I brought in a working $2,500.00 laptop with sticking keys. It cost $200.00 + to get it fixed. I day later the screen would not come on. After $220.00 more NO COMPUTER! I have used cell phone doctor for years. The quality of their repairs and help and advice is excellent. I have had problems with charging ports going bad or needing cleaning, speaker and microphone problems and they have always come through. They have very good parts inventory so your repair can normally be done quickly and you have the choice of original manufactures parts or after market parts for use in the repair. They will give you excellent advice on phone choice when it is time for a new phone. Recently I bought a new phone on line and the screen cover that I put on had a large bubble. When the bubble could not be removed because of lack of glue at that bubble point, the tech put a new screen protector on that I gave her and the phone now looks excellent. Because I was a long-term customer, she generously did not charge me for her time. The business cares and takes care of their customers. It shows and it is appreciated. Give them a try. Dropped my 5S and shattered the screen. Stopped by without an appointment and the screen was replaced in less than 15 minutes and I was on my way with a fixed phone! Price was $99.99 and I only called one other place, which was $109.99. Phone seems to be working great. Shop is average, nothing fancy, which is fine by me - hopefully I wont be going there again! Needed to have battery in an iPhone 6 replaced. Called them and got an estimate....spoke to a pleasant knowledgable young man and received a $$ and time estimate. Went to store and was helped by a friendly young lady. Was told it would take an hour. I decided to wait. They have a few comfortable chairs. 20 minutes later, they were done. I could not have asked for this to go any better. In that 20 minutes, I was able to listen to them helping a few other customers with technical issues. The people in this shop are lovely and honest. Whenever anyone in my family needs a computer repair or older part, we go here first. When we leave, we feel confident our electronics are in responsible, capable hands. They're very good about phoning with estimates, estimate adjustments and when the repair is complete. I bought a refurbished computer for less than it would have cost to repair my old one, with specs that matched my needs. It's a little nerve-wracking to back out of their small parking lot onto Ritchie Highway, but that truly is the only negative thing I can say! read more

I brought my phone in to replace only the front camera glass, which had shattered. The camera was still operational. After coming back an hour and a half later, they told me they had to replace the whole screen (which was cracked, but I didn't ask for that to be fixed, because I could deal with it), because the phone would no longer turn on. They had a guy in a white lab coat explaining to me why this was necessary, probably because dumb people trust people in lab coats. Pretty shady practice. He didn't take any responsibility. Anyway, the option to keep my original screen was off the table, because he had already essentially broken my phone, and I had to pay for the new screen. The new screen works far worse than my slightly cracked one, the coloration is very off, and I will never use this business ever again. Very bad business practice. read more

I have been there several times and finally got around to writing a review. the guys and gals there are very professional and will assist in whatever they can. they will even recycle used electronics instead of throwing them away in your trash. I bought an used iPod mini and fixed a screens on an iPad mini and fixed my in-law's phone from overseas while they were visiting. guys are great. read more

I called ahead of time and spoken to Ashley. She was very nice on the phone. I told her what my problem with my IPhone 7 Plus. My cellphone wouldn't hold a charge. I've had problems in the past that had to replace my cellphone about 3 times. I didn't want to get another one. I asked if they can fix it. She said yes and told me the price and how long I had to wait. I said ok I'll be there. When I've gotten into my car and put it on my car charger and my phone was charging. I went to the store and spoken to Ashley. She looked at my phone at put it on her charger my phone was charging. The problem was the charger I had at home wasn't working. So I bought a new charger with 30% off. I've gotten home and I put it on the charger it's been charging without any problems. read more

I have a Samsung phone not too many business fix. I decided to try this small business in Glen Burnie. My problem was my phone would not let me transfer any videos to my computer. I had several people try to make this happen with no success. I explained my problem he said let me take a look. Not even 5 minutes he knew what was wrong and fixed it right away. I had thought I lost all my videos or had to keep them on my phone. They have my business from now on they fixed anything to do with electric devices. A big plus this was inexpensive. read more

These guys are terrific. I've used their services three times over the past year or two, finally getting round to this review. Most recent visit, new battery and screen armor for my cell phone. Prior visit, the guys salvaged all of my data from my computer that suddenly (and completely) died - switched hard drive into a functioning computer, pulled off data, handed me the thumb drive and after I bought a new computer, everything was back and usable. My first visit? No charge- the phone wouldn't charge and they fixed it, no charge. Who would have thought that lint in your pocket would accumulate in the charging port? Well, maybe you but not me. Took my iPad mini in to repair the busted screen. One of my toddlers stepped on it in a boot. They originally told me they'd have to order a part to fix it and it would be in in 3-5 business days, but they ended up calling me that evening saying it was done and ready for pickup. Picked it up the next morning and it was good as new. Cost me $110 but I was just glad it was fixable. Good quick service and friendly guys. read more

