We'd been to a couple of malls, Nordstrom rack, and many boutiques spanning from Anderson to Greenville over the past several days and quite frankly, I was exhausted and so discouraged by the time my husband finds this store online. He didn't even tell me where we were going, just that he had come up with another place to try. We walk in and I'm instantly drawn to the first display along the wall where I finally see a sleek suit jacket that didn't look like a man's and wouldn't swallow me whole. I'm short and curvy, it's a struggle finding clothes that fit. I scored in here! All the ladies were so helpful in putting an outfit together. Not only do I have a nice suit in the works (of course needs tailoring) but also several shirt options for the event. Lasts minute I noticed a cute tweed corset hanging up that I definitely will have fun with! After what had been such a daunting few days of shopping (which in general I do not enjoy) these ladies came through and helped me pull together an outfit that I can wear with my head held high. The clothing options range from cute and sassy to utmost professional. The clothing materials and construction are top notch, something that used to be the norm in the not so distant past but is becoming increasingly harder to find. The entire staff was extremely helpful and I'm so grateful! Were the clothes a bit pricy? Sure. But these are not the disposable clothes you get off Amazon. For a bit more money you can purchase clothes of quality that will last. Plus they were having a huge sale in which we fully took advantage. I had hesitations about going on this day, as I was dressed for running errands. I also like the similar clothing line of a nearby store, but upon entering that store though dressed in that brand and coming from a professional job, I was given a once over and cold and curt "Hi". When visiting Chico's, I was immediately greeted with two friendly welcomes. I was also soon personally greeted and subsequently chatted with an employee about a current sale, the sizing configuration, etc. I was impressed with the arrangement and displays of the merchandise, the availability of a range of sizes, and the overall atmosphere. Though I was not dressed as a typical or really even a potential customer, I greatly appeciate the genuine hospitality to the ladies working on 6/23. I will be returning regularly to this shop!
