In the coupon booklet from customer service, it advertised 10% off of $75 "before discounts". What was confusing was the price they should be using to calculate the $75. I had a top marked $54.99 and a pair of pants marked $49.95 which would've been over $75 before the discount. The employee at the register was unhappy (prior to my arrival to the counter) that the regional manager had not yet made a determination on how to calculate what the basis is to apply the 10%. When salesperson rung in my two items after the discount, they did not exceed the $75 so she concluded that the 10% did not apply but kept looking at the other sales person for confirmation ...who shrugged his shoulders. They all seemed frustrated by how this promotional offer worked. For me, it wasn't worth the wait and the frustration to save $7, so I still purchased my two items but that left a sour taste for me and their lack of customer service.

This Banana Republic Factory Store seemed to have some different and unique items that other Banana Republic stores do not have. I was really impressed with the selection and discounts available at this location as the prices and value was so good that I was able to get a couple of items more than I anticipated getting. The staff here provided good service and assistance as I was felt like I was taken care of here. The checkout line was quick and efficient as I was able to purchase my items without any trouble. It was a brutally cold day (literally, too cold to ski), and we needed something to occupy our time. BR was busy, but not overcrowded: the layout of the store allows the flow and movement of patrons without hindrance. I perused the entire Women's section (whilst my husband eyed the Men's clothing from a distance), literally finding dozens of things I wanted to buy, let alone try on. Most of their racks had some kind of sale pricing advertised, but some of it was simply the price on the tag. Unfortunately, that meant that the $50 shirt and $80 dress was a no-go for my wallet. Once I got back to the clearance section, however, my mood lifted. Here were several racks worth of pants, skirts, and shirts in every size. I tried on many items, but ultimately purchased only one skirt. Certain "common" sizes (such as M/L tops and 8/10 pants, skirts, etc) were well combed over and limited. The skirt I purchased had already been discounted several times, and then the clearance discount rang in the register (70%!). I believe I paid $5 for a beautiful brocade skirt that looks absolutely fab on me. So! If you're in the area and looking to a) burn money or b) burn time, I'd definitely recommend this Banana Republic Factory Store. She then watched as I spent 15 minutes shopping and picking things out, and then rudely told me, after she watched me try to open a fitting room at 6:45, that she closed the fitting room at 6:30 for sanitizing. What? That is a closing job and takes all of a minute. The next store I went to had their rooms open until 7. They lost all my business that night. So unnecessary and rude. This store was well-stocked and had a great selection with tons of discounts and Clearance. The best part was Olga, one of the staff attendants, who went above and beyond to help me and my husband. She made us feel comfortable, provided excellent styling recommendations, and didn't mind at all going to get us different sizes when needed. The staff was very accommodating; they also didn't have my size in a shirt that I absolutely loved, but they were able to mail the shirt in my size with free shipping to my home.