First and last time coming was a few months ago. First off the Manager on duty instead of solving my problem decided to walk away and avoid eye contact. After my phone was repaired my home button felt a lot more loose than normal. I asked about this when I received the phone was reassured it was not a problem. Later on my home button stopped working and was told have to pay or it and they could not even though it happened after my screen repair from them. My screen also has a defect in it causing a streak of white light down the center. Took my phone to another repair shop. It was opened and the technician immediately asked where from and was shocked at the poor quality screen and that they tore off my home button from the inside while doing the repair. Two technicians stated there is only one way for that to happen and that's when they opened it. Overall poor customer service and poor repair that caused other problems and ended up with a defected screen. read more

The work at this establishment is horrible. Had my screen replaced on my iPhone 6. Less then 30 days the screen started to pop up and caused it to crack. Brought it back within their "30 day warranty" and said that it was not covered. This place is a complete joke and doesn't stand by their work. Called about a price quote to get my phone fixed they said they had the parts and could do it that day for $50. Went in but was told they didn't have the parts and would have to order them and it would take 3 to 5 business days and it would cost $60. Wasted my time that day and changed up the price on me but I gave them the benefit of the doubt so I ordered the parts myself then went back. This time they gave me an even higher quote to fix the phone even with bringing in the parts myself. These guys are scam artists and not even good at it. read more

Avoid this place at all costs! They refuse to fix their own improper screen replacements. I came to this location to get the screen replaced on my iPhone. The replaced the screen and installed it over a dent into the side of my phone causing the screen to bend instead of pulling the dent out of the side of my phone. The screen cracked at that bend due to improper installation the next day. I took my phone in to have them fix their own work. They refuse to fix their own work and are charging me to fix it again. AVOID THIS PLACE! Luckily someone else who was there to get their screen replaced saw this and took their business elsewhere. read more

any one who ever needs cell phone repair, do not not not go to cell phone doctor on Ritchie Hwy in Glen Burnie!!! I am irate. I had a iPhone 6 plus I took in for screen repair I asked them if they can change the color from black to white they said sure. they failed to mention they do not have the proper equipment to change the home button because if they do you can no longer use your finger print or factory reset your phone etc.,, so they changed it to white and left the button black and gave me my phone back broken. yes broken! they broke the home button! so it no longer works at all! they insist the home button was like that when we brung it in. they are liars! we used the phone all the way up to the desk when we dropped it off and if that were true why didn't they mention the home button was broken to us when we dropped it off or whenever they noticed it ? they claim they checked it out before working on it n the home button didn't work, why didn't I hear about this before they opened up the phone? I know why, because they are lying! I'm so mad, they gave me no discount and charged me full price! this is not the first time I had this issue with these ppl. the first time they fixed a screen for me it kept going black like it died but it wasn't dead it was still on eventually it went black and stayed that way. I went to apple thinking it was something wrong in the phone and they said they cant honor the warranty because cell phone doctor fixed the screen however the issue wasn't in the phone anyway it was the screen ,I called cell phone doctor ,they wouldn't help because at that time they only gave a month warranty and it was over a month .I now have a broken phone that was not broken when I took it there if it was I would of asked them if they could fix it and mentioned it to them, the phone looks awful and they basically are calling me a liar when I tell them it was not broken, there was 6 ppl who were my witness to the home button being fine. but oh well I guess. I already had to have the phone repair shop a Marley station fix their mess up on my phone before and now they messed it up again. oh and they also said my battery is gonna start messing up on me soon now too.they cant explain why unless they show me but some kind of lines in the battery ,idk.my battery has been fine too so who knows what these ppl are doing ,,swapping out parts to make and save money I guess idk but save your self the trouble and go to Marley she's a little more expensive but at least you wont get a broken phone back! read more

Glad I found this place! My iPhone 6 screen has been cracked for almost a year but stopped working as a touch screen right when I paid it off! I have been looking forward to a bill less than $100 so I didn't want to upgrade! Found this local business using Yelp, they were able to fix my phone in a hour and a half, same day! Cost a little more than I expected, $130, but worth it to have my iphone in perfect condition again, hopefully it'll last me another year or more! read more

I took my Nexus 5 phone in for speaker and microphone problems. They repaired while I waited for $90. The tech appeared to be thorough as repair took approximately one hour. He also cleaned my phone. It was nice to converse with tech afterwards. Shop is good sized and they apparently have a large inventory of parts from equipment that that they buy and sell. The large inventory of parts is a major plus in getting your phone repaired quickly. Nice to have option of having tech repair now with used parts or wait five days for new parts at likely higher cost if new parts are not on hand. Shop appears well run and organized. I have not used the shop before so I will wait six months before I give a final rating. If after six months my speaker and microphone problems do not reappear, I will happily change my rating to five stars. read more
