Purchased a pair and if boots today, was semi-busy. Four personnel were working, but not anywhere near the footwear. Eventually located the boots I wanted. Two cashiers, drawers weren't maintained and decided to do a cash out at point when line was longest. Staff wasn't mean, but sales lady seemed,manager with gray/light blue/brown hair, to be irritated and only interested with the hat steamer/shaper activities away from the cashier station. I probably won't come back to the store again. I should've just made the trip down the hill. Used to be a pleasant store to shop, but it appears it's primary shift now is to work boots, crossover punk hairdo's and long stares by the employees. read more

Went in for jeans and new boots, I was greeted as soon as I walked in with a cheerful hello from all three girls. Amber spent 45 minutes helping me find the perfect jeans. I went to boot barn last night at about 7:55pm when I realized they closed at 8pm. I walked in and told them I would be quick and I just needed to grab some boots and I would be out quick. The lady that helped me was absolutely amazing. She helped me pick the boots I wanted and she was so patient with me I was very happy with the service i got with all three employees that were working. None of them seemed upset that I was in so late. I hate that I didn't get their names. Thank you! read more

What a joke largest western boot store, I think not I wear a size 13, large but not that uncommon They had exactly one pair of size 13 cowboy boots, not one style I mean ONE PAIR I really wanted a pair of boots so I decided to look at size 14 and see if I could make it work. Guess what? One pair a hideous pair at that. Ok I thought go the other way how bout a 12 ee and squeeze in. You guessed it two pairs and they were the same style as each other and cheap and ugly.on top of that they were on sale for 169.95 I wouldn't give 30.00 bucks for those boots. To say the store was disappointing is an exstream understatement, they should be ashamed to have boot in their name. I did give them one star and that's only because they were open. I have always had a pleasent experience at Boot Barn and nice people like Amanda are the reason I will continue to go back.

Now I have been to different Boot Barns throughout California, and this is the first one I have had a negative experience. I went to try on a few pairs of jeans and the fitting rooms are locked. Stood around waiting for help for almost ten minutes and they never acknowledged me. If your going to lock your fitting rooms then you need to make sure you staff them. $200.00 in jeans is a considerable sale so work for it. Three staff members working and a handful of customers (none of which were being attended to). I did see many boxes as if they just got a delivery so I think they were stocking. Stocking can wait, customers can not for the most part. I don't mind waiting a little but they were acting as if there were no customers. In the meantime my husband was trying on boots for a wedding later in the day. After trying on a few he finally flagged someone down to ask if the boot he liked came in a wide. She simply stated "no" and toddled off. Excuse me but boots are a $200+ investment, maybe she should have recommended a different boot. Unless you ask and persist, you will get limited help. Customer service training is much needed at this store. read more

If you're looking for good customer service, and helpful staff- go elsewhere. Luckily for the Store, the lowest grade Yelp lets me give is a 1, otherwise it'd be a 0. I went with a friend that's getting married soon. She spent a lot of money, as she purchased boots for her entire bridal party at this location. The initial sales woman that helped her was super helpful, and polite. However, we arrive at the Store, and the "Key Holder" Amanda was very rude, throughout our entire visit. She wasn't aware that my friend had a prior arrangement with the Manager to keep all the boots at the Store until all the boots were available, (this way she didn't need to make several trips to pick-up each pair that arrived) Amanda rudely told my friend that she needs to take the order that came in, as they're taking up space in the backroom. Later, she came back to "apologize" to us. Not for her unprofessional or poor behavior, but to inform my friend that she wasn't aware she had made prior arrangements with the Manager. When her bad behavior was pointed out but yet another customer during our visit- she backtracked, and started referring to us as "Hun." Boot Barn should be embarrassed by this employee's behavior. Not only is it a bad example for other staff members as to what's tolerated within this Company, but Amanda is in "management" and we were all appalled. My fiancee buys all his work boots from Boot Barn, and when we need boots for our nuptials- we will be taking our business elsewhere, to an establishment that treats all customers with respect. read more
