Warm Springs Golf Course did an AMAZING job with their Clubhouse build. It is welcoming and spacious. A great place to hang after a round a golf, as well as a destination to bike to right off the Greenbelt. The servers are really friendly, and seem to genuinely enjoy working there. I appreciate that you order at the counter, are given a buzzer, can pick your own seat, then the buzzer will go off when your food is ready. It keeps the clubhouse feeling very relaxed and we don't feel rushed to eat and go after a long round of golf. I would highly recommend stopping in and checking out the updated clubhouse. read more

This is specifically for the Warm Springs Grill because no separate account is available. Loved loved loved the grill for a cool beer on a Boise late-summer evening. It's definitely a destination walk/ride along the greenbelt from downtown, or the Bown Crossing area. No food was ordered, so will have to update after another trip or two. read more

Get in line. No table service. Staff was very gracious despite the situation they were in. Food is ok. Not what I would expect from a grill and bar. If you're looking for the perfect high school cafeteria experience, this is the place. read more

GOOD LITTLE GOLF COURSE' We visited our grandson in town and had a day or two to play. I stopped by a little local grocery store to grab a few things and asked the young man behind the counter if Warm Springs was good to play he said it was. When I got to the course it was very busy so I went into the pro shop and asked the young man behind the counter if he could work a single in with a group. He said grab your clubs and you are up next. I found the golf course to be in very good shape and the greens were very good. The pace of play was a bit slow but not at all horrible. The gentlemen that I played with were very friendly and told me where to and not to hit the ball. I enjoyed my day at the golf course. Would recommend this course to anyone traveling to Boise and wants to play. read more

You've got to love a welcoming municipal golf course. This sits along the Boise River and you will sometimes share the fairways with flocks of geese. (It's part of the charm.) The driving range is sometimes too busy to easily get a spot. The putting green is fun, could use a little work to present more challenging practices. Things are getting a bit hectic right now as the course and clubhouse are undergoing major renovations, but it will be worth it. One hopes the chipping/ pitching green allows for a bit longer chips when all is completed. The pro shop is a bit limited. The buyer might consider that women play golf, too. Had to go elsewhere to buy a sand wedge. read more

Warm Springs Golf Club is such a convenient golf course from downtown. You don't have to fight through some of the cross town traffic. I have golfed here several times and this place is A-OK with me. The club house and the pro shoppe are simple but they work. Prices are affordable both for a game of golf, the driving range, and even their beers. My friends and I enjoy to do golfing happy hours where we grab a beer while we hit at the driving range. Best of all worlds! My one complaint with Warm Springs is I have never hit off of the grass at the driving range. Every time there are mats to hit from. Not sure if that ever changes? When I play a round of golf, the greens aren't top in the world, of course, but they work for me! They have some difficult holes and some fun par threes. I can't really complain for the price. We did a twilight game for $21.00. There are some great views of the evening sunsets from this course! They don't have crazy strict rule and that is what I like! Golf is my game and if I want to wear a shirt without a collar, that is ALLLL RIGHT!!! Way to go Warm Springs, I like what you do! read more

I love this course so much! Boise has some really nice city owned courses and this is one of them. Located right next to the greenbelt so you get to see and hear people running and riding their bikes, and the scenic views on this course are awesome! It's a wide open course so even the high handicapped players can play a round and not get too stressed out about losing a ball. They have a good selection of beer, and really good wraps and sandwiches in the pro shop. And they are priced really well. I got a chicken wrap and a bottle of water for $6! If you enjoy the game of golf, come here and check this place out, you won't be disappointed. read more

Nice Muni. My buddy and I were visiting for a soccer tournament and planned to play a course in the area. After talking to some locals, reviewing sites, and looking at our budget, we chose Warm Springs GC. We were very happy we did. Playing the sundown rate, we were able to get in 25 holes! Daylight lasts a long time in the northern latitudes in July. The course was in good shape, cart worked fine, and even a little wildlife on the course (deer ran right across the fairway, geese, etc). Not too tough as we shot pretty well using only 6 clubs (we didn't want to fill up the trunk on our 2000 mile trip). Very nice ... as a golfer who plays about 20 rounds a year, I recommend it. read more

Recently played Warm Springs. Have been avoiding it because I heard it was not a very good course. But, having finally played all the courses in the area, I gave in and tried it. What a surprise! This is a very nice course, especially if you are a senior and like to walk. Course is flat, nice layout with enough water and sand to make it interesting. They had punched and sanded the greens about 6 weeks prior, so they were in excellent shape. Fairways were well maintained and rough was not overly long. Found the staff, especially the grounds people, very friendly and helpful. I will say that the young kid working in the pro shop was fairly disinterested in my questions about the course, but I chalk that up to youth - he will learn. So, overall I now regret my avoidance of this course. It offers 18 holes of very enjoyable golf. read more

I snuck in a round of golf when I got to Boise before my meetings. The course was in great condition and very affordable. It was pretty empty so the pace was pretty fast. I had to rent clubs, which, unfortunately, sucked. I've had to use rental clubs before, and I've never had great experiences with them. This is one of the best muni public courses I've played. Just visiting from Wa State. Played on a whim and got right on. Staff was very nice and the beer was good. I got a set of rental clubs that were filthy with grass and dirt. It wouldn't take much to clean them for the next guest. Also they need to invest in a grill for the kitchen. They have a nice cafe but no food to speak of. Hotdog was average. I will come back though. The price was right for golf. read more

It's a municipal course that is rarely in decent shape. It is constantly plagued with slow play and the clubhouse is usually run by a couple of incompetent kids that would rather goof around than pay attention to what is happening around them. It's rare to find an adult actually working in the clubhouse. . With so many great courses in the treasure valley to choose from, I would highly advise avoiding this course unless you have no other options. read more

Average municipal course, not in nearly as good of condition of several other municipal courses I've played this year. I would give 3 stars but their pricing is outrageous. $34 for a nine hole Friday afternoon round with cart. $10 too expensive for the value, at least in my opinion. read more

I was utterly unimpressed to stay the least. The first problem was the guy behind desk at the clubhouse. He was Very rude and ignorant towards my group. He over charged us even though we had pointed out his mistake. The first hole was very bad. Pine cones on the green and muddy spots on the fairway. I've played a lot of golf in my day and I have got to say this was one of the worst course I've played. I played all 18 and I'm was unimpressed to say the least. For the money I was paying it feel way short of my expectations. I will not be returning anytime soon I urge you to go play at another course where they take pride in what they are doing. read more

I just recently golfed at this course and was it a piece of work. First of all the just plain ripped me off. I was charged 20 dollars over what I was suppose to. They defended themselves by saying it was the new season or some thing like. I later look at the prices online and they were totally different and cheaper then what i was charged at the course. Not to even mention that I went to the first tee where their looked like somebody just had a spray paint war where i was suppose to tee off. As well as guy in the club house using a microphone to call out names. Very Unprofessional. read more

Golfed here 7/11/16...Course is next to Boise River, which is nice. The place is seriously in need of upkeep and maintenance. The carts had ripped seats, broken fenders and other broken/missing parts. The first cut on the greens hadn't been mowed in a while.. Clover, grass were all of heights.. Fairways looked as if they hadn't been mowed for some time either. The greens were beat up, Flags were faded, from any distance you could not see what color they were. The whole place just looks like its being neglected. I will not play here again. read more
