This was my favorite of all the casinos we went to. One can walk in and immediately have a beer in one's hand if one tips and has a loyalty card. Drinks can be ordered on the app, sitting at a machine. The facility is built on a pier, has no garage, and is alot more laid back than the giant corporate ones. This is definitely a local casino that is run down and old looking. They are very understaffed and if you need your change back it will take you 15 minutes as there was only 1 person working at the cage. It is next door to the IP casino and a 5 minute walk. I went here as I was interested in playing the $3 dollar craps and blackjack as I was on a losing streak. I also wanted to play double desire as it is a rare and old school slot, but with 150 dollars in no luck, but they do have the haywire game which I really like. the rv park is small but not bad the lots are clean and decent the casino is just your average casino the buffet is pretty good it's all you can eat crab for $50 so it doesn't get much better then that. The only down side is the water at the rv park and here at the casino it smells so bad like sewage that's why i'm not giving a 5 star. read more

Our first casino we hit on our way into town. I loved it. Parking was available. Didn't have to walk a mile to the entrance. Payouts were ok! Our drinks were never empty. The only good thing about Boomtown is the host . Everything from decor to food needs a great improvement. This was my favorite casino but there have too many changes that really does not make sense. Many of their patrons are senior citizens, like myself. They do not have valet service anymore. Many of the patrons have stopped going because of no valet, poor odds, no decent food. That doesn't leave anything to give them stars for. It is just an old casino that needs new management to begin with. I don't go there and many others are not going either. Not my favorite casino in this area, but it does have some pros to it. It's pretty big so it's easy to find a machine, which is great and they have a complimentary soda machine for you to partake in while you're there. There's a sign that says no to-go so don't try it. The line to sign up for a players card moved pretty quickly and I was on my way to gamble in minutes. The casino, to me, looked the most outdated out of all the others in the area. It felt like it hadn't been updated in some years. I felt like I spent most of my time there waiting. They have limited number of ticket redemption areas to cash in your winnings so I wondered around to see if I could find one, or one that was open- no luck. So I waited until one became free. Then I tried the buffet, I waited and waited and waited in line. It was so busy that they had to stop ringing people up so the line was at a stand still. Eventually I gave up. All I can say is this Casino is TRASH. nothing to do with the very old and tired games but the atmosphere is awful, the place smells like a litter box has been used as an ashtray. The casino is visibly dirty and not sure how many amenities can be stripped, the buffet is gone, upper gaming floor, bar and snack bar also gone. Valet also gone as are standards of service and southern hospitality. I was there the last time when I heard an employee say the n word. Awful. The parking lot is strewn with broken beer bottles and trash was everywhere. They did have temperature checks at the door but they were optional. Upon entering the casino there were a few newer style slots in a separate section from the main gaming floor. Every thing else is very old and outdated. The whole casino is small and felt dirty. Based on the other casinos in the area, this is on the small side. There is plenty of parking, and valet parking is available if you want to be fancy and special. The main gambling area on the first floor is smoking, there is a small gambling area on the second floor that is nonsmoking. Which is odd. Smoke rises. I would imagine that would be irritating if you were precious about not getting smoke all over. There a couple of tables, I'm not really into tables though. There are plenty of machines ranging from penny slots to $5 roulette machines. Of course there are no windows, they don't want you to know how long you've been here. On the first floor is the noodle restaurant and a snack bar. On the second floor is the buffet. There is a poker bar to play and drink more easily. There are servers that come around to bring drinks. You can get bottles of water for free at the bar. On the first floor, you can get a frequent player card that gives rewards on play. This casino is one of the few in the area that does not have a hotel attached. On my most recent visit, on a Friday night, they had a live cover band on the main gambling floor. That was pretty darn cool. Double entertainment! Score! The people watching is pretty awesome as well. read more

