I explained the discoloration and she helped look through the straight leg style with me. She said it looked like a bad batch of jeans as we found a few pair with the same flaw. She pulled them off the shelf and thanked me more than once for showing her. She offered to order the style, size and color online for free delivery to my home. I agreed. One time I brought in a Michael Kors bag and they turned it down for "staining." The kicker? I brought in the exact same bag a week later and they bought it. How does that make sense? Most recently, I waited over 2 hours just to be told they wouldn't take anything -- even jewelry, which one of the employees admitted she wanted to buy but was told not to. So it's not about quality, it's just random. Meanwhile, you'll see plenty of similar or worse-quality items on their racks. If you're going to run a resale shop, at least be transparent and consistent with what you accept. Otherwise, you're just wasting people's time.
