I went yesterday for the first time and when I met Jay he immediately knew what was happening with my Sciatica PLUS things that were happening I had no idea of. He discussed all my symptoms and reviewed my history and did my first adjustment. It was something like I had never experienced but woke up this morning with a different kind of pain. Not the sharp stabbing sensation that I have been experiencing for 10 years, but just an aching sensation that warm hot pad and rest helped with 100% ! I have another adjustment on Friday and I look forward to hopefully never having to see another Orthopedic Surgeon and get shots again. Upon meeting Dr. Wilson and his assistant, my concerns were listened to compassionately. Dr. Wilson wanted to know the big picture of my life activities (which for me includes working as night shift ER nurse, daily exercise, dancing professionally, and being a mom of 2) and my health background. An assessment revealed where my body's limitations were and how it has been impacting my life. For example, my neck pain was causing me to limit myself in dance performances. Within weeks, my pain has already significantly reduced--and I can finally walk (and sleep!) without wincing. Dr. Medford is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also genuinely funny and clearly loves what she does. She makes every visit feel easy and positive, even when things are out of whack.