Wow this was a horrible day! The slots were super tight, I keep track of spins to wins and most casinos are 1:4, meaning you break even every 4th spin. 1:13 at boomtown. Got frustrated at slots and went to sit down and try poker. Looked at the machine and someone has spit a tooth out on the machine. The whole tooth. Root and all. The waitress asked me if I wanted a drink and I pointed it out and asked her to do something So two managers, one security guard and the guy cleaning ashtrays came over and looked, picked it up and put it in an ashtray then walked away. No cleaning the machine, no taking it off line, no nothing. So a dude sat there and the waitress brought him a beer! Didn't even offer to wipe the machine! Gross! I'd been playing a little Texas Hold'em on Facebook for fake money and while in Biloxi (AKA the Gulf Coast Vegas) I decided I'd be willing to risk a small amount of money ($40) to play for REAL. So I'm a 21 year old blonde girl in this smoky, southern casino with my Mexican husband, and obviously I have never done this before, so when I approach the Texas Hold'em desk to purchase chips, I get a lot of "You sure about this, baby doll?" looks. I conservatively purchase the minimum table buy-in of $40 worth of chips and proceed to the table that I am directed to which has blinds of $1 and $2. My little tray holds $100 in chips and as of now it's about half full. I decide IF and WHEN my chip tray becomes full, I take the money and run. My husband stands off to the side and watches skeptically. As soon as I sit down, I am greeted by the other players (all men and a female dealer). About 4 guys eyeball me and then give me the 3rd degree. "You ain't from 'round here." (Not a question.) "What'chu playing for?" "This your first time, honey? We'll make it goooood for ya." "Don't'chu 'spect us to go easy on ya now, ya hear." Well, Mama didn't raise no fool, and 2 can play at this game. I proceed to taking $85 from this table with cute table etiquette errors, "beginners luck" and a subtle sweet Southern drawl. "Oh you boys cut it out! 'Course I'm not from 'round here! I'm from Texas and I'm hoping to win a little extra for my college tuition!" "Oh gosh, how much should I tip the dealer when I win?" "I just can't hang with y'all, guess I'm gonna fold again!" After about 45 minutes of play, I look down and my little chip tray is OVERFLOWING. As I promised myself, I promptly cashed out with $125 -- $85 in under an hour? Not too bad for a newb. Of course, my new friends expressed some outrage that I was leaving so quickly and that I should try to keep my luck going, but I took the money and ran with the sound advice to "not stop and lose it at those slots, missy!" My family and I has been coming to Boomtown Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi for many years now and we have enjoyed it especially the nickle slots and that delicious dinner buffet even the crab legs are quite the taste if you like seafood. Keep in mind guys and ladies they limit you on how many crab legs you can get at a time due to new rules from the higher management. The chefs hands you the plateful of crab legs you can't pick them out yourself which is a bummer but I can understand due to some people wasting them for no reason so it ruins it for people who love eating crab legs. Only thing bad thing bad to say about Boomtown they allow people to smoke in the Casino which sucks for people who don't smoke or who have Asthma in which I do but I can manage or move to a different machine can't really say anything to the person who smokes with out them getting all hot headed about it. If you blow smoke in the other players face or direction prepare for someone to tell you to stop blowing it in that direction or put the cigarette in the area where the player is not in at the present time. read more

Boomtown!!! (you have to say it like a local with an accent) There is no hotel here, just the casino which makes it nice because you have to be 21 to walk in. I played the table games, staff was very nice. They have TVs set up behind the craps table, which I guess is nice so you can see the game. But a little annoying when the dealers get caught up in the game on the TV and not the game I'm playing. There are two fountain bars available on the main floor, large size cups. No straws, but you can walk to the bar to pick one up. The upstairs has the poker room, more slots, a little dinning area and the buffet. I ate at the diner place, I had the mini burgers and coke float. Recommend. The mini burgers were made fresh in front of me, they come with pickles and grilled onions, amazing. I do like old style vintage feel casinos that are well maintained but this casino felt more scruffy with smelly old carpet and poorly maintained slot player areas. This is a locals casino but they are unfriendly and instantly know you are not a local. The one cocktail server on the floor came around to us just once. I guess she only serves locals. I have been to lots of casinos throughout the USA and even in other countries. Heck I frequent casinos in Las Vegas that cater to locals all the time but never experienced anything quite like this LOL! read more

This is where the locals go to play. We asked many of the local bartenders and dealers and they all said Boomtown was their Casino when they are off. Don't expect super fancy food or Decor however do expect super friendly service with reasonable price tables and friendly folks. I was able to play 50 Cent roulette with a minimum of $2. That's unheard of in all of the other casinos where each minimum is $10. Met a lovely bartender named K at the video poker bar and had a great time chatting it up with her. Talked about many things including the hurricane and the after effects and never seem to have anything to run out of to talk about. Had some really great look at the video poker and look forward to being back. I can't speak to what the room conditions are like since we didn't stay here but the service and friendliness were unsurpassed. read more

We were there for a dinner date and ordered the combo hibachi , shrimp and steak. We ordered a side of noodles. What we received was nothing like that. We got a shrimp with rice and a side of side. When we questioned it we were treated like we were in the wrong. They were very rude. We asked for the money that we paid for the combo back and could not even get it. How very dissatisfying. I NEVER eat at a buffet but I was driving from Pensacola to Baton Rouge and had very little to eat all day....the billboard on the highway beckoned me into the Boomtown. Mostly ate the crab (preferred the sweeter snow over the dungeness), the Chinese food was terrible, and the service was okay.
