I need to connect to a VPN for my work place, however, the connection is ONLY blocked whenever I am connected to the Gigstreem network (The ISP of my apartment complex). I have detailed the issue and escalated it multiple times to Gigstreem support, however, they have just kept on closing my tickets without resolutions after "escalating to the engineering team". They have been hesitant in hopping on a live call session to see my issue in real time and insisted that they will be "working on the issue after the call". I have been waiting on a resolution for 3 weeks, I even have escalated this issue to my work support and the VPN provider's support who have both confirmed the issue is from Gigstreem. I have confirmed that as well since the connection works when I'm connected to any other non-Gigstreem network. It is really disappointing to be locked into this ISP and their support channel just refuses to even look into this.

Due to continued price increases, I chose to terminate my service in November and called to cancel. The representative I spoke with assured me that my service would be discontinued and that I would receive a prepaid return box for the Hopper equipment. After this call, I logged into my account and made what I believed to be my final payment. However, unbeknownst to me, Dish Network reinstated my service without my authorization and continued to bill me. Since I had already moved on to streaming services and was no longer using Dish, I had no reason to suspect that I was still being charged. When the return box never arrived, I called customer service again, only to discover that my account had been reactivated. I was then wrongfully informed that I had agreed to renew my contract, and when I disputed this, the representative placed me on hold to check with another department. Upon returning, I was told there was no evidence of my authorization for renewal--which confirms that my account should have been canceled as initially requested. To add insult to injury, despite finally being able to return the equipment, Dish Network has added a non-return equipment charge to my account. I am now being forced to pay for two months of unwanted service and an unjustified fee, making this situation feel like outright extortion. Consumers be very careful

As of October 2013, they have filed over 330 law suits against their clients, according to the Maryland District Court record alone. Please look up their name under "Maryland Judiciary Case Search" and you will see what I mean. In our case, we signed a contract to provide 1.5 Mbps Internet speed along with telephone services. The actual speed we were getting was between 0.08 and 0.1 Mbps at all times no matter what time of day you tested it. As for the service itself, they promise you 99.99% up time, we were getting service interruptions between internet and phone service almost on a daily basis. Every time we called, they tell us that they have "opened a ticket", whatever that means, and they will fix the problem, no one ever calls or follows up with us and the service come back hours later and sometime 2 or 3 days later. Imagine running a business under these conditions. I do not recommend Global Telecom Brokers not even to my worst enemy. Service is useless, very expensive, it comes with a ton of promises and I guarantee you none will be delivered. They have a tendency of doing everything verbally (by telephone) rather than reply to emails, and now I know why, so nothing is in writing when they go to court. Avoid Global Telecom Brokers at all cost because they are a scam. I can't wait for Maryland to shut them down for their illegal activities.
