After helping me navigate the Asurion process and clear everything off the phone for a replacement as per the Asurion policy, we realized that the phone had been fitted with an excellent screen protector(neither had detected it) and the phone wasn't broken at all! He suggested I try to cancel the claim and patiently waited while I got the agent to take care of it. I had gotten a usb repaired in the past at this place, and that went well. However for my recent visit, it was horrible. I had dropped off my friend's ps5 for a simple cleaning. Everything had worked ok, it was just that it kept turning off from overheating. After waiting, I got a call that the ps5 isn't sending a signal through the hdmi port. Something about the hdmi not receiving enough power from the mother board, from what I remember. They offered to swap the hdmi to see if that works, to which I said ok. But it didn't. They handed it back saying that it's unrepairable. It turned from cleaning out a ps5 to being unrepairable. At least they had good customer service, and they said they refunded since it wasn't repairable. Which at least that is good. I didn't want my friend to have to spend money on buying a completely new console so I tried a different place. I took it to a place called console repair store. I should've taken it there before considering the name. I knew about it, but forgot about it. They not only did a cleanout, but had said the hdmi wasn't even soldered on correctly, along with it being crooked. Unlike UbreakIfix they aren't a corporation that's constantly changing technitions. My repeated experiences at this location deserve attention. I dropped off my MacBook on September 13, 2025, for repair. Two weeks later, the store told me it "wouldn't turn on." I had made it clear that I needed to delete my data before any work began, but they dismissed my concern entirely. When I visited the store, Jarrett refused to let me see my own computer. After nearly 20 minutes of unnecessary back-and-forth, a supervisor finally allowed me to check it--and to everyone's surprise, I powered it on instantly. That proved no one had even attempted a real diagnosis or repair. The "won't turn on" label was simply a way to close the ticket without doing the work. When I returned on November 6, 2025, after receiving a replacement device, Jarrett's behavior was even worse. He was rude, dismissive, and disrespectful, even after I called Asurion right there in the store and confirmed my active coverage. He refused to perform basic check-in steps, accused me of trying to get free service, and then walked away mid-conversation to help another customer. It was blatant disregard and poor customer treatment. The only reason my visit didn't end in complete frustration was because Jake--who witnessed the interaction--stepped in, answered my questions in a few minutes, and allowed me to leave with clarity. Jarrett's attitude and lack of professionalism have no place in customer service. This isn't an isolated issue; it reflects a pattern of poor management, inadequate training, and failure to uphold even basic service standards. I would never recommend anyone visit this location. If management doubts this account, the store cameras will clearly show how Jarrett treated me as a paying customer. He should be removed from customer-facing duties immediately, as his actions damage both the uBreakiFix and Asurion brands. read more

I rarely post reviews, but the service I received at Asurion in Glen Burnie was horrible. The website was great, I made an appt and got a fee of $49 to repair my cell phone screen. When I arrived at my scheduled time, the worker was helping a customer, he made eye contact but did not acknowledge me further. After about 20 minutes another customer walked in, when he promptly greeted him and went to help him, I spoke up and said I had an appointment. My experience just continued to go down hill from there. The worker eventually helped me, told me the cost would be $250, and was generally rude and condescending. I asked for my phone, promptly left the store and drove about 10 minutes to 'Cell Phone Doctor.' The experience at Cell Phone Doctor was the difference between night and day! As soon as I walked in two workers greeted me and almost fell over themselves to assist me. They diagnosed the problem quickly and had my phone repaired within 2 hours for $80 (choose better quality glass for $10 more) with a lifetime gaurantee!! Asurion should get customer service tips from Cell Phone Doctor!! read more
