Instead of feeling welcomed, we were made to feel like an inconvenience from the moment we walked in. One employee spent much of our visit sneering and making faces at us. She eventually approached us and told my child she could not sit on an empty bottom shelf. I immediately corrected my child and respected the request, even though I honestly did not understand what harm she was causing by sitting there. My child had a significant reaction because that space had become a safe place for her. Anyone who has experience with autism knows that removing a child from a perceived safe space can sometimes result in a big reaction. Rather than showing even a little patience or understanding, this employee continued to make faces at us from across the store while we tried to help our child regulate, so we could leave. I understand employees have rules to enforce. What I do not understand is the complete lack of compassion. My child is disabled. She was not being malicious, disruptive, or intentionally disrespectful. She was a toddler struggling with a situation she did not understand. Watching an employee visibly judge us while we were trying to help our child was incredibly upsetting. We walked into the store looking for shoes and walked out feeling like our family wasn't welcome there. Families with children who have disabilities deserve better than this. Management should seriously consider addressing how employees are expected to treat customers with disabilities and families who may need a little extra patience and understanding.

The shoes I bought don't offer much support. I guess none of the Clarks shoes nowdays don't, even for walking on smooth, paved roads. Wore them for a week and as I was doing our easy-moderate walks my feet hurt already. But they looked good. :)Well that's not the fault of the store, it's just how things are poorly made nowadays. Two ladies working at the store. One was a bit rude. I guess small town hospitability. Some just haven't learned proper retail customer service and etiquette.

When I started to write review I read the prior review, I wonder if the same woman is still working there ? Very "snooty", "too good" to assist attitude ! I actually waited to check out (even though my husband was rushing me) because I was intimidated to dare interrupt their in depth personal conversation and make them work to ring me up. When she did, she didn't do the math correct on my punch card, I lost some credit. She also couldn't be bothered to let me know that I would have got a MUCH better deal by buying one more pair that applied to promotion. My advice: be prepared to help yourself, figure out the promotion and which items apply yourself, add time to wait for any assistance, made to feel like you're not good enough to be in that store.
