I showed up about 20 minutes to closing time and instead of rushing me through or badgering me (like a lot of other places do when you show up Close to closing ) these 3 were what made my visit exceptional! Very polite and most helpful!!! I'm not sure if they will get the attention they deserve for being such a pleasant encounter but I will be going back when I'm In town just because of these 3 young adults. Decided to stop in and I'm so happy I did! They had the most perfect shoes for me, I purchased the Pearl White Cloud 5's. The two gentlemen at the front were very friendly and accommodating. They didn't have my size out in front and one of the gentlemen went to the back and found it, I was so relieved. Thank you kind sirs!! Final note: They had a sign/sticker by the register supporting our VETERANS, which I absolutely love to see!

I love the era of 20's and 30's look, and these particular shoes I have are probably 12 years old and still look like I just bought them. The quality of shoes they bring in is amazing to say the least. My sister has lived all over the world and when she comes to visit, she never leaves without visiting Thompson's! The staff member at the desk did acknowledge our existence when we first came in,but the looks we received from the other male staff was very degrading and obstinate... NO ONE ASKED if my colleagues and I needed any assistance... and just to note, we we there about an hour and a half before we checked out... the only credit I'll give to the place is the young lady that rung up the order for our shoes... and when we asked questions about certain promotions, concerning "the wheel" at the front register...and this was addressed to the guy that ignored us the whole time we were there...all he said was " that's only if you buy socks".. then he commenced to turn away without any explanation of how we could improve our chances of being apart of something great.....!!!.. this is only after my work colleagues and I spent at least 200 dollars in the store without the assistance of ANYONE IN THE STORE!!!!!.... I went into this store to purchase some steel toe shoes and other items and not ONE TIME did anyone…read moreof the store associates offer to help us. I had to go to the cashier to ask for assistance when there were 3 associates on the floor to include the manager. I will NEVER spend another dime in this place due to the obvious RACIST staff. They looked at us and turned their heads.
