I'm not sure when they moved to their 2 level shop on Main street, nor do I remember what was here before. Afterall, Gayle and I have been coming to Ashland every year (except COVID) since 2006. I found a nice short and nice fitting sleeve button down shirt for 40% off and a useful Fjällräven travel pouch. There was more to consider, but that will have to wait for the next trip or closer to a future ski season. Store staff were more than helpful in leading me onward.

I found some amazing pieces thanks to Leela's willingness to let me go through my process and to not give up on me, and she never ever pushed me. Her philosophy is that Outback in the Temple of Venus is a place where women can go to be heard and seen and cared for and listened to, and also they sell clothes. I felt totally comfortable with her. I was the only customer for most of the time I was there, and we chatted nonstop. I was there until closing time and she never rushed me. They have items from $10 to $300+, and sizes from XS to 3X. Nice mix of natural fibers and synthetics. I spent less here on these good boots, than I spent on 4 pairs of "cheap" boots at WalMart. Well worth the money and great quality.

The store workers misled me about the delivery date on an item. It did not arrive until much later…read morethan what was promised. When I complained to a store manager, she told me to "just be happy that I have my boots now." That absolutely blew my mind, who taught to customers like that, especially when your employees lied to them. I would not have gotten the boots if I would've known they would take that long to arrive. I'm especially appalled at the manager's response to " just be happy I have them now." Absolutely worst customer service experience I've ever had. I hope nobody shops here, I'm not the only one who seems to have had a horrifying customer service experience
