It is a smaller aquarium, but was not at all lacking for the cost and what they advertised (I grew up in a Chicago suburb so it's hard to compare to the Shedd Aquarium). So many varieties of coral and anemone. Many types of grouper, clownfish, and starfish. The montereys were fun to watch. I'd almost consider this a petting zoo but for fish. There were 3 or 4 open tanks with the purpose of touching the fish. Our daughter is a little young for that but she loved tracking the fish in their tanks. The aquarium was well staffed. The staff was very friendly and informative. It was well maintained and clean. There's a little gift shop and a photo booth to remember your visit by on the way out. Would recommend to anyone who has kids maybe 14 and under or anyone who has a real interest in sea creatures.

One important note for those with sensitivities: Anyone with mold sensitivities, asthma, or environmental allergies may want to proceed with caution. We were indoors for about 35 minutes, and afterward I didn't feel well. The space is quite humid, and the building is older, with visible signs of water damage on the ceiling throughout the building. There also doesn't seem to be much fresh air circulation. Because my children and I are very sensitive to mold, this unfortunately isn't a place we'll be able to visit again anytime soon. I'm sharing this simply to help others with similar sensitivities make an informed decision.

Our youngest turned 5 and we wanted to throw him an extra special birthday party with friends. We've done private room bowling parties before and they're so great for enjoying time with other families and kids. You have a sectioned off private area so kids can run around and play and adults can relax and chat knowing the little ones can't escape easily. This was a 10/10 party! We paid for: 20 kids to bowl for 3 hours in the Z Lounge, endless soft drinks for 2 hours, 5 large 1 topping pizzas for the 20 kids and then adults had leftovers. We let the adults know it was a party for kids only to bowl and we'd have drinks and pizza for the kids and the adults were welcome to order food and drinks with a waiter that came to and from the room often. We also kept the $200 in arcade money and 20 ride/attraction passes for our kids instead of sharing them with the kids that came to the party. Our kids had an amazing time using those at a later date. It was totally worth it for everyone to have an amazing time and not have to host a party in our home. Both were good except we didn't receive the fry sauce I ordered and we were not given any napkins or ketchup. I went and asked for both. I took the fry sauce as a loss.
