Went to Boot Barn to buy my son some good boots for school.I was done buying cheap vinyl boots at WalMart, that would only last for a month or so, and wanted some quality boots. After trying on several pair, we decided on some Ariats, made of leather with a real sole. Eric the salesman was very helpful and patient, and we are very happy with our purchase. I spent less here on these good boots, than I spent on 4 pairs of "cheap" boots at WalMart. Well worth the money and great quality. read more

The store workers misled me about the delivery date on an item. It did not arrive until much later than what was promised. When I complained to a store manager, she told me to "just be happy that I have my boots now." That absolutely blew my mind, who taught to customers like that, especially when your employees lied to them. I would not have gotten the boots if I would've known they would take that long to arrive. I'm especially appalled at the manager's response to " just be happy I have them now." I've shopped at Boot Barn for years and so has my family, but after this experience I'm done. I bought a pair of black Cody James jeans less than 30 days ago. From the factory they had an absolutely overwhelming chemical/sulfur smell -- so bad you couldn't even stand near them. This wasn't wear-and-tear, it was clearly from the dye/manufacturing process. I went back to exchange them (no tags, but clearly unworn and within the return window) and was treated horribly by two employees, Daniel Slater and Alexis -- one of whom said they were a manager. I was flat-out denied any help because the tags were missing, with zero attempt to acknowledge the manufacturing issue or offer a solution. No flexibility. No customer service. No respect for long-time customers. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable -- just an exchange for a defective item. Instead I walked out frustrated and honestly shocked at how dismissive they were. Just a heads-up for anyone shopping there: if something is wrong with a product, don't expect Boot Barn to stand behind it. read more

the manager is a terrible and spiteful person, Emily is someone that deeply impacted my opinion of this establishment and i will NOT be returning. i hope that, at a later date, if i do come back, i will not be seeing her there. customer service was great from the employees the other times i went in though, especially the boy with the long hair. read more

the holidays are a tough and stressful time for us all. Retail stores are overwhelmed with purchases and returns that never seem to end. Today I exchanged a hat and had great service by Nick and the team that made me feel appreciated as a veteran and also a father. I returned a pair of boots that were too tight and would need a boot stretcher and had no issues getting money back. I had not worn the boots and they were as I bought them two weeks prior and I had my receipt. read more

Refused to exchange. Not return exchange I had all the receipts and original I just wanted a different size as these were too small, but because they were worn outside for 2 minutes. As you can see from the pictures there is no damage (just some dust) they refused to take them. The "manager " Dan, was rude and degrading. Do not recommend this establishment. read more

Poor service. Told me my item was in stock when it was not. I went to the store to pick it up, and the item on hold was not my item. Two representatives at the store told me it was my item, and it was not the right one. The gentleman who placed my order in the store was great, but all the people I talked to on the phone did not know what they were talking about. Then my item does get delivered to the store and I ask if I can do curbside pick up, and I am told yes just call when I arrive and they will bring it out to me. So when I arrive, I call and I get the manager. She is extremely rude and says that is not their policy and wants to know who I talked to, but I did not know. She refuses to bring it out to me. She said I have to sign for it which is why she cannot bring it out the door. I already paid for it. Yes, I had to sign for it, but the signing machine is hand held so she could have brought it out to me. Signing at the register on the machine or at my car is the same. Then she claims she can get me a receipt for my order pick up and then she says it actually cannot print as the pick up confirmation is by email only. She kept being overly rude. Multiple people kept telling me things that were not right. They do not know what they are doing. Do not recommend and will not be going back. Save yourself the time. read more

Rushed to get here before 8 since Yelp says hey are open until 8, but they close at 7!!! **updated review** I went back to the store the next day during business hours. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door and the gentleman was SUPER friendly and nice. He took his time showing this city girl several styles if boots. Although I was not able to find something that suited my taste for boots, he was very helpful in telling what I should look for in a pair of boots right down to how much room I should have at the toe to the correct amount if heel lift to prevent a blister our bruise! I ended up leaving with a really nice shirt, but no boots. I would def come back!! read more

This place seemed pretty promising at first. The variety of different items to buy looked spectacular and the customer service was very friendly. It's obvious though the customer service is only friendly in hopes for a 10/10 5 star customer service review they LOVE to point out on their receipt. No harm in that since a lot of companies would want to know they are doing good. So here's where everything was so good anymore. I bought a $260 pair of boots, was told they were waterproof and insulated, and was told they were the cheapest price in the valley. Was also clearly told that if the slightest things was wrong with them there would be NO PROBLEM with bringing them back. Ok, sounds great. Bought them and went on my way. Two days later I noticed my feet were not kept warm in the oh so promising insulated boots. Decided they were not worth $260 and took them back in. Kimberly, the same exact employee who helped me buy the boots was incredibly rude when I had told her they didn't keep my feet warm like I though they would. She at first refused to take them back since they were worn outside. Hm, interesting because the return policy does not state they couldn't be worn outside and not returned. And tell me one person out there who goes and buys boots and doesn't wear them? These are utility boots, meant to be worn by someone working outside by laborers. After being a little more forceful she finally gave me my money back. She was not the same kind person when I came in to buy them. Went to boot barn in medford on the 10th of March 2015. The manager (Cassie Rooney) was extremely rude. She was hostile and dismissive when I asked for the bathroom key. When I asked her why they were locked at all she said "it is corporate policy and it keeps honest people honest[sic]". She lost a 200 dollar sale and a life time customer. read more

The absolute WORST EXPERIENCE at a store I've EVER had hands down. First, they sold me the complete wrong type of boots that I specifically asked for. When I TRY to bring them back the manager was disrespectful, argued with me, and even REFUSED to give me the phone number for her higher up! Extremely poor customer service, That doesn't even cover half of it. I purchased a pair of boots online from this company. Be cautious buyers, after ordering I checked and found we had been charged four times for the same pair of boots. I logged on and received good customer service from the online chat on there website. HOWEVER when the boots came in they were the wrong size. I once again logged on and called my wife and had her take it to the store on Biddle Rd. in Medford OR. The associate there told her the same information I had already shared with my wife however recommended she return them by sending them back VIA UPS. then proceeded to give her directions to a UPS store that is non existent and hasn't been there ever. Upset my wife and I return to the store where yet another associate told her she wasn't allowed to return the boots because they were purchased off of there website and not at that store. Long Story short my wife ordered another pair of boots off of Country Outfitters and got the correct boots and size of boots. Now were just stuck with brand new incorrect size boots. read more
