I tried a hot dog all the way, one without slaw, and a sausage dog with spicy mustard. These are good hot dogs - all beef franks, grilled buns (nice touch that), nice chili with a touch of sweetness, and all sorts of toppings if you are so inclined. The smoke sausage was of the same quality as the franks, with a rich smokey taste and a touch of heat, and the spicy mustard added some bite. So this place came highly recommended & I finally snuck away to grab my lunch from here & it was absolutely awesome. The hot dogs are super tasty & you can choose from a variety of toppings: ketchup, mustard, homemade slaw, homemade chili, sauerkraut, relish, onions, jalapeños, cheese, candied jalapeños (I believe) & I may be be missing a few. Loved my hot dogs, only thing I would do different since it's a food truck & you take to your destination to eat, is that putting the sauerkraut on one of my hot dogs made my bun soggy. If I can get the kraut on the side & add once I reach my destination & I'm ready to have my meal that would be great. The fries were so tasty, some crispy like I like them & others just right. They have seasoned salt, Cajun seasoning, garlic salt, vinegar, & of course ketchup available for the fries. They even have a punch card available, after certain number of combos you get one free!!! Failed to get a menu pic, but I got the deal $8 for 2 dogs, fries & a drink. They also have: $7 for 2 dogs, chips & a drink & a deal with a sausage on bun, fries & drink (don't recall price). Boone Doggies was set-up at Juggheads last week and, despite the cold weather, I was happy to swing by. The food truck itself is really impressive. For this small job, he had pulled out the smaller cart. I got two hot dogs with chili, slaw, and mustard. Overall, I was really impressed. Chili was meaty with just enough sauce to hold it together. Slaw was tasty as well. The chili and slaw are both homemade. He also had some candied jalapenos available that he had made. I didn't try them but I was impressed by the effort. And you may want to try out their Polska Kielbasa Sausage paired with quality homemade toppings. I love mine with the ​candied jalapenos. The slaw and chili are homemade and absolutely delicious. Incredible! Best food truck in Winston Salem. Someone kept telling me these were some of the best hotdogs ever, and needless to say, the food went beyond the hype. Even just a basic dog with mustard and onions will be delicious. Their chili dog is excellent too. The prices are very fair. Two dogs for $5 or two dogs, fries, and a drink for $7? Most food trucks would be $10-12 for that food. The fries are thinly cut, salted, and great. There are several options available and while I didn't try it, an off-menu item is the jalapeño hot dog, which is supposedly quite good. Service is great. Incredibly friendly. Finally!! Have been trying to get here for months! I'm always either too early or too late. Or, I forget about it and eat somewhere else. ‍ Heading out of town one weekend and found the opportunity to stop. It was everything I hyped it up in my mind to be. I love a good hot dog and I mean L. O. V. E. And sure, people will tell you such and such has great dogs, but do they?? It is really hard to find that perfect hot dog that's just to your liking. Well. Mission accomplished. These were perfect! First and foremost, they had kraut! I'm a Jersey girl, so that's kind of a requirement for a great hot dog. Just kraut and spicy mustard for me this time. They serve hand cut fries so we enjoyed those with our dogs and everything was delicious. I'm giving this place a one star for poor service. Everyone gave this place so much hype. We waited in the drive through for a hour very patiently, witch wasn't the problem because we seen they were busy . Yet when we finally got our food we were missing a plate. The plate we ordered second actually. We informed them that we were missing a plate ( my 11yr olds hotdog and fries) .. They said no problem and shut the window.. Came back and said she "informed them they missed a plate and the response was they know but forgot to ring it up so if we wanted it we need to pay for it"... Mind you.. After waiting a hour or so already plus the additional time trying to retrieve the missed plate.. We explained that if she knows she missed it then this was their wrong doings not ours when we've waited this long and have already paid 30$ on 4 Hotdog's. . the Man comes to the window and Very rudely asks "what our problem is and why we think we can just get free food off of them when they have been busting their ass all day being busy"... Mind you. My three young kids were also in the car.. My husband explained what happened in a nice manner ( biting his tongue )and then the man again rudely comes back with "I know this was our fault but idk who you think you are thinking I'm just going to give you a free plate". . we let them know they can keep there hotdog and we will NOT be back. . First visit to Boone Doggies at the corner of Stratford and Clemmonsville was great. Hot dog combo was good and better than most you can get at a brick and mortar restaurant. I got the dogs with chili, slaw and mustard. Good taste and not too messy! Service was fast and friendly. Prices are reasonable. I will definitely be back with friends and coworkers. read more

Great food, there hot dogs are one of a kind. The people are even better. We sat in our car cuz it was cold out and the man who took our order came over and made sure we had everything we needed and that the food was good.
