems to be helpful attentive, hopefully this continues out of the honeymoon phase. Games include air hockey, darts, pool, pinball, ddr, basketball, and several classic stand ups. Every time I visit they seem to be adding more as well, yay! Only complaint I have is that it can be a little expensive to play for long durations...mostly ski ball, which is $1 for nine balls ($.50 is the standard from where I'm from). This can add up quickly over several hours of play. Overall, I am very pleased with game changers and look forward to being a regular patron, especially during sports games (lots of tvs). This place, although has a great array of games and enough space for everyone, has terrible customer service. On more than one occasion we've been ignored by the bartenders who were much too busy talking to attractive girls than to serve people waiting 10 minutes for a drink while simultaneously trying to wave them down when thinking we weren't being noticed by the bar tending staff. Also, had an instance where I took one of my friends who is studying here from Monterrey, Mexico and could not properly articulate in english as to what she wanted and in return was given a rude response by the bar tending staff insinuating that she was drunk. This is a kids place, so remembering as such is important. If I need to take the kids out for a burger and I want a drink, this is a great option. Staff was very nice and welcoming. It was a very slow night. Decent beer options. They have bar food. There was not as many arcade games as I expected for a place that is "video game themed". But I just went here again, having had nothing to drink before coming, and the bartender refused to serve me because I stuttered while ordering. I tried to explain that it was a sober stutter, and that I had not had anything to drink, but she had made up her mind. She served all the people I came with drinks. The first time I came was during the soft opening and while it had issues it showed a lot of promise. I came back for my second visit several months later. I'm sad to report that it seems the place has gone down hill. We came during the NFL playoffs, the bar was nearly empty and trying to get a drink took forever. They also seem to like to over serve as one gentleman at the bar was being loud and vulgar the staff finally made him leave. We had a great time at Game Changers. The atmosphere is very retro with fun games to match. We especially enjoyed the pool tables, Foosball, and Galaga. We spent about four hours total there playing pool, video games, and having a meal. We ended up spending a total of $15 on the games the three of us played. This seemed very reasonable considering the time we spent. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating as well. Our server was even able to modify some dishes to meet our Whole Food Plant Based diet. The veggie burger was pretty good even by my standards. You might want to bring a sweater on cool days as we all thought it was pretty cold inside while we were there. In my opinion a few improvements to get that last star would include more high quality vegan options on the menu as well as some decaffeinated, unsweetened drink options such as hot teas or specialty juices.
